Stock music or personal playlist?

 So recently I've started listening to my own playlist on spotify in-game, rather than the stock music. I just think it's better, what do you guys do? And do you have any good recommendations?

I just listen to random music from YouTube on loop. If you want suggestions, then  just...  Kirby Star Allies music...

I usually have a movie going on one of the other monitors.  If not, probably some music.  Nothing specific "for" KSP though.

Never been a fan of the stock KSP music, I just leave KSP muted.

Nobody can listen to the stock music for more than 2 or 3 sessions.  Its "okay", but there's only about a minute of it in toto, after which it will begin to loop and grate.

I'm not using Spotify or anything like that, stock music is enough. Why? Because I'm not listening to it, it just makes the climate. Same as instrumental music in movies, games etc

Lol, @Pandaman09 and @The Aziz must be on to something... Not only do I listen to just the stock music, I actually like most of it (especially the weird whale noise one, that played on my first sub orbital flight back in the 0.18.3 demo)

First thing I do in pretty much any game is mute the music.

I  love  the  feeling  I  get  when  I  finally  make  orbit  after  the  fiftieth try, that  music  is  like  the  sound  of  relief

When launching and tweaking my circularisation maneouver node I find the stock 'tinkly' into space music a useful audible clue to when my ship is out of atmosphere.

Haven't heard the stock music in ages. It was okay, but got old for me. No grief though, I dont expect a game to provide me with music. Just the effects, plus my own tunes, serves me just right.

My headphones hang on their perch when I play KSP, so I can talk with my wife and kids.

Oh, ya, definitely no headphones for KSP for me either, or most any games for that matter. Only got myself a headset recently to play a shooter game with friends. No headphone guy at all, never been one. My KSP explosions fill the whole house

I’m pretty sure I broke my stock music a while ago. Don’t hear much of it. Usually have some YouTube video on in the background

I can handle the music for about half hour or so. After that I have iTunes shuffling away through my music collection.

I tried to do that but soon discovered that while my pc can run YouTube in the background, iTunes murders my frame rate. Why? IDK.

Probably for the same reason Spotify will occassionally use 4+ GB of RAM.  It has to do 9,000 things related to stuff other than playing music.

Just use something other than iTunes.

yeah. I (unless I’m in a stable orbit) pause the game and change the song. I’m sometimes insulted by how bad YouTube thinks my taste in music is!
