  1. Still working on the update...hopefully I'll get it out by the end of the month.
  2. For the first problem: As I said before, the problem is with the normal map. You just need to convert it to the correct format (DXT5_nm) and it should work. Just export your planet maps using Kittopia. For the second problem: I believe the problem is with the PQS. Can I see your config?
  3. Nice moon you got there, @NickRoss120. My own moon, Cadium, orbits much farther in (about 95K km) much smaller (200 km radius), and has 0.7 gees of gravity.
  4. I do have a few tricks up my sleeve... Also, is there a deadline for this contest?
  5. I got the same problem when I was developing my planet pack. It's a problem with the normal map.
  6. Here you go: https://www.dropbox.com/s/mrkkxwn92qgeakr/Challenge_Planet_Pack.zip?dl=0
  7. So another bug I've been having is the planets in the map view don't line up with what's really on the surface (Hel and Nulleff). With a bit of Kittopia exporting, it looks a lot better, doesn't it?
  8. Congratulations on the release! But...I can't seem to access it
  9. Some more screenshots as we wait for the release of version 0.3 :
  10. Okay...the new Scatterer update seems to have broke my configs, so I'll have to rewrite them. :P

At least the sunflares are still working!

  11. @Cabbink I don't think I did the naming for your planets...credit @NickRoss120 for that. Also, nice job of the planet pack so far! Will definitely be checking on its progress in the future.
  12. So, @The White Guardian, how's Evolution coming along?
  13. So for the past few days I've been developing a new mod called 'Intergalactic', which overhauls the stock system and adds in new galaxies.

Here is a preview of it:

You can also go to my youtube channel, where I will occasionally post videos of how beta-testing is going. :)

  15. Actually I was able to use full KSS on 8 RAM...It just requires a lot of patience.
  16. 4 - Paste another copy of the original template.cfg anywhere in the gamedata folder 5 - In this file, edit the following lines: [snip] 6 - I haven't tested this, so it may not work 7 - I have now tested this, and it works 8 - SoI calculation may not work with this method 9 - You can easily set the sphereOfInfluence with a MM patch Does this method still work?
  17. My parents introduced me to Star Trek when they showed me TNG and TOS. And since then, I have been watching the other spin-offs (particularly DS9).
  18. Looks like a nice planet pack, @Tynton! I'm going to try it out now .
  19. You mean persistent.sfs? Here you go: https://www.dropbox.com/s/kuod8qt713r2pjv/persistent.sfs?dl=0
  20. I totally agree! I get the same problem. The log keeps spamming this: (Filename: Line: -1) NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object at WarpDrive.AlcubierreDrive.FixedUpdate () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 (Filename: Line: -1) IndexOutOfRangeException: Array index is out of range. at WarpDrive.Warpotron9000.DrawGUI (Int32 guiId) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at UnityEngine.GUILayout+LayoutedWindow.DoWindow (Int32 windowID) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at UnityEngine.GUI.CallWindowDelegate (UnityEngine.WindowFunction func, Int32 id, UnityEngine.GUISkin _skin, Int32 forceRect, Single width, Single height, UnityEngine.GUIStyle style) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0
  21. Compatibility is almost finished! Just waiting for scatterer to update and then we're good to go!
