  1. Oh my. I can't believe I missed this! I will edit that in tomorrow. My mistake!
  2. Specs of 24" AOC Monitor 1920x1080 resolution, 24" diagonal screen size, TN, 5ms refresh rate (claimed) 60Hz. Viewing angle: 170° H x 160° V. 1 DVI, 1 VGA. Viewing angle: 178° H x 178° V. 1 DVI, 1 HDMI, 1 VGA. Has more reviews, 4.5/5 stars. Most reviews said it was a great monitor.
  3. There is already a large thread about agar.io, found here: wish voar.io would come back. :/
  4. As of now my favorite moon is Minmus. Easy enough to get there, plane change makes things interesting and gives a sense of accomplishment (not to mention ghost encounter bug) really easy to land, and low delta-v requirements. It is the lowest delta-v hungry landing mission possible, and easiest to control on landing. (for me. Sweet spot between gilly and overreaction and tylo and undereaction) The flats make landing even easier, and the many biomes+close proximity+Jetpack capability means you can net lots of science early game. Minmus is your friend. While it may lack in interesting terrain, do yourself a favor and try to construct a minmus slopes sled. It is hilarious. I suspect that later on, my new favorite might be Laythe, for the accomplishment, interesting landscape, atmosphere, and general coolness. But I haven't mastered getting there yet.
  5. Well. You click table. And add things into the table.
  6. Thanks! But, now another decision. For the same price, I can get a 21.5" IPS monitor, also 5ms refresh and 60Hz. Is the extra 2.5" worth non IPS? (Yes I actually do know what IPS does, just not entirely sure what to do here. Since refresh and Hz are the same I don't see a reason not to get IPS besides the size difference)
  7. Wait. What? I don't have that many stickies. The ones that are we're stuck because they were necessary (i.e. name change thread) my only sticky that wasn't like that was my stargazing thread. And it's not stuck anymore. TOTM thing.
  8. Gonna be honest, I have absolutely zero recollection of posting that. But that video would literally be months long. :/
  9. I managed to accidentally find a stunning forum feature. I'm sure some or most of you have found it, but I haven't seen anyone talk about it. Go to a subforum. Hover over the thread title. A preview appears! Except, you can scroll. It's the entire first post! And, even better, you can click "last post" to view the entirety of the last post in that thread! And it works with every thread title on that page! I for one find this as a very useful and convenient feature.
  10. Here is that monitor I was talking about. 24", 1920x1080, 5ms refresh, 60Hz. https://pcpartpicker.com/part/aoc-monitor-e2425swd Company is AOC. Anyone have experience with them?
  11. There is one, 24" 1080p for $99 but I hadn't heard of the brand so I was hesitant. I don't have a link at the moment, but I think it was AOE or something like that. I'll figure it out tomorrow.
  12. Well, KSP will be played on it, but I also will be using it for other games, lots of other games, as well as video editing and 3d rendering. The fx-6300 seemed like a better option, especially overclocked to 4GHz. (The fx-6350, the "new" version, is just a factory overclocked fx-6300 .-. ) I was able to save money on case, memory, storage, and PSU, while gaining more internal space in the case, and a bigger PSU. Any recommendations on good monitors? It has to be $100 or less, 1080p, and preferably over 21". Thanks!
  13. Ok, so. A few months ago you guys helped me put together a ~$500 gaming build. Well, I've been fine tuning it, and today I gave it an overhaul. Unfortunately I still don't have the money, but I will soon. I got a job and will most likely work out a deal with my dad to where he gets my laptop and then pays for half of my new computer. Anyways, I wanted to see what you guys thought. How much of an improvement is the second build over the first? It's almost the exact same price, with, as far as I can tell, much better performance. I will probably be adding a $100 monitor to it, so it will be more, but that would've been the same either way. First build, $571 = http://pcpartpicker.com/p/sxXfqs Second build, $582 = http://pcpartpicker.com/p/WwBN3C How did I do?
  14. Very nice to read. A very interesting "What if?" proposal. I do not believe it would have been possible, but the whole proposal is pretty amazing. Were they to make a Hollywood movie about it, I fear people would get the wrong idea that it was actually possible, and begin to wonder why NASA didn't try it. (Assuming they don't know that NASA had already made a larger mistake in not addressing the foam strike in the first place) Nevertheless, I would watch that movie many, many times. I watch Apollo 13, Space Cowboys, Astronaut Farmer, and Race to Space as much as I can stand, and will continue to do that with Gravity and Interstellar, regardless of their inaccuracies. Space is what I plan to live my life for, and any movie having to do with space exploration in the feasible, similar, or realistic sense (With the exception of Interstellar, that's just a great movie with some space things in it. And a shiny black hole. ) is absolutely amazing to me. I would watch any movie about the NASA program, in any aspect of it, or other space programs as well. If they managed to mix a Hollywood movie with actual history in the rocketry world, they would for sure have my money. Now time for a question. Does anyone know of any other great movies about space exploration? Even good documentaries? I wanna watch as much as I can. As well as articles, any articles like the one mentioned above I love to read. Can anykerbal help me out?
  15. Yep. Age limit is 18, license and insurance required (obviously) and no beard.
  16. Its a pinch over minimum wage in the US, but it's for easy work. Answer the phone, take orders, throw cheese and pepperoni on some dough. When I start driving when I turn 18 I'll be making a bit more hourly, plus tips, plus gas reimbursement.
  17. Well, tomorrow is my first day at Papa John's. This is my first job, and I'm excited. No it's not super well paying, but it's a job for a high school student. I'll likely work 4 days a week, amassing ~20 hours per week if I'm lucky. Wish me luck!
  18. Well, I mean, the animal was known for "Ripping apart ships" We pretty much stole that too Although we gave it more than what we started with, since the actual bug was fixed we deemed anything that was wonky physics as "The Kraken"
  19. Well...not really. You would then have 2 2 axis sticks. Which is worse than what I have now. You would have the triggers, but I still don't see how that would be better. Hmm...
  20. But where the RCS bursts as powerful as they are in game? In game they're super twitchy if your craft isn't lacking on control.
  21. Well when you have fine controls on the RCS slowly thrusts more and more, so I would assume you can hook it up to an axis. If not, there's probably a mod somewhere for it.
  22. There is a trigger on the back. Honestly though I care more about translation than rotation, I would ideally want all 3 translation axis's as axis, not buttons. I typically use buttons for rotation anyways, so sacrificing one rotation axis is definitely a possibility.
  23. You can have up to like 32 different joysticks in KSP now. And there are primary and secondary bindings as well.
  24. Any idea of how to turn my two joysticks into workable docking controllers?
