Okiedokie guys, here's the deal. I just got internet back. Tomorrow is my Eagle Court of Honors, and I have to work all day to make that happen. And then tomorrow night, right after the ceremony I drive 4.5 hours west, spend the night, and then ride another 4.5 hours to Oklahoma. I will be there until at least Saturday. I will do my best to update the group before I leave, but I honestly can't promise that. I will try my best though! And in the case of me not being able to update it before I leave, it will definitely be the first thing I do when I get back. Welcome to all the new members, I'm not sure if the program will be able to tell me who all is new, so if not I sincerely welcome you into the group.

My favorite speed is NaN because typically if I encounter this speed it means I've had a date with destiny and the kraken.

Well, here's the problem. My internet has been down since the beginning of May. And the new program is waiting to be downloaded, and we have no internet. Posting this from my phone using my aunts internet. The second we get our internet back I'm running the program. Hang in there! At least you folks have the Internet to check this

Now just imagine if the group has stayed at 500 rep points like the LGG... We would be over 300 or more! Thanks to the program I think we will be fine at 1000 points, so don't be worried about being kicked off the list again.

I can confirm this. I'm not able to screenshot at this time but on chrome on my chromebook I see the post sticking past the window, even in fullscreen mode.

Yeah, you'll want to start turning when you hit about 100m/s. Maybe less. Gradually turn. You want to be about 20 degrees above horizon by about 20km, or so. Can change depending on rocket. Make small adjustments, never pull more than 5 degrees angle of attack. SRBs are mostly only for first stage, so I wouldn't recommend using them for anything except helping your first stage. Once you're about 45km up you should be pointing at the horizon, burning to put apoapsis up. Then circularize. Tweak from there if it doesn't work. If you're turning too fast and can't get apoapsis height, try starting your turn a little past 100m/s, and being more gradual. If you're still going very vertical, try less than 100m/s. It all depends on the player and the rocket.

I added your NYLT, not sure I wanna keep up with merit badges anymore since everyone will always be getting more badges and that will make more work for me. I might take everyone who's still in progress' merit badges off, and add them once they have either made eagle or quit, that way they won't change. I think that's what I'll do actually.

*takes a deep breath* All have been added! Congratulations guys! Glad to see so many scouts in this community! I'm also very excited that I made Eagle, we were really worried I wouldn't make it. We went from first look at paperwork, through project, to turning in paperwork in 4 weeks. Turned it in one day before I turned 18. Definitely cut it close, but I still made it. CoH will be in June sometime.

Well, I recently got a decent action camera, so I will have some better footage soon. While it shoots in 4K I don't see a reason to, will probably stick with 1080p 60fps for shooting, I could shoot 2k at 30fps but I like 60fps.

Yeah, the earliest forum kerfuffle I remember had to do with Zokesia. Then, after .23, every update there was "Why is this update taking so long? We used to get an update every 3-4 months!" I wasn't here in April of 2013, but that was a pretty big kerfuffle. There's also sad kerfuffles, like when @Rowsdower (and recently Dr Turkey too) left the position of Kommunity Manager.

He said they seemed really interested in what they were doing, and that they could always use recruits for the future.” replied Edlie. “No way! There is absolutely no way they can train Bob to fly a rocket. That’s much too dangerous!” “Actually he wouldn’t have to. There are many important positions in the space program that don’t require flying a rocket.” “Like what?” “Well, I don’t know all of them by heart, but most of the space program is the kerbals who build the rockets. The engineers who put everything together. And then there’s the people who help fly the rocket from the ground, the ones who make sure everything is going to plan. And let's not forget the scientists who discovered how to make rockets work, the ones who discovered how to get things into orbit around Kerbin, the ones who are always working on their next big discovery. Bob would be perfect for that, wouldn’t he?” “Well...I supposed he was always a little scientist.” “So will you let him go back? You showed some real interest in vhat ve are doing here the oyher day. As you may know, zhis program is new. Ve are alvays looking for new recruits, especially younger kerbal’s who show potential. You mean I could actually do stuff like that?” “Vell, vith training and vhen you’ve been taught all you need to know, yes.” Bob smiled bigger than he had in a long time. “So, what now?” Questioned Edlie. “Vell, I vas zhinking zhat zhey could be ze first ever cadets in the Kerbal Space Program Academy. All of our current staff, our engineers and scientists and pilots and such, came from different backgrounds. Our pilots vere just airplane pilots before, ve then drafted zhem and trained zhem to fly our rockets. I am one of ze few here who was trained for spaceflight exclusively. Ve vould like our future team to be trained entirely for ze space program. And it could all start vith you four.” Replied Wernher. “So you want them to go to school here? And be trained to be a part of the space program in the future?” “Precisely.” “Well, I’m not sure about anything yet, we would have to discuss things with their parents, as well as my wife. But, I can say, I am very interested in seeing my two kerbals enter the space academy. If they want to of course.” “Like that’s a question.” Jeb said, giggling. “Very vell, I suspected as much. Can ve arrange another meeting, zhis time with all parents present? Zhat way we can get right into enrollment if, of course, everyone agrees.” Asked Wernher. “Sure. Mine didn't fly. Mine used a C engine. The instructors were like "that's not an engine! That's a shotgun shell!" And wouldn't let me launch so we didn't lose it in the trees somewhere. Funily enough, it was rated for 975ft, and they launched two B engines to 1125.
