  1. I'm planning to do what it's already being done with attachment nodes: scale it to the nearest size. Obviously, subject to further considerations. No, you concluded wrongly. By analysing your KSP.log, I found that TweakScale patched the part only once. The problem is that you have a deprecated add'on installed, remove GameData/TweakScaleMakingHistoryConfigs and things will be fine: [LOG 00:54:57.329] Applying update TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs/Coupling/@PART[Decoupler_1p5] to SquadExpansion/MakingHistory/Parts/Coupling/Decoupler_1p5.cfg/PART[Decoupler_1p5] Yes, it's "possible". But this was what cause so much trouble in 2019 on. my first year of tenure on TweakScale, so I won't do it. (and that's final). Double patching is terrible, it leads to confusions both on TweakScale as with KSP itself, as some PartModules doesn't cope too well with reindexings on the this.part.Modules, what can screw you whatever you use the affected parts or not. I had to deactivate features from TweakScale due this. So, in a nutshell: had I been allowing it, you would be using deprecated and unreliable patching with patches that are missing new attributes being added to parts since KSP 1.7 or 1.6 - not to mention possible misbehaviours on 3rd parties or KSP as explained by the issue I linked above. As a personal note, if you can live without some broken parts, my best suggestion is to remove them from the game instead of risking contaminating your gaming with problems that may or may not lead to game corruption by things beyound our control. Lots and lots of people had lost their savegames in the past because of this. note to myself: https://github.com/KSP-CKAN/NetKAN/pull/9544
  2. You have the deprecated TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs installed: [LOG 16:33:20.500] Config(@PART[ServiceModule18]) TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs/Payload/@PART[ServiceModule18] It's some years since TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs was available for downloading - it was internalised and updated on TweakScale since them. Remove the directory GameData/TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs and you will be fine. Cheers!
  3. Yeah, tons and tons of NRE on the Sanity Checks. This happens when you install a 4rd party add'on that is broken. That's the thing: when KSP startups, it builts a thingy called "prefab" that it's a database with the full data of every part. In order to build that database, evert PartModule is called for evert Part at startup. However, if a PartModule borks it's job on this phase, it corrupts the process for this part because KSP breaks the chain and don't call the PartModules that are on the queue for that part. This explains the huge amount of exceptions like this one: [LOG 15:03:20.544] PartLoader: Part 'UmbraSpaceIndustries/MKS/Parts/LightGlobe/MKS_LightGlobe' has no database record. Creating. [LOG 15:03:20.545] [DragCubeSystem]: Drag cubes not found or cannot be read for part Part. Generating New drag cubes. [LOG 15:03:20.551] DragCubeSystem: Creating drag cubes for part 'MKS.LightGlobe' [EXC 15:03:20.554] NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object ModuleDeployablePart.AssumeDragCubePosition (System.String name) (at <cd473063d3a2482f8d93d388d0c95035>:0) DragCubeSystem+<RenderDragCubes>d__34.MoveNext () (at <cd473063d3a2482f8d93d388d0c95035>:0) UnityEngine.SetupCoroutine.InvokeMoveNext (System.Collections.IEnumerator enumerator, System.IntPtr returnValueAddress) (at <12e76cd50cc64cf19 e759e981cb725af>:0) UnityEngine.DebugLogHandler:LogException(Exception, Object) ModuleManager.UnityLogHandle.InterceptLogHandler:LogException(Exception, Object) UnityEngine.MonoBehaviour:StartCoroutine(IEnumerator) <RenderDragCubesCoroutine>d__31:MoveNext() UnityEngine.MonoBehaviour:StartCoroutine(IEnumerator) <SetupDragCubeCoroutine>d__46:MoveNext() UnityEngine.MonoBehaviour:StartCoroutine(IEnumerator) <CompileParts>d__56:MoveNext() UnityEngine.SetupCoroutine:InvokeMoveNext(IEnumerator, IntPtr) Do you see? TweakScale is not the only victim of these problems. There's no way to fix these ones but to hunt and remove the add'on that it's borking. Additionally, I found a lot of Sanity Check exceptions that suggests you are using pretty dated versions of some 4rd party add'ons: [LOG 15:05:20.659] [TweakScale] ERROR: **FATAL** Part Tube2 (T-25 Structural Tube) has a fatal problem due having duplicated properties - see issue [#34]( https://github.com/net-lisias-ksp/TweakScale/issues/34 ). at error:0 [LOG 15:05:20.660] [TweakScale] ERROR: **FATAL** Part Tube3 (T-37 Structural Tube) has a fatal problem due having duplicated properties - see issue [#34]( https://github.com/net-lisias-ksp/TweakScale/issues/34 ). at error:0 [LOG 15:05:20.660] [TweakScale] ERROR: **FATAL** Part Tube4 (T-50 Structural Tube) has a fatal problem due having duplicated properties - see issue [#34]( https://github.com/net-lisias-ksp/TweakScale/issues/34 ). at error:0 Hunting for the troublemaker the patching process will pinpoint the culprit: [LOG 15:01:05.792] Config(@PART[Tube2]:NEEDS[SquadExpansion]) KerbalHealth/Patches/KHMakingHistory/@PART[Tube2]:NEEDS[SquadExpansion] [LOG 15:01:05.929] Config(@PART[Tube2]:HAS[~RestockIgnore[*]]:FOR[000_ReStock]) ReStock/PatchesMH/Structural/restock-mh-tubes/@PART[Tube2]:HAS[~RestockIgnore[*]]:FOR[000_ReStock] [LOG 15:01:05.981] Config(PART) SquadExpansion/MakingHistory/Parts/Structural/Tube2/Tube2 [LOG 15:01:06.066] Config(@PART[Tube2]:NEEDS[SquadExpansion,TweakScale]) TweakScale/patches/SquadExpansion/MakingHistory/Structural/@PART[Tube2]:NEEDS[SquadExpansion,TweakScale] [LOG 15:01:06.074] Config(@PART[Tube2]) TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs/Structural/@PART[Tube2] [LOG 14:59:11.892] Applying update 999_KSP-Recall/patches/refunding/@PART[*]:HAS[!MODULE[ModuleAsteroid],!MODULE[ModuleComet],!MODULE[KerbalEVA]]:NEEDS[KSPRECALL-REFUNDING] to SquadExpansion/MakingHistory/Parts/Structural/Tube2.cfg/PART[Tube2] [LOG 14:59:12.941] Applying update KerbalHealth/Patches/KHMakingHistory/@PART[Tube2]:NEEDS[SquadExpansion] to SquadExpansion/MakingHistory/Parts/Structural/Tube2.cfg/PART[Tube2] [LOG 14:59:27.031] Applying update TweakScale/patches/SquadExpansion/MakingHistory/Structural/@PART[Tube2]:NEEDS[SquadExpansion,TweakScale] to SquadExpansion/MakingHistory/Parts/Structural/Tube2.cfg/PART[Tube2] [LOG 14:59:27.516] Applying update TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs/Structural/@PART[Tube2] to SquadExpansion/MakingHistory/Parts/Structural/Tube2.cfg/PART[Tube2] [LOG 14:59:29.889] Applying update UmbraSpaceIndustries/MKS/Patches/ScrapParts/@PART[*]:HAS[!MODULE[FlagSite],!MODULE[KerbalEVA]] to SquadExpansion/MakingHistory/Parts/Structural/Tube2.cfg/PART[Tube2] [LOG 14:59:37.440] Applying update ReStock/PatchesMH/Structural/restock-mh-tubes/@PART[Tube2]:HAS[~RestockIgnore[*]]:FOR[000_ReStock] to SquadExpansion/MakingHistory/Parts/Structural/Tube2.cfg/PART[Tube2] [LOG 14:59:58.509] Applying update InterstellarFuelSwitch/PatchManager/ActiveMMPatches/IntegratedDecoupler/@PART[*]:FINAL to SquadExpansion/MakingHistory/Parts/Structural/Tube2.cfg/PART[Tube2] [LOG 15:00:01.119] Applying update WarpPlugin/Patches/OreTanksFix/@PART[*]:FINAL to SquadExpansion/MakingHistory/Parts/Structural/Tube2.cfg/PART[Tube2] [LOG 15:02:59.222] PartLoader: Compiling Part 'SquadExpansion/MakingHistory/Parts/Structural/Tube2/Tube2' [LOG 15:02:59.263] PartLoader: Part 'SquadExpansion/MakingHistory/Parts/Structural/Tube2/Tube2' has no database record. You still having this oldie lingering around suggests that you are updating your older KSP to 1.12.2 right now (it's already years since I'm dealing with TweakScaleMakingHistoryConfigs), what also suggests you are using pretty dated versions of add'ons, and inspecting some of them I found some that stopped working since KSP 1.7.3. I'm sorry but I'm afraid you should create a new KSP 1.12.2 installment using only the most recent versions of the add'ons you want that are certified to work on KSP 1.12.2. I hope you had a backup of the previous KSP installment before updating to 1.12.2. In a way or another, do not load any savegames without creating a backup of them first. Good luck!
  4. Thank you very much for your help @Lisias in finding the culprit. It fixed it! Only thing now is it says it found 6 parts which failed a sanity check, but I assume that has already been looked in to and shouldn't cause any concern. I like that you are also going to mark the "TweakScaleMakingHistoryConfigs" as conflicting in CKAN, it would surely help preventing others from making the same mistake as I did. Thanks again
  5. UGH! Yeah, these are the nasty ones. [LOG 16:58:15.753] [TweakScale] ERROR: **FATAL** Part Decoupler.1p5 (TD-18 Decoupler) has a fatal problem due having duplicated properties - see issue [#34]( https://github.com/net-lisias-ksp/TweakScale/issues/34 (and some more) [LOG 16:58:15.770] [TweakScale] INFO: TweakScale::WriteDryCost: Concluded : 0 checks failed ; 0 parts with issues overruled ; 51 Show Stoppers found; 9 Sanity Check failed; These are the lines for one of the problematic parts, Triangle1p5 : ScrapYard, TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs (what is this?), Kopernicus and SMURFF - besides TweakScale itself - are patching this part. I don't know what's TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs but by it's name, apparently it's intrinsically incompatible with TweakScale. You are suffering from the problem described on the issue #34. And I'm guessing that by fixing this part, most if not all of the other ones will be fixed too. However… Any savegames you have already started and is using any of that 51 parts will need some care. NOW. I need that you send me your Module Manager cache files (mandatory, or I will not be able to see exactly what's going on on your game installment). And can you tell me where that TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs is available for downloading? I need to eye ball it. — — — — POST EDIT — — — I ruled out everything but TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs . So this is the only possible offending patch remaining. I also didn't found it on the Net, apparently it was once on SpaceDock but the only link I found to it leaded to a 404. So, unfortunately, you are orphaned on it - as I can't reach the Maintainer to propose patches that would fix the problem to you. Theoretically, deleting the TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs would fix things. But these patches are being applied after TweakScale, so they are the duplicates and my tests tells me that the second copy are the ones used by KSP. If the figures this Add'On uses are the same as I use, no harm is done. But only one thing that differs, and you are susceptible to that situations depicted on the Issue #34 - including crafts that are flying! (nasty consequences). So I advise to you to use S.A.V.E., backup your savegames, then shutdown KSP and delete TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs and them fire KSP again and check every single flying craft. Anything wrong, restore the backups and call me here so I can hand make a patch to keep your game working safely. — This problem is also being tracked on Issue #63.
  6. Wow! 69 FATALities. Almost as bad as one installment of mine, that got 172. [LOG 09:10:25.892] [TweakScale] INFO: WriteDryCost Concluded : 2443 parts found ; 0 checks failed ; 0 parts with hotfixes ; 0 parts with issues overruled ; 69 Show Stoppers found; 9 Sanity Check failed; 1065 unscalable parts. On the bright side, you have only 9 Sanity fails, and these 9 are due lack of proper support - no worries, these will be tacked down soon. That 1065 unscalable parts are parts without TweakScale (including that 9), from a pool of 2443 parts on the GameDatabase. This is just informational, so you know that about 43% of your inventory is not scalable. All that "truss" problems are old news. It's Contares. And the latest TweakScale has already the HotFix on the distribution file. TL;DR: Contares problems can be fixed are follows: Download (click on the Raw button) or extract from the distribution file the TweakScale/Extras/TweakScale/HotFixes/Contares--TweakScale.cfg file. Move it into some place on your KSP installment. Be sure to remember where, as you would want to delete it once the Add'Ons maintainers fix the problem. I suggest to use GameData/__LOCAL/TweakScale/HotFixes/ Every time you update Contares, you will need to check if this HotFix is still needed. HotFixes brute force their way into the GameDatabase, and if Contares make any fix on it patches, they will be trashed in favor of the HotFix. Well, this solves 18 issues at once. Now let's check the others. Let's check Decoupler_1p5. [LOG 08:53:42.020] Applying update TweakScale/patches/SquadExpansion/MakingHistory/Coupling/@PART[Decoupler_1p5] to SquadExpansion/MakingHistory/Parts/Coupling/Decoupler_1p5.cfg/PART[Decoupler_1p5] [LOG 08:53:43.334] Applying update TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs/Coupling/@PART[Decoupler_1p5] to SquadExpansion/MakingHistory/Parts/Coupling/Decoupler_1p5.cfg/PART[Decoupler_1p5] [LOG 08:53:51.497] Applying update EngineLight/decoupler-configs/@PART[*]:HAS[@MODULE[Module*Decouple*]]:FOR[EngineLight] to SquadExpansion/MakingHistory/Parts/Coupling/Decoupler_1p5.cfg/PART[Decoupler_1p5] [LOG 08:54:36.089] Applying update Kopernicus/Config/SolarPanels/@PART:FINAL to SquadExpansion/MakingHistory/Parts/Coupling/Decoupler_1p5.cfg/PART[Decoupler_1p5] Well… There's a lot of people patching Decoupler_1p5. This i not necessarily bad, as only double patching TweakScale is surely known to lead to problems. So we have to inspect every patch, what is a but worksome. I will try to cut some work by inspecting the ConfigCache instead, with luck I can trace the source of the double patching inspecting the part directly: UrlConfig { parentUrl = SquadExpansion/MakingHistory/Parts/Coupling/Decoupler_1p5.cfg PART { name = Decoupler_1p5 <CUT> MODULE { name = TweakScale type = stack defaultScale = 1.875 scaleFactors = 0.1, 0.3, 0.625, 1.25, 1.875, 2.5, 3.75, 5.0, 7.5, 10, 20 incrementSlide = 0.01, 0.025, 0.025, 0.025, 0.025, 0.05, 0.05, 0.1, 0.1, 0.2 type = stack defaultScale = 1.875 scaleFactors = 0.1, 0.3, 0.625, 1.25, 1.875, 2.5, 3.75, 5.0, 7.5, 10, 20 incrementSlide = 0.01, 0.025, 0.025, 0.025, 0.025, 0.05, 0.05, 0.1, 0.1, 0.2 TWEAKSCALEEXPONENTS { name = TweakScale DryCost = 0.5 mass = 2 } } MODULE { name = TweakScale TWEAKSCALEEXPONENTS { name = TweakScale DryCost = 0.5 mass = 2 } } MY GOD!! It's full of double patches!!!! Well… Congrats. This is the worst patching I ever saw. There's at least THREE guys shoving patches into this part, one of them is TweakScale default patches. On the bright side, this is one of the benign kind of rogue patching - everybody is shoving the same data into the part, so don't reaaly matter what the datum being used. At least that. The first and obvious one is TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs (and yeah, an illustrious unknown). Delete GameDatabase/TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs . I Don't know what is it, and who is still recommending to use it, and frankly, by this time, I strongly recommend to avoid using anything from someone that still tells you to use this thing for the following reasons: It's not available anywhere, I can't find a source for downloading it. So I can't inspect it. I don't have a clue about what is this stunt! So it doesn`t complies with Forum Rules for Add`Ons It's almost a year that TweakScale actively supports Making History from the default installation files. It's long the time this thing were necessary. I once found a download link from Spacedock, but that entry was deleted from the site. Don't have a clue when. I'm pretty sure there was a time that this patch was needed. But it's way long in the past already. We found one, two more to go. Let's check EngineLight. Simple mod (nice one!!!), and its patches doesn't touches TweakScale. INNOCENT #ghostRiderFeelings. Now let's see Kopernicus. I failed to understand why this is patching a Decoupler, but since this doesn't touch TweakScale neither, it's not the problem. Well, I ran out of suspects. Only TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs appears to be playing a role on this. Since I counted 60 entries on the FATALities mentioning it, I'm pretty sure that by bluntly deleting GameData/TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs your installment should be fine. If anything bad still remains, publish the new KSP.log and ModuleManager.ConfigCache here and I will look on it.! Scale Safe! Uh… I think I didn't explained correctly how to write the patch. Sorry. @PART[S2Structural]:FINAL { -MODULE[TweakScale],* { } } Get rid of the < and > . It was meant to denote something not literal - but sometimes I forget most people here are not techie guys, and from the ones that are, most of them are not die hard UNIX freaks as me (where I got used to this notation). I will fix the original post too. UUGH… I also forgot an opening brace!! (the first one below :FINAL). Sorry!

However… I know these 51 parts, this had happen before! And looking for the right substring on your log, I found 51 instances of this log line: [LOG 09:22:10.606] Config(@PART[Decoupler_1p5]) TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs/Coupling/@PART[Decoupler_1p5] [LOG 09:22:10.606] Config(@PART[Decoupler_4]) TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs/Coupling/@PART[Decoupler_4] <49 more> So yeah. TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs strikes again. Delete GameData/TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs and everything will be fine. If you are using CKAN, make sure to uninstall it from there, so CKAN don't install it back. Welcome! Me too!
  8. @Lisias Looks like, while is frozen, one can still download it using CKAN Ckan meta: https://github.com/KSP-CKAN/CKAN-meta/blob/master/TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs/TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs-1.0e.ckan it doesn't show in Spacedock.info, but CKAN can still download it from there (I've just tested here and it does install correctly in the ominous GameData/TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs folder) Now, I've never used CKAN before apart for some quick testing, but if the frozen status/file means CKAN shouldn't download/list the mod, it seems it isn't working, at least not for that particular mod/patch
  9. I need the KSP.log to check it. It's on the same place where the .EXE is . Click the icon you use to launch KSP with the right click, select "locate the original" or something (long time since I used windows!). The KSP.log should be visible there together the .EXE That simplify things. Removing TweakScale "prevents" the crime by eliminating the victim from the crime scene. It works if you don't mind not using TweakScale. All Tweak patch is well behaving. It only adds the patch when no other one had patched it first. So we can conclude, with a very reasonable degree of confidence, that there're someone else borking on this one. Well, let's check the victims: [LOG 22:02:24.429] [TweakScale] ERROR: **FATAL** Part kv1Pod (KV-1 'Onion' Reentry Module) has a fatal problem due having duplicated properties - see issue [#34]( https://github.com/net-lisias-ksp/TweakScale/issues/34 ). Sounds easy but… Dude, what a installment you have! There're 36 different patches being applied to the Onion Reentry Module! Well, there're "only" 12 on the heat shield, let's try it first: [LOG 21:50:42.991] Applying update BuoyancyControl/BuoyancyControl/@PART[*] to SquadExpansion/MakingHistory/Parts/Thermal/HeatShield1p5.cfg/PART[HeatShield1p5] [LOG 21:50:45.602] Applying update CollisionFXUpdated/ModuleManager_CollisionFX/@PART[*]:HAS[!MODULE[ModuleWheelBase],!MODULE[KSPWheelBase],!MODULE[KerbalEVA],!MODULE[CollisionFX],!MODULE[FSwheel],!MODULE[FSwheelAlignment],!MODULE[BDAdjustableLandingGear],!MODULE[TTModularWheel],!MODULE[Repulsor],!MODULE[ModuleTrack],!MODULE[TrackWheel],!MODULE[KFModuleWheel],!MODULE[KFWheel],!MODULE[KFTrackSurface]] to SquadExpansion/MakingHistory/Parts/Thermal/HeatShield1p5.cfg/PART[HeatShield1p5] [LOG 21:50:52.607] Applying update CriticalTemperatureGauge/Plugins/CriticalTemperatureGauge/@PART[*] to SquadExpansion/MakingHistory/Parts/Thermal/HeatShield1p5.cfg/PART[HeatShield1p5] [LOG 21:52:32.347] Applying update TweakScale/patches/SquadExpansion/MakingHistory/Thermal/@PART[HeatShield1p5] to SquadExpansion/MakingHistory/Parts/Thermal/HeatShield1p5.cfg/PART[HeatShield1p5] [LOG 21:52:33.776] Applying update TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs/Thermal/@PART[HeatShield1p5] to SquadExpansion/MakingHistory/Parts/Thermal/HeatShield1p5.cfg/PART[HeatShield1p5] [LOG 21:52:49.998] Applying update DeadlyReentry/DeadlyReentry/@PART[*]:HAS[@MODULE[ModuleAblator]]:AFTER[DeadlyReentry] to SquadExpansion/MakingHistory/Parts/Thermal/HeatShield1p5.cfg/PART[HeatShield1p5] [LOG 21:52:50.621] Applying update DecouplerShroud/DecouplerShroud/@PART[*]:FOR[DecouplerShroud]:HAS[@MODULE[ModuleDecouple],!MODULE[ModuleDecouplerShroud]] to SquadExpansion/MakingHistory/Parts/Thermal/HeatShield1p5.cfg/PART[HeatShield1p5] [LOG 21:52:52.752] Applying update EngineLightRelit/MM_Configs/decoupler-configs/@PART[*]:HAS[@MODULE[Module*Decouple*]]:FOR[EngineLight] to SquadExpansion/MakingHistory/Parts/Thermal/HeatShield1p5.cfg/PART[HeatShield1p5] [LOG 21:53:51.632] Applying update UnKerballedStart/Mod Support/MakingHistory/@PART[HeatShield1p5]:NEEDS[CommunityTechTree,SquadExpansion]:FOR[zzzUnKerballedStart] to SquadExpansion/MakingHistory/Parts/Thermal/HeatShield1p5.cfg/PART[HeatShield1p5] [LOG 21:53:58.628] Applying update DeadlyReentry/DeadlyReentry/@PART[*]:HAS[!MODULE[ModuleAeroReentry],#leaveTemp[*]]:FINAL to SquadExpansion/MakingHistory/Parts/Thermal/HeatShield1p5.cfg/PART[HeatShield1p5] [LOG 21:53:59.951] Applying update InterstellarFuelSwitch/PatchManager/ActiveMMPatches/IntegratedDecoupler/@PART[*]:FINAL to SquadExpansion/MakingHistory/Parts/Thermal/HeatShield1p5.cfg/PART[HeatShield1p5] [LOG 21:54:02.506] Applying update Kopernicus/Config/SolarPanels/@PART:FINAL to SquadExpansion/MakingHistory/Parts/Thermal/HeatShield1p5.cfg/PART[HeatShield1p5] And from that, we have a "Winner"! TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs is an illustrious unknown already: I don't have a clue about what/who/where this thing are/came, but every time it's mentioned on the KSP.log, it is the perpetrator. Bluntly delete GameData/TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs and everything will be fine. Scale Safe!
  10. The problems happens when you use the parts. But with 51 parts to be worry about, you end up using them sooner or later. BUT… In your case, you are really fine: [LOG 23:33:12.800] Load(Model): Squad/Parts/Coupling/Assets/Decoupler_1p5 [LOG 23:33:31.239] Config(@PART[Decoupler_1p5]:FOR[DecouplerShroud]:NEEDS[SquadExpansion]) DecouplerShroud/Patches/SquadExpansionPatches/@PART[Decoupler_1p5]:FOR[DecouplerShroud]:NEEDS[SquadExpansion] [LOG 23:33:31.313] Config(@PART[Decoupler_1p5]) ReStock/PatchesMH/Coupling/restock-mh-decouplers/@PART[Decoupler_1p5] [LOG 23:33:31.335] Config(PART) SquadExpansion/MakingHistory/Parts/Coupling/Decoupler_1p5/Decoupler_1p5 [LOG 23:33:31.374] Config(@PART[Decoupler_1p5]) TweakScale/patches/SquadExpansion/MakingHistory/Coupling/@PART[Decoupler_1p5] [LOG 23:33:31.375] Config(@PART[Decoupler_1p5]) TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs/Coupling/@PART[Decoupler_1p5] It's that TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs again . Delete GameData/TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs and everything will be fine. The last fellow Kerbonaut that had this issue told me that deleting this didn't caused any side effect. I still don't know what this thing is. Well, I think I do - it appears to be patches for Making History parts. The part count fits, at least. I just don't know from where.
  11. I could not agree less. The main reason for RO problems with TweakScale is RO bad patches. RO fix their patches, problems go away - people using RO had reached me in private asking me how to fix RO patches, since the RO guys said they don't support TweakScale, besides having a lot of bad patches on the distribution. The root cause for this is you not following Maintainers advices. RO guys don't support TweakScale, and I already have my hands full supporting Add'Ons that support TweakScale. What I gladly do creating Pull Requests when the license terms are acceptable and the Maintainer are kind enough to accept the contribution. This is the same as trying to cure Malarya with antipyretics. And this doesn't covers manual installing. This is shoving on my … shoulder the burden to fix things did by third parties. It's unfair and unfeasible to expect that an Add'On Maintainer to be responsible for the (bad) behaviour misbehaviours from third parties. [snip] I just checked the NetKAN file for TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs: { "spec_version": "v1.4", "identifier": "TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs", "$kref": "#/ckan/spacedock/1806", "license": "WTFPL", "x_via": "Automated SpaceDock CKAN submission", "depends": [ { "name": "TweakScale" }, { "name": "MakingHistory-DLC" } ] } No Author informed. The SpaceDock entry 1806 returns 404 Not Found. I didn't found it on the web archive neither. By all means, this is a "bogus" entry that describes an Add'On that doesn't exists and CKAN guys know about it, as it was frozen. So, no. I'm not making CKAN accountable for this mess neither - they are, also, just messengers. — — — — — That said, I'm not sitting on my hands on this. I will tackle this problem down. I just will not play Cat and Mouse with the problem - if I'm going to use yet some more of my scarce free time solving third parties problems again, I will do it on my terms. TL;DR : I will support who supports me, and I will work out a soft ban on non forum compliant Add'Ons. (please don't take it as an argument on you - you are another messenger on this problem! )
  12. Hi!. Brazilian here. Welcome. Let's see what's bitting your KSP. Older KSP will be a problem. Most Add'Ons don't support 1.4 anymore, so we will need to apply Hotfixes on your KSP installment. You will have to learn how to create directories, unzip files and copy files between directories Are you ok with that? I will flood this post with technical information. Don't worry, you don't need to cope with that. I do that because as the time goes by, I forgot what I was doing here, and so that information will help me to remember. It's a very heterogeneous collection of affected parts. Some, inclusively, will show a Warning later because TweakScale doesn't support them yet (about 9 on a Stock KSP). You can ignore that Warning, but if the counter rises, I ask you to hint me here about the affected parts so I can support them. Interesting… It's as if every Making History part was double patched. I think I know whats happening ! And yep… It's TweakScaleMakingHistoryConfigs again. You got lucky, it's pretty simple to fix it. Tell CKAN to delete the Mod TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs. This will fix all that double patching on the Making History parts. It's not impossible that some other problems, hidden by this one, arises. Kick me here if that happens. Only the "Houston" messages are really problems that need me to fix something right now (these message has a Red Title). For some time, Warnings and Advises (Yellow Titles) will be issued while I fix some things on my side, but you can ignore them for now. But if the counters get bigger as you install things, would be helpful if you publish the KSP.log so I can register that parts and see if there's nothing new in need of being updated from my side. In time do you know S.A.V.E.? You will need to learn to manually install it (there're old versions for KSP 1.4!), but I think it's good to have it - or some other Add'On that does this job. Relax. Most of people here don't talk English fluently, and mine is far from being perfect. If you find hard to express yourself in English or are unsure if you translate it correctly, write both - what you would had written in your mother tongue, then your best effort to translate it to English. Someone will come to the rescue if anything is wrong. “Navegar es necesario, vivir no es necesario”, Pompeyo Kerman.
  13. Excellent! But so I don't understand why the patch above failed, because TS does kinda the same, but using introspection... Anyway, by night I will check this - I must had done something stupid on that patch... Welcome. I understand this solution is less than desirable, but there're so much time available to check and pursue every new change (and bug introduced) on each new KSP version, so Authors need some time to understand what's happening to cope with - for example, I managed to understand why some old parts are blowing up due heat on launch, but now I realised that heavy crafts are blowing up too!! (and heavy crafts are one of the reaons people use TweakScale...). All of this can easily overwhelm our free time - yet more to who works on this time of the year, as me... I'm pretty sure these parts are suffering something near the heat problem I think I solved on KSP Recall 0.0.6 (beta!!!), so there's a good chance I can manage to cook a workaround (if someone else don't do it first!). But for now.... Humm... When you rolled back, you did the installing one by one, or just moved the GameData's folder contents (except Squad and SquadExpansion, of course) to the 1.10.1 one? These errors should had happened on 1.11 too. In a way or another, I found the problem - such a amount of FATALities are usually related to installing something twice on the system. Essentially what's happened on you rig: [LOG 18:05:46.140] Config(@PART[Tube1p5]) TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs/Structural/@PART[Tube1p5] TweakScaleMakingHistoryConfig was an old add'on that was retired (and I think incorporated into TweakScale - that was before my time here), and since now TweakScale is the canon patches for Making History, there's no need for this add'on anymore. Frankly, I can tell you you don't want it, because TweakScale's patches were revamped and some little details fixed. Remove TweakScaleMakingHistoryConfig from your GameData and everything will be fine. In time, can you check the licensing terms of the TweakScaleMakingHistoryConfig and, if the license allows it, can you pack it and send me a copy? I can't find a pristine copy of it anywhere in the Web (it was distributed once on SpaceDock, but as I said, it was withdrawn...) I need to check if TweakScale original MH parches came from it and, if yes, I need to proper acknowledge it - current patches are a complete rework from scratch, but until 2.4.3, that patches were the canon and I think that guy deserve the credit for the work.

  15. So I found the netkan entry for this: https://github.com/KSP-CKAN/NetKAN/blob/master/NetKAN/TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs.frozen It says automated Spacedock submission. But the mod has been deleted by the author from spacedock (probably because TS got updated for MH) which is why you cant find it. But for some reason CKAN is still picking up and distributing it. If you wish, you can contact the original author and ask them to resolve this with the CKAN people: https://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/profile/104003-jedtech/

  17. sure! (I assume this is no longer needed if the solution of "TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs" works propperly, is it?) I'm trying this right now. I'll let you know whether it works or not. I'll go to that part of the forum and try to get instructed. Thank you very much. What an incredible community we got here. Rafi, muchísimas gracias. De momento voy tirando, pero si tengo algún problema al ponerse la cosa más técnica, te preguntaré. Vaya comunidad que tenemos aquí. Gracias, en serio. Hurrah!!! It worked. Now I got 106 yellow warnings, but no doomsday red warning showed up!! Thanks!!

  19. Thank you for new release! This mod really enhances my game experiences. Unfortunately, I've been suffering from possible error related to this mod, recently. In the game console, below message keeps pop up from the beginning of any crewed flight. in KSP 1.6.1 with MakingHistoryDLC with KerbalHealth 1.3.5 or KerbalHealth 1.3.4. What's really happening during the game play is that nothing goes wrong as long as I keep my kerbals inside their vessel. (Destpie the message continues to appear) In status window, Change/day and Time left, Radiation shows numbers as expected. Problem occurs whenever I go out EVA and get back to the vessel. Kerbal's health change/day properly reflected when going out EVA, but does not tracking the change when going inside again. In other words, the mod treats the kerbal like it is still in EVA. Both in terms of radiation and health change. Every other crews' status seems OK, only the EVA kerbal's one affected. It happens in a new game with same mod list. So I tried, but keep failing to replicate the issue with other saves by adding in and out suspcious mods. In clean install, of course, the problem doesn't occur. Took it from LoaderInfo section of my sfs. Some of them are olds but still works. Now, as the problem seems to resides in some mod interactions, may I ask You to help me resolving the issue? Is there any known issue with a certain mod (other than USI-LS) that might break Kerbal health? or Could You look at my log file to see what's going on behind the scene? I'm attaching my log file (Doing EVA and get back) which contains the message I wrote above. If You need any information to fix this, please let me know. Thanks.
  20. It happens to every craft I create eventually or on a duplicate of a launched ship. I am on Steam although I run it via CKAN's launch KSP button. As for the save games I never get far enough to loose a great deal of progress as this happens to me very early on most game starts - on the odd occassion that I do manage to get a satellite launched it happens just shortly thereafter. I've deleted and reinstalled the mods after replacing the original game files through Steam's file integrity checker thingy. Mods, in no particular order: ModuleManager, AblativeAirbrake, AlternateResourcePanel, AlternatorsForAll, AntennaHelper, AntennaSleep, TexturesUnlimited, AutoAction, AutoAsparagus, AstronomersVisualPack, B9PartSwitch, BetterCrewAssignment, BetterLoadSaveGame, CapCom, ClickThroughBlocker, CommunityResourcePack, ContractConfigurator-FieldResearch, ContractConfigurator-KerbalAcademy, ContractConfigurator-KerbinSpaceStation, ContractConfigurator-RemoteTech, ContractConfigurator-Tourism, ContractParser, ContractsWindowPlus, ControlSurfaceToggle, CorrectCoL, CraftManager, CrewLight, CrowdSourcedScience, CustomBarnKit - am curious to see if it could be this one at fault, DatedQuickSaves, DistantObject, DistantObject-default, DMagicOrbitalScience, DraggableNavball, DynamicBatteryStorage, EVAHandrailsPackContinued, EVAParachutes, FilterExtensions, FilterExtensionsDefaultConfig, Firespitter, FirespitterCore, FirespitterResourcesConfig, FlagPack, FMRSContinued, FuelEfficientPilots, FullAutoStrut, FuseBoxContinued, GravityTurnContinued, HangerExtenderExtended, InternalRCS, InterstellarFuelSwitch, InterstellarFuelSwitch-Core, Kartographer, KAS, KeepItStraight, KEI, KerbalAlarmClock, KerbalEngineerRedux, KerbalFoundriesContinued, KerbalImprovedSaveSystem, KerbalInventorySystemNoFun, KerbalJointReinforcementContinued, KerbalXMod, KIS, KSPWheel, KXAPI, Landertron, LandingAIM, MagiCore, MechJeb2, MechJebForAll, MiniAirbrakes, MissingHistory, ModActions, NavballDockAlignIndCE, NearFutureConstruction, NearFutureElectrical, NearFutureElectrical-Core, NearFutureElectrical-DecayingRTGs, NearFutureLaunchVehicles, NearFutureProps, NearFuturePropulsion, NearFuturePropulsion-LowThrustEP, NearFutureSolar, NearFutureSolar-Core, newReactionWheels, NMSG, OrbitalSurveyPlus, PartMapper, PlanetShine, PlanetShine-Config-Default, PreciseManeuver, PylonFix, RealBattery, RealChute, RealPlume, RealPlume-StockConfigs, RealTimeClock2, ReCoupler, RecoveryController, RemoteTech, RemoteTechStockConfigs, RockomaxSLSPartTextures, SafeChute, SAVE, SCANsat, Scatterer, Scatterer-config, Scatterer-sunflare, ScienceAlert, Science-Full-Transmit, ScienceRevisitedRevisited, SETI-RemoteTech, ShowAllFuelsContinued, SlingShotterReslung, SmallTweaks, SmartParts, SmartStage, SmokeScreen, Snacks, StageRecovery, StateFundingContinued, StationKeeping, StationScienceContinued, Suppliesbackpack, SurfaceExperimentPack, Toolbar, ToolbarController, ToughLove, TrackingStationEvolved, TriggerAu-Flags, TweakableEverythingCont, TweakScale, TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs, UICore, UniversalStorage, UniversalStorage2, UniversalStorageStockResourceFuelCell, UnmannedTech, USI-Core, USI-EXP, USI-FTT, USI-LS, USITools, VABReorienter, VaporVent, WaypointManager, WernhersOldBits, WorldStabilizer, xScience, EasyVesselSwitch, CommunityTechTree, EngineLighting, NearFutureSpacecraft, StationPartsExpansion, ConnectedLivingSpace, EnvironmentalVisualEnhancements, TexturesUnlimited-UnofficialStockConfig, ProgressParser, ContractConfigurator, ToadicusToolsContinued, CommunityCategoryKit, RCSBuildAidCont, KerbalKonstructs, Astrogator, BetterBurnTime, BetterSRBs, DecoupleWithControl, IntegratedStackDecouplers, ConfigurableContainers-Core, RN-SPP, CargoTransportationSolutions, AVP-4kTextures, TextureReplacer, CommNetManager, CommNetVisualisation, CriticalTemperatureGauge, FlightPlan, HeatControl, ScienceRelay, LCAproject, ResonantOrbitCalculator, KerbnetController, KerbalGPSRevived, ExperimentTracker, BOMPs, BonVoyage
  21. No, it looks like there is a bug, but it may be specific to GUI, as I'm able to install TweakscaleMakingHistoryConfigs from the command line.
