  1. @Just Jim I usually try to include something you've done on the forum in your description. I find the member, and go to topics started by them. Usually they are either a modder, writer, or builder, and I pick either the most popular or the coolest to me and I put it in the description so more people can find it. if you want yours change I can certainly do that though
  2. OH! Also, as always, if you have any complaints about your description, or want something added/removed, feel free to PM me. I do my best to come up with cool creative descriptions, but sometimes they're pretty bad, so if you have a better idea or request, just let me know!
  3. I take back my previous statement! Through some moderator magic and some @magico13 magic I can now properly honor those who joined the group since the last update. A very special congratulations to everyone I'm about to mention for passing the 1000 reputation mark since the previous update! In no particular order: @Just Jim, @Snark, @Cydonian Monk, @Angel-125, @Kerbart, @selfish_meme, @Jolly_Roger, @tater, @Starhawk, @John FX, @worir4, @Randazzo, @KSK, @razark, @sumghai, @magico13, @Nibb31, and @Wanderfound. Congrats everyone! Also a special thanks to @DuoDex and @Red Iron Crown for making this possible by working some moderator magic, and to @magico13 again for adding even more functionality to the program.
  4. It has been done! The list is fully updated, and every single one on there has a description! It's a miracle I know A very special welcome to all the member who joined the group since the last update! I wasn't able to catch all of your names (the old list got corrupted and silly me deleted the list on the front page before realizing I needed it) but next time the program will tell me exactly who joined since the last time the list was updated. Also, it appears this is my 2,500th post! I was gonna post a thread about that...darn. Missed it maybe at 3,000.
  5. @Just Jim I do hope you like the description I'm going to give you....
  6. We got it done! Project is done, working on paperwork now.
  7. Guess what! Doing my Eagle Project tomorrow! I've nearly ran out of time, I only have until April 15th to get everything done! But I'm working super fast and super hard, all should work out. Wish me luck!
  8. Still having issues, even with the new program. It seems somehow my descriptions file has been corrupted. Losing those is the last thing I need, so I'm working on copying the contents and debugging to see if there is any one issue with it.
  9. I play a lot of League of Legends, Lots of Live for Speed and DiRT 3, some Brawlhalla with friends, Tekkit Lite, and Skyrim.
  10. Oh yeah. I forgot about that. XD Banned for not pointing this out to me sooner! Both of you!
  11. Well on this forum it takes 25 default posts per page, the old one only took ten. Doubt it will happen.
  12. My favorite part is the ELi designation. Extra Long series, gas engines. (BMW vehicle designations end with i if they run on gas, like 330i and such) It's really cool that they fit his name into it like that Also 4219 is 42 wheels 19 engines. So the designation speaks for itself.
  13. I've fallen in love with joysticks too. I started with a Microsoft Sidewinder, and now I have that plus 2 Logitech Extrene3D pros. I plan on using the two 3d's for dual hand docking soon.
  14. Yeah, the image caption is a bit misleading. But my dad has driven a truck since 1999, when I was 11 months old, and I've been riding with him since 1999, when I was 11 months old. The car is very much wide, if you notice how much the back section sticks out from the door, the front sticks out just as much. Who needs traction control when you have 42-wheel drive? Also, remember, this is a concept that was imagined by a four year old. BMW just took it a step further and designed a concept for him. I'm sure they didn't consider possibility of actually making it when they rendered the concept.
  15. That would break the "All engines routed through one transmission" requirement wouldn't it? Or am I misunderstanding?
  16. Not three per axle, 6 per axle, 3 on each side. Semi trucks and trailers already do this with four per axle. It's not much different than one wheel, they're pretty much just one big wheel. They're bolted together. They're just like that so if you lose one tire there's always another on that side to hold it up. For the BMW it would just be about having more tire to grip the road with. The three wheels on each side would be locked together and would function as one very wide tire pretty much. As for 19 engines, I've actually been brainstorming a way this could work. As well as the transmission. As long as all engines are kept at the same RPM as each other engine, it could totally work. I'll think on it some more and post my brainstorm later.
  17. I would assume a computer would be involved, and that none of the steering wheels would be directly hooked up to the steering. Some sort of program to average the inputs of whichever steering wheels are active. Of course it won't be produced, I was asking about building one and only one. Just as a engineering challenge.
  18. The BMW 4219ELi is a BMW concept car that was designed purely per request of a four year old named Eli. A picture is linked below. It has 19 Porsche engines, each producing 459BHP. It has 7 Axles, each with six wheels. It has all wheel drive, and all of the engines are hooked up to one transmission. My question is, would it be physically possible to build it today? Or in the near future? The most obvious problem is routing over 8000BHP from 19 different sources into one transmission. The next biggest problem is transferring power from that transmission to all 7 axles somewhat evenly. Steering would be a bit of a problem, although I suspect the car would never be thought of as a nimble one. I would assume the front three axles would all steer. Fuel use would be absolutely nuts. Oh and I forgot the last part of Eli's request, that there be three steering wheels and three people can drive it at once. (methinks Eli watched The Cat in the Hat before dreaming up this car) Well, what do you guys think? Possible? Near future? Far future? I think it would be an awesome project and engineering feat. Pointless? Maybe. But it would make Eli very happy, and would be a very fun and tough project for BMW engineers.
  19. Oh. In my post about it I said to use it for your current rep. I guess listen to him.
  20. @Dman979, better update that sig picture! You've passed 700, which would've been two light green bars.
  21. There most certainly is. @magico13 made a new version of the list generator, written it in python this time, both of ours native language. So now things should be smoother, I'll see about updating tonight.
  22. That would be awesome. Looking forward too it. Just had a mind blowing idea.....what if it could be implemented into the game like the new KSPedia? That would be so awesome!
