  1. Moar parts + 64 bit = very yes, typically beyond looking cool though,... what do they do?
  2. I know a fairly recent commit cranked the break threshold wayyyyy up on the umbilical and tower. As for the fuel, uhhhhh, the generator works afaik, but it may be symptomatic of the breaking connection as well.
  3. Spiffy! Now that other post makes sense... Im tempted to combine your landing thruster(s) with the landertron module for maximum entertainment.
  4. I have rescale working enough for flight testing, but not gameplay. The patches won't fire the bubble tanks unless it's seeing kscale64 (I think, I'd have to check), which wouldn't be the case here. They are on b9partswitch still anyway, which we still need to resolve vs wbi going forward. If this is still on the 1.1.3 release, then it is the bubble tanks only out of the above list. In the comparability/rescale folder, there is atlas.cfg, it should have the tank config(s). You may need to tweak the needs: line in the patch for your setup. @Jso, I have had an idea on a better way to handle this, but I need a longer think on it. edit, on atlas/Mercury: I have found it is by far the most difficult to fly beast in the lineup. There should be patches for 1.1.3 to alter the fuel flow to match the "new" 1.2 behavior, which helps. There are the bubble tanks as mentioned, and I have found a set of Thor fins, as non canon as they are, makes the stage separation more... Viable. (Srsy, that escape tower does more work than most others I've used >< ) The trick I've found is to stage it as close to having ~1 TWR on the sustainer as possible, to ditch the weight. Even then, it takes a tight flight profile to make orbit. As for TWR off the pad, I have no idea why it's so low for some of you; I normally have to turn the boosters down to 60-70 % to keep from overdoing it.
  5. Would not % be the create or edit operator, vs @? I thought the latter only edits if exists? I often get this backwards though there is another rare operator that would work, &, but I would have to check the details, and the above solution with needs is way cleaner. (But there are more options then people realize with MM )
  6. It may be possible to adjust the fuel/thrust of the retro rockets for landertron; it just demands that enough dV is present, but any twr over 1 will work... I wonder if just simply lowering the thrust of the retros would help? The chunky salsa effect is likely due to the fact that if it fired the retros any higher, it'd, well, not land, slowly at least.
  7. I would test if I had the time to commit... I just wanted to say that it's looking awesome, and I love each and every time landertrons are used! That might be my favorite mod since i've played KSP. It's working a treat here, for sure!
  8. re: IVA, I don't have any handy, but I wanted to note that the "big black box" isn't actually a bug: It's the "placeholder" IVA that squad provides for cases like this where no iva exists. It's just that, a box with seats in it, the only purpose being to populate the face/joy/terror cams in the bottom right corner. The black box (which probably won't survive a crash) was the better option from nothing at all.
  9. No, I think it's right then, I've just never figured out the difference in the two modules.
  10. G***a*m*t, That looks great!/We can't write configs fast enough, ahhhhh~~~! And of course the life support and KIS/KAS have updated so they have a purpose again.... sonofanutcracker....
  11. Any chance of getting a copy of the plugin source? I was going to look at seeing what 1.2 had done, but... I am either blind, or it's not in the download/teh githubz. Thanks much!
  12. Very cool! I remember this little guy... Always a fun craft. Thank for the patches! Does your heat shield have two decouplers? I admit as much as I know of KSP, I don't know the function of module jettison; other than it tends to detach my heat shield at inopportune times and leaving me with a set of :| faces from my cargo/passengers.
  13. @CobaltWolf, shower thought: not to cramp your artistic creativity, but as the Skylab is starting to be a thing... How horrible is it to line up an existing IVA? We got lucky on kerpollo, but I'm eyeing the Bigby lab... Feel free to turn the fire hose on me if this is a ridiculous thought
  14. That sounds a lot like the dll didn't get compiled right/all the way. You would either need to do so yourself (not always trivial) or wait for a update release
  15. If not, it shouldn't be hard; the 1.2 changes didn't hit this one particularly hard, if someone else picks it up.
  16. No laughing required, i'm just glad we got it straightened out Now, to have fun with assorted rockets! Regarding rescales... Nothing new to report, but they are not going unattended. When something is in hand to report, well... i'll report back. General balance is certainly on the radar as well. (Spreadsheets... spreadsheets everywhere... It's like EVE Online invaded my KSP ) The word of the day has been "Report", btw.
  17. Check that you didn't get a gamedata in your gamedata , perhaps? Now that I know the flickering is tag related, I can keep an eye out... Weird, but not crippling
  18. If the plugin being there or not doesn't effect the bug, it's less likely that it's BDB. Parts are parts, I mean... you were on OS X, I saw. IronCretin, what do you run? I get the same exact same issue on OS X, but also chalked it up to stock bugs. I also haven't had the 1.2 releases installed without BDB, so the connection didn't even occur to me as far as bugs go, it didn't completely break the game/effect much, so I kinda shrugged it off ><
  19. Hurray for updates! For the mmu docking, the angle snap parameters added to the docking modules in recent versions are probably the ticket. Unfortunately I'm at work, so I don't have a handy link to a mod using the new code... Does anyone in the peanut gallery have a handy example? Perhaps BDB and or tantares?
  20. ... Strangely enough, I can entirely echo this sentiment. Congrats on the release, and to many more in the future. O7 but srsly, go catch a nap or something... You earned/deserve it! ... BANANAAAAAAAAAAA....
  21. If there are issues, please enter them on the github issues page, as that's very easy to keep track of. Regarding rescales, we're actively working on that. Sigma dimensions should work ok, but it's Kopernicus that is not ready. DO NOT BUG THEM, the update process has begun, but it will be ready when it's ready (aka, "Soon") S1c needs addn testing, it's not even 24 hours old? We can look at the dv on it for sure, but what was the nature of your payload? The less the first stage has to lift, and the second stage with the J2 in particular, the more efficient it will be. (The extra isp makes a big difference.)
  22. Right, somewhere in there. I don't actually recall the wording since the esc menu was changed. We ought to have >1 slider actually, if I read the code right. (I may not have, and we only have 1 slider, as it was 2 am and I hadn't checked it outside the source code.)
