  1. @5thHorsemanI really liked your Scavenger Contract pack
  2. Hello! Welcome to the forums! A few recommendations Try tutorials. Try sandbox before career. Youtube : Scott Manley Kerbals gain experience from Flybys, Flight (in planets with atmosphere), Orbit, Landing, and planting flags.
  3. Linux. Store. Haven't been able to run 64bit since 1.05
  4. It is for that reason alone that the Apollo pilots INSISTED that there was redundant ATTITUDE INDICATORS.
  5. Jettison stages?.... Where we are going we don't need jettisoned stages. https://kerbalx.com/mrchumley/Tweedership (not DAL59 either )
  6. I made a visit to Asclepius' moon Kruel. Here is an animated .gif of a kerbal doing a space walk on Kruel, But it kinda looks like he is on a mini Asclepius. o.O
  7. @SamBelanger Do you think that this challenge requires too many mods?
  8. Soo.. You are gonna dress in drag and ask her to coffee right? NSEP - Mountains are awesome! They look a lot different up close. And good luck with your passion ignition as well.
  9. Well, I've kind of been on a crusade to bring joy back into my life. Kerbal Space Program for me has been a refuge where I could go and pretend I was in far off places. The learning curve is steep, but the summit is always soo sweet. The joy of learning and creating shared freely around here. I try to be a part of that and help out newbies here and there whenever I can. Helping someone else finally make their first mun landing is pretty much as awesome as doing it the first time yourself! (while not being overbearing, patience is sometimes key I guess) Anyway, today I was helping out a person with wheel stability issues, and I realized that I knew this person from my childhood. This person was a victim of waaay long past bullying. I know because I was the bully. I don't know if I should bring it up, or what.. But I guess I just did. I don't know if an apology would be appropriate, but for what it is worth: I am sorry. I was motivated by fear of the exact ridicule that I was dishing out. I'm not going to name names or anything, and I'm not sure that this person realized who I was. I am just going to leave this here though. Peace and kindness.
  10. Asclepius is just 1 planet and a moon.
  11. I honestly believe that there is much yet to be discovered. Happy Halloween! I wrote a spooky poem: Flung out of a vortex of chaos Into a pit of despair There I sat in disrepair I flung out a line into the void Probably not pleasing, and made some -frankly annoyed- The beast that I caught that day was great I fought it yesterday, and tomorrow, It never got tired but was always abate Everything made sense, but there was nothing to relate It pulled me this way and that Contorting my understanding of the material mat I was taken out and put back in. Was that me laughing, or was that the gin? The world became smoke I tried to stand, but under my feet there wasn't no land the beast got away, and I let it go before it got out of hand But for some reason it came back, and gave me a hand onto land, and I was able to (under) stand (Ok now read it again, This time pretend that you are reading it from your perceived beasts perception)
  12. I just ran through the tutorial to see if there was anything weird. Aside from setting it up so that Rendezvous, and docking occurred on the night side with no lights (At least for me) everything seemed to work ok. There was a point were it switched the navball out of target mode, and made me click it back to complete the step. I was able to get it though...
  13. You can right click, and click "control from here" on docking ports and command pods, and probes. It will re-orient the NAV-ball to that part. There is also an option in settings to keep that persistent when entering IVA. You can also click the green text on the navball to switch from target/orbit/surface mode. The tutorial says to "click the velocimeter". I can see how that could be confusing.
  14. Currently my Jeb is bouncing around the Joolian system in a retrograde orbit. I'm seeing how little fuel I can use to gather up all the inspacehigh, and inspace low science. I managed to use Tylo to get a gravity assist into orbit. So far I have used up about 150 d/v with 4000d/v to spare. All I have left is Bop and Pol.
  15. The weird amospheric colors are because numbers in the ScaledVersion/Material/Gradient... colors don't work like you think they do here. Some "colors" work more like inverse colors.. (Not even sure if I'm explaining it right, because I'm not exactly sure) Hopefully someone else can come along and explain it better. And the slightly ghostly appearance of your planet can probably be solved be lowering the numbers in ScaledSpace/ fadeStart and fadeEnd. These numbers represent the altitude (in Km) at which scaled space is rendered, measured from the center of your planet.
  16. I came to share cake. The cake is made of noodles.
  17. The properties section of your CFG seems to have a couple unnecessary lines (mass, and sphereOfInfluence) they are automatically calculated according to radius, and geeASL lines. Here check this out: Scool.cfg Cool planet BTW
  18. The code for Sketti is kinda old and basically still a WIP, I made a Branch on Github Please feel free to contribute! If you load Sketti into an existing save, it might move some vessels into orbits of other planets. Some might disappear! I recommend starting a new save when loading Sketti in. Make backups of everything you value! Setorbit thinks that the minimum safe orbit is above its sphere of influence (I think), and MA goes into negative numbers, and stuff gets messed up. It did not play well with me when I was trying to cheat a little craft into orbit for the pics shown above. I was able to get an encounter and burn retro into orbit the old fashioned way though
  19. Both Asclepius, and Kronkus work in 1.3.1 with the latest Kopernicus (Currently Kopernicus v1.3.1-2) Ok. Here is a download that adds Sketti (back) into the Kronkus system. SkettiBack.zip <<Download, and merge contents into GameData/Kronkus folder. (requires: Kronkus, kopernicus, modulemanager) Fair Warning: Sketti violates Roche Limits Expect some unexpected behavior. Sketti doesn't like the setorbit cheat. Sketti might break saves. Enjoy
  20. Unfortunately I do not have the hardware necessary to run SVE, so I am unable to troubleshoot and/or offer any support for it. I have solicited for help before but no luck yet.
  21. Fun tidbits: Galaxy NGC 4993 is 40 Megaparsecs (~160 million light years) away... so that gravitational wave has been traveling towards us for a very long time. From Unity 2017.1.0f3 Release Notes Added: Custom vertex streams: And my personal favorite; New Donut emission particle: now im hungry
  22. I almost replied to that post but decided against it...
