Is it possible to change the color of lights of stock modules

Quick question: is it possible to change the color of lights of stock modules (or, well, any other modules), I'd like to create a day / night cycle on my stations and bases with redshifting light at night (instead of just shutting them of, I think it's a bad idea to have those stations without any lights), I do have Surface Mounted Lights.

Oh, crap ... thanks for moving that in the correct place (I just lost sight of what's related to KSP and real life space program it seems....)

@zer0Kerbal well, I'm searching a mod that would allow to change the lights color (as I can change the other lights). Doing the day / night shift is easy (I think a KAL-9000 correctly setup can do it in stock), it's more the ability of changing the color that I'm after.

It's not automated but you might want to look at BULB which allows altering lights during flight.

There's a newer recompile toward the end of the thread. Don't know if it works in 1.8.

The automation part is not a problem, if those sliders can be allocated to a KAL-9000, and thanks, that's what I'm looking for
