So since i will be making a 1 to 1.5 adapter i need a 1 meter tank. so Falcon 1 fans will be pleased (sort of)

If something is that huge it should really be launched in pieces with all the extremities being deployed in space. Until we are able to do that, the 4.2m fairing should be plenty.
Saturn V and sky lab disagree.

anyway back on track. i made a tri adapter for the original 1 meter engines (which where renamed to Kriffun Engines) I think I will altering the 1 meter kerlin engines a bit to make them seem like more than a scaled up version of kerlins. Also i will be rebalancing their power. currently they are merely twice as powerful as the 0.5 versions. however according to specs from Space X the Griffin engines will be more powerful than a mere twice their smaller counter parts. If I make it so Three can power the Failcan core to space with equal thrust they should make 900 thrust. and chug fuel. however I think i will up their power from their original 690 to like 750 and leave their fuel consumptions down. This should result in slower launch speed but more lifting capabilities.
When cost comes into play and needs balancing they will of course cost a good bit more than 9 kerlins.
Edit: first succsessful launch. It absolutly Crawls into space but the fuel savings get it there 'better' but defiantly less cool than the 9 variant.

well, this is beautifull work!
i cant seem to get the micro Kerlin engines on the side of the capsule to fire? the fuel tanks are there, the rcs panels work. the squarachute panels are in, but they wont deploy either.
this is just on a pad test, capsule sitting alone on the pad.
Help Mr. Cardboardman. HELP!!
are you loading up the pre-made ships I included?

yeah. I made the .crafts for the release and tested some of them. I will be releasing tomorrow at some point. it all works on 13.0 umm. just have to get home from work and edit the file part text and stuff
if somene wants to help with release it would be awesome if someone could give me a template to make my first post for this thread prettier

guess i will revert the changes. Give the trunk RCS tank :-\ the 2nd stages fuel and wait for this bug to be fixed. that way the trunks RCS tank being so large is semi explaine.d I dslike it. i dislike it alot but it seems to be the only way...

apparently it uses the top first in s stack. it has no correlation to the order of tanks in the side or the stages. it is sort of annoying actually. so i am moving the RCS tank to the top of the tank in the trunk. Tests show this works. It sort of sucks since the trunk RCS tank is rather detailed since it could be seen more than the inner Trunk Tanks. Oh well.

hmm. i think you mean Yes? a EA is a derivative of a TKS.. thus making the TKS the original EA. so yes... ?__?Excalibur Almaz is actually a TKS derivative, so no.

the parachute is the only way you can do it at this point in time. it works well enough. just don\'t do a retro burn with the engines and it will never look off.
one last problem to figure out now that we can land with out bad stuff happening.
For some reason it ignores the 2nd stage RCS tank and directly uses the trunk tank @_@ but since Kraco RCS thursters use alot more this is a problem lol.

made the tank and adapter. i gave the adapter the same slope as the Capsule to make it look neat.
Also, the top of the capsule is 1 meter I did this so you could place 1 meter stuff on top of it like for sat. launches and such.
