What is this?

It is my work of texture unlimited configs and retexturing  of some models. I'm working on it for now and  you can look at my work.

It contains TUCaR  of some models from mods :
CryoEngines
CryoTanks
CxAerospace
MiningExpansion
PlanetaryBaseInc (Almost all)
SpaceTuxIndustries
Squad
SquadExpansion
StationPartsExpansionRedux
StationScience
TarsierSpaceTech

in the next version will be added :

I did not know. But it is not need because I will post current versions  when they are ready. Current version I will comming soon.

I had retextured the Mainsail liquid Engine. Look at it and what do you think? video

p.s. Squad developers made very bad textures

On engine has text. Does anyone know what text should be there?

Not sure I understand.  If I provided some parts which are in desperate need of retexturing, would you be willing to do it (I don't do graphics)?

I still do not understand how much work there is and if I will have time for it. Show me what you need.

Oh, ok.  You didn't say.

the mod has 166 parts, but I'm only interested in getting a few of them updated becuase their textures are the worst.  I'll PM you a zip with the parts I'm insterested in.

What happens with the default textures of these models - are they unloaded by the game engine and not using RAM anymore?

It seems that these texture are added into RAM, the default textures are not unloaded.

@Shadowmage @Electrocutor is there a way to unload the default textures which are replaced by patches?

The HECS2 still is messed up - I don't know why because the orientation of the original texture
GameData\Squad\Parts\Misc\AsteroidDay\JumboHexProbe.dds
and this pack's texture
GameData\TUCaR\Squad\Parts\Misc\AsteroidDay\JumboHexProbe_diff.dds
are the same - and both are .dds
