  1. Hello! I just created an account on the forums, so I apologize in advance if I’m posting this in the wrong place. Im hoping to get some information about the breaking grounds DLC. I am playing on Xbox 1. I was just wondering if anyone has any updated information on the subject. From what I understand, it took a while for the making history DLC to be released on consoles. I only just recently began playing and, by that time, making history had already been made available. I looked around the forums and other sites for any information relating to its release. I found a lot of speculation on the part of other players, but couldn’t find any “official” information. Maybe I’m looking in the wrong place? Maybe I can’t find it because it’s not there? Can someone point me in the right direction, such as an official announcement or the like? I really cannot get enough of this game! I’ve been hooked for the past two months straight! I would really love the ability to have the expanded scientific rover tools and arms! I’m really looking forward to all the other components made available in breaking grounds. Again, if anyone has any information on this, I would appreciate it! Thanks in advance!
  2. Hello everyone! A new technology has arrived to the KSC and with it, Kerbals will only get more Room to Maneuver! We’re excited to release, Kerbal Space Program 1.7: Room to Maneuver, our newest content-filled update that will give players new features and wide variety of improvements to help Kerbals explore farther than ever before! This update includes two new useful navigation upgrades, the revamp of all of the small maneuvering motors, including new variants for the Twitch, Ant and Spider, as well as a brand new galaxy texture map to have our astronauts mesmerized by the beauty of the celestial vault. A great deal of bug fixes have also been packed into this update, not two mention a new 3.75 meter nose cone and a 5m one for those extra-large fuel tanks in the Making History Expansion! Let’s go through some of this update’s highlights: Maneuver Mode Probably the most impactful feature within this update, the Maneuver Mode is a new navigation tool that gives you access to useful orbital information in both Flight and Map mode that will also allow you to precisely and easily adjust maneuvers nodes, all to help you fine tune your interplanetary transfers. Altimeter mode toggle A long-requested quality-of-life feature that will allow you to toggle the altitude mode from Above Sea Level (ASL) to Above Ground Level (AGL) by simply clicking on the new icon to the altimeter. Hopefully this will improve the KSC’s survival rates… Part revamps This time around, small maneuvering engines were the focus of our revamping efforts. The Ant, Twitch, Puff, Place-Anywhere 7, RV-105 Thruster Block, and Vernor Engines now look better than ever, plus the Twitch, Ant and Spider include new stunning variants. On top of that, we’ve added new tuning values on some of those engines. Galaxy Texture Map Update The game’s galaxy cubemap has been updated in Room to Maneuver. This environment map has been carefully crafted to reflect a nicer color palette and more defined celestial objects. With double the resolution, it will be impossible not to enjoy the view while exploring Kerbin’s star system. Click here to see high res images. Scrollable PAW Another small quality-of-life feature we’re adding to the game is the addition of a scrollbar to the Part-Action-Window. This will keep the PAW within the bounds of the screen when they get too big, something that might come in handy for players who use mods and fill those up And more! To learn more you can read the full Changelog here: =============================================== v1.7.0 ======================================== +++ Improvements * Upgraded Galaxy Textures. * Add new flight UI mode that includes in-depth orbital information. * Add advanced maneuver node editor, allowing player to edit maneuver nodes more precisely. * Add an Altitude toggle function to the Altimeter. 3. Hello Guys, I’m new on the forum, and I have been in love with this Game since was released. You know is simply amazing. All you know that. and I know probably I’m asking the same stupid thing, but guys! This is a great Game, and I do not have an Xbox One, or a PS4, nor a PC. All that I Have is a: Nintendo Switch. so here we go again (I think): (I know all the technical Stuff and how difficult is to port it, I Know is a Heavy Software) but, Do you think there will be a Chance to Have KSP on the Switch? and if an admin is reading or someone of the staff, you know, you will have my Money ready for KSP on the Switch and you know very well that will not be only my Money.
  4. Some time ago I hauled a quite decent mining and refueling space station to Minmus orbit to foster my interplanetary ventures. To do this I built a tug vessel with a lot of dV mainly consisting of a large fuel tank, four Nerv rockets engines and an Advanced Grabbing Unit (instead of a docking port) for lugging stuff around. The decision to use the Advanced Grabbing Unit instead of a docking port was done because I planned the vessel to be reused as an asteroid pusher once the space station was finished. The station was split in two parts, hauled to Minmus and assembled there, using the vessel mentioned above. So "grabbing" and "releasing" worked fine at least once. After the station was completed, the tug vessel was left "docked" at the space station by grabbing a docking port. This worked fine. The problem is: I cannot release/undock the space station's docking port. Whenever I click on "Release" on the action menu of the AGU nothing happens, the claw remains attached. Immediately after clicking "Release" the button "Release" and "Free pivot" disappear. If I click "Disarm" the animation covers the AGU, a click on "Arm" reveals the closed claw again, and "Release" and "Free pivot" buttons reappear. Then again clicking either "Release" or "Free pivot" do not do anything (no free pivoting either). I tried this repeatedly, also tried restarting the game and reloading from a save, of course. Question: Is there any way to detach the claw and perform my asteroid mission? Or is my tug vessel doomed to stay clawed to the mining station forever? My last resort will probably be hacking the sfs file and selectively overheating the docking port part of the space station the claw is attached to. But I'd rather keep the docking port...
  5. Kerbiting System This planet pack, which has officialy released, is a planet pack that rearranges all the planets in the stock Kerbol System. In later versions more planets and moons will be added and a lot more will come! This is what I let you guys decide. I like to make a planet pack which makes people as happy as possible. For that to happen I need your advice on what to do/add/edit. Very important to know is that this is my first work. So if any bugs are encountered, report them immediately! Let me know what you think and give me some advice on what to do next! I'll make a poll to know what you guys want to see next. Changelog: Release v1.0: Bugs fixed Official release Beta v0.2: Fixed a major bug by changing rearrangement of the planets Changed science values More bugs fixed Beta v0.1: Added descriptions for all the planets Added some small things Bugs fixed Alpha v0.2: Added correct science values for all the planets Alpha v0.1: All stock planets rearranged Given some different properties/orbit settings for some of the planets PICTURES: Pictures Kerbiting System STRAWPOLL: Poll Installation instructions: Just place the "Kerbiting System" folder inside the "GameData" folder.
