Me2, but they don't want to give us K9.

An irony: K9 starts from K.

Foton is a Science Jr., not spy sat. So you could’ve just mentioned that instead of a retired spy satellite with outdated camera gear. Although this extra snippet into Roscosmos’ use of blatant legacy-derived hardware is quite interesting.

Also I know Bion-M is still in use.

Which K9? Mk1, Mk2, or Mk3?

A good twin of Zenith, yeah.

Irony #2.
The Vostok capsule looks so much dimensionally close to the stratostat capsules of 1930s, just covered with goo...
That's why we need a normal buoyancy in KSP.

Asbestos fibre and thermoplastic, or at least it was. I don’t know if they’re still using that as their heat shield material.

Also that’s not really ironic, just a coincidence. Or is it?

Laika / Barkie (who was actually Curlie and more actually Hey-you-come-to-eat), Belka / Whitie, Strelka / er... Arrowie.

a) Thanks! But what kind of fibre...

b) by ‘which K9’, I was making a not-very-subtle Doctor Who reference. The real dogs were probably just let back out into the streets of Moscow where they came from

Organosilicon clothes filled with ph-form resin.

Adopted, reproduced, and partially gifted to Kennedy.

(Pushok or Pushinka / Fluffie, born to Strelka, later renamed to Striker)
