hey cvod can you check if your getting this error in KSP.log [LOG 04:44:08.765] Adding new node: newnode_3213 [EXC 04:44:08.779] ArgumentException: The thing you want to instantiate is null. [LOG 04:44:08.783] Adding new node: newnode_9966 if yes...i think one of these two nodes is causing the error -

or alternatively you can cheat for science unlock all nodes see if it fits your play style (or see if the nodes are unlocking as they should ) but don't expect others to do that for you -
hello all i think i found a problem so here is what happens added parts (whatever parts) then added kerbalLab trying to right click on kerbalLab brings no options or info or anything and then you cant right click on any other part you have to exit VAB then re enter so you can have right click ability again but if you right click on kerbalLab again same story again here are some screens (thou not showing much) and output file using ksp 0.24.2 x32 win7sp1 x64 hope it helps https://www.dropbox.com/s/kcy8t53h3ml9hi4/kso.rar

if kso is crashing for you because of the memory limit try running ksp in opengl i got it running + 67 other mods (parts mostly + plugins)

hello all i would like to post an issue i encountered using treeloader 1.1.5 and cvod's custom tree (http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/90938-WIP-Mod-Oriented-Tech-Tree-(August-19-v0-1-05) (thou i don't know if the issue is related to the tech tree) i managed to find a fix for it if someone else is having the same issue as i described here (http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/91194-help-please) you could try what i did (Basically revert to an older version of treeloader 1.1.3) i'am running 0.24.2 x32 with a lot of mods i hope this helps someone and sorry for the intrusion P.S there is an error with cvod's tech tree but nothing game breaking maybe it has to do with treeloader the error occurs on both versions i tried (1.1.5 and 1.1.3) so maybe someone can look at that too ArgumentException: The thing you want to instantiate is null. at UnityEngine.Object.CheckNullArgument (System.Object arg, System.String message) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at UnityEngine.Object.Instantiate (UnityEngine.Object original) [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at RDNode.Awake () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 UnityEngine.GameObject:Internal_AddComponentWithTy pe(Type) UnityEngine.GameObject:AddComponent(Type) UnityEngine.GameObject:.ctor(String, Type[]) TreeEdit.TreeLoader:AddNode() TreeEdit.TreeLoader:LoadNodes(String) TreeEdit.TreeLoader:Update() -
ok btw you don't need to replicate exact same mods just check what version of treeloader.dll you have now so you can replace it with new/old version if the issue comes back

hey i think i found the problem what was causing the issue (treeloader.dll version 1.1.5) i replaced it with older version 1.1.3 and so far i did not have a single issue could you please confirm my findings if you have the time (right click on treeloader.dll and go to the details tab to see the version) if its 1.1.5 try replacing it with 1.1.3 and see if the issue persists though you will have to start a new game cause i think the issue is also linked to the tech tree thx

well i found a workaround for the problem when recovering a vessel fails go to tracking station and select the vessel not from the list but from the map view and then recover it for me it works every single time

ok here first i used it with a lot of mods the error happens, what i did: load craft file KSO block 8 that comes with kso i dont add anything get into orbit...de-orbit land on the runaway error happens as soon as i touch (at least i think) the runaway... then i tried it with all the required mods/plugins for KSO + Joint Reinforcement+chatterer+ATM same procedure as above only this time the error did not happen first time tried it again error came back so it seams its random or i think it;s random i cant seem to reproduce it every time sometimes it pops up sometimes i doesn't all this in sandbox mode ksp 0.24.2 x32 on windows 7 SP1 x64 hope thats enough information cause i don't know what else i can try- 2,647 replies

i'am willing to help and workout the problem but is it possible (in your universe) that maybe i'am not that much technically educated to solve this problem, i tried everything to my knowledge to fix/find the problem and when i ran out of ideas i posted my problem here so that someone with more experience and moding/coding knowledge can help out- 2,647 replies

are you too running mods? does it happen for you at random or when you do something specific? for me it seems its random i cant reproduce it,maybe its ksp bug and not mods

i did not know where to ask for help so ill post it here sorry if its the wrong thread i have a problem with recovering a vessel i;am running ksp 0.24.2 x32 with many mods on windows 7 sp1 x64 here is the problem in career mode [ProtoCrewMember Warning]: Crewmember Jebediah Kerman found inside a part but status is set as missing. Vessel must have failed to save earlier. Restoring assigned status this is the problem i get and i cant recover the vessel i just says how much reputation i get and that jeb is recovered (the vessel is not recovered no science no parts no funds) but in tracking station afterwards the vessel is still there (splashed on kerbin) and jeb too here is the complete output log if someone can make sens of it and find whats causing the error https://www.dropbox.com/s/d8h7exlip7mqjbu/output_log1.rar thx
