Can you find anything I did wrong in the cfg? (I don't want to post this to the Kopernicus thread just yet, because the planet shows up as Laythe, so it's highly likely it's a mistake on my part)

@ProtoJeb21 and @Spaceception, wanna do a multiplayer/collab thing (With DMP or some other mod like that)?
If yes, please don't use scatterer because I have a sh*t PC.
-
What happened to my followers?
(I know you didn't do anything, but I was just wondering. )
-
Guys, I DID IT!!! I technically made a horseshoe orbit with 2 asteroids!

(Note that they are not in chronological order, as Imgur loaded them that way.)

Sorry for my hiatus.
Virus broke the website for awhile.

England: Has anyone seen America?
Canada: Hold on, I got this
Canada: *clears throat*
Canada: Bill Nye the science guy
America: *cRASHES THROUGH DOOR*
America: BILL BILL BILL BILL BILL
The sad thing is that it's true.
I'm from America and i'm listening to 10 hrs of BILL BILL BILL BILL BILL and I actually enjoy it.

Ok, so I tried to use Kittopia, but, JUST MY LUCK, it's WAY too complicated and I can't understand any of what it means. T-T
This is probably just because this is my first time ever using Kittopia, and ASS is my first mod ever.

Anyways, since I have several weeks with nothing to do, I think I should make a YouTube channel with the first video being a Kittopia Tech tutorial. It really sucks that nobody has bothered to do a planet-making tutorial since Planet Factory. I mean, c'mon guys! PF:CE is two years outdated and not NEARLY as good as Kopernicus and Kittopia!

Hey @The White Guardian, do you know how to generate atmospheric curves?
-
Yay!
500 rep!
(not exactly, I fell asleep, so I missed 500, but oh well. )
-
Hey ProtoJeb, what happened to @Galacticvoyager?
-
I'm proud to say it:
I HATE DRES!
-
Ok, so I have this idea that stuck me a few days ago, and I think it's really cool.
So the idea is a full galaxy with 300 stars and 900 planets total (That means each star system could have 3 planets, but it's not gonna be that uniform). And I also want to make a Gargantua (from "Interstellar") analogue, so the center will have 3 planets, a neutron star, and S2 and S0-102 analogues. I will make the "escape" velocity unnaturally low (for a black hole), so you can "escape" the galaxy (I'm using quotation marks because I'm changing the Sun into the center, so it's SOI will be infinity, like it is in the stock game). If this is even possible in the first place, I'll need to go back to my corner and think of a name for this mod.
Again, I'm not sure this is even possible without the game crashing upon starting it.

@ProtoJeb21 How do I use Kittopia?
-
When you download Kittopia, start the game, and enter the tracking station, open it with (Ctrl+P). Then, select the body you want to edit with the list you get from the button at the top of the Kittopia window. To export textures, go to Scaled Space Editor, scroll down, and click "Update Textures." Edit your PQS Mods inside the PQS Mod editor. Select your mod, change values, and save your changes with "Rebuild PQSMod."
Those are the essentials. PM me if you need extra help
Also, are you a fan of exoplanets like GJ 1214b? (just wondering because of your background picture)
-
Yes, I love the idea of water planets. That's where I got the idea of Coaster from the Antares mod. (Though GJ 1214b isn't my favorite exoplanet, J1407b is.)
It's weird how my first ever mod is so popular.
I just thought "Hmm... Since there are no Red Giant mods, I'll make one!".
And then it started to explode.

How do I make a signature? I just wrote the prologue and first chapter to my KSP story, and I want a signature so people actually know it exists.
-
Hiatus?
Want to know why you haven't been active for a while.
-
You need to update the mod for 1.2, it doesn't appear to be working as much as I suspected.

Hey Spaceception, I'm writing a story (Not a book I'm not that professional) about Kerbin becoming a rogue planet. Do you have any ideas I could use for my story?
-
Maybe you could put aliens in it who destabilize Jool, and slingshot Kerbin out of the Kerbol system, and the Kerbals have to make a generation ship to go to another solar system.
Or maybe their space exploration tech isn't good enough and you could write the psychological stress of dying, from like the POV from Val, Jeb, Bill, and Bob. (Although that would be pretty dark)
Or you could write about how they try to build a ship that could create a colony on one of the planets around Kerbol (No aliens, no unstable Jool's, just Kerbin suddenly becoming rogue).
It's your story in the end, so you could take some points from these, and turn it into your own, when you do, run with it

Whatever happened to KDS?
-
5/13/2017 - 1 year anniversery of somebody finding an electric pair of pants.
-
so i saw you 2016 topic of adding an ocean to duna, and i thought it could help me in my endeavors since i need to raise kerbin's sea level, and i think it would be related. could you tell me how you did it, if you can?
-
Do you have kopernicus?
What you want to do is add a vertex height offset to lower the terrain (the ocean will always be 0 elevation). This will make the planet slightly smaller, so if you want, you can increase the radius by the same amount you lower the terrain, but this will change the mass of the planet a bit unless you slightly lower surface gravity (since in KSP, surface gravity decreases at higher elevations).
For example: If you apply a vertex offset of 2km (lower terrain 2k), then increase kerbin's radius by 2km (which raises the ocean 2km), to have kerbin have the same mass, you need to set the surface gravity to be what it was on unmodified Kerbin at 2km high.
For my part, I wasn't worried by Duna's effective radius going from 320km to 319.25km.
Here's the file for Duna:

so i used to be pretty adamant that ksp wasn't getting a sequel
-
i'm now starting a remake of a certain old mod of mine.
(shh--i didn't say that out loud)
