jastrone Posted March 2, 2021 Share Posted March 2, 2021 here some i think will come: interplanetary(plant a flag on an other planet than kerbin), interstellar(plant a flag on a planet that orbits another star), if there are tutorials/cenarios there will probably be achievements for them, and the devs talked about boom events wich could probably be achievements, there will probably also be for making and reaching certain milestones in the colonys and i think it would be fun with an achievement for making a colony with a rocket sent from a colony Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I would also prefer something similar to Minecraft Java edition. Whenever we do something like getting into space for the first time, setting foot/planting a flag on the Mün or somewhere, leaving Kerbol's SOI, etc etc etc, we would have made an advancement/achievement with a fun name. Meecrob Posted March 3, 2021 Share Posted March 3, 2021 I'm probably in the minority here, but I think that achievements for things that are literally required to progress in the game are kinda patronizing. I think they should be reserved for unique ways of accomplishing tasks like how it was when they were first introduced to games. For example: an achievement for a Mun fly-by is really really lame, but an achievement for a fly-by of Mun from a gravity-assist of Minmus, or fly-by of Mun without orbiting Kerbin first give you a reward for trying something a bit more complex and not the "correct" way.
