  1. Do you have Community Resource Pack installed? Because you should.
  2. The first was that World Cup soccer ball thingy. ARM was a normal update, 0.23.5, not DLC or a mod etc.
  3. Well, to be honest, instead of relying on yet another mod to come to the rescue, seeing as FAR is able to insert its own Engineer Reports (it does so when there's high transonic drag or something), to me, it'd make more sense for FAR (as it is already interacting with the Report) to do this itself.
  4. Top suggestion on reddit is 3D printable asteroids ($49.99). Considering how well the previous 'get hyped!' announcements went, this should be interesting.
  5. Here's another idea for you, Claw - if a contract requires something to be landed at Kerbin (e.g. Ore) and recovered, if the Ore is splashed down, it results in not completing the contract because 'splashed down' and 'landed' are two different situations. Now, I can understand that kerbals don't want soggy Ore, but seeing as the tanks are designed for outer space, it's fair to assume they'd be waterproof as well which means that Ore, whether recovered from land or sea should still count as recovered. Is this something you can change, to make recovery from splashed down possible? Maybe a Stock Plus thing, I dunno.. I've just seen many people regard this as, at worst, a bug and at best, an oversight.
  6. AFAIK, the only thing that needs actual support for FAR is wings and stuff. Structural elements are, as you say, compatible out the box, so long as Nertea hasn't done anything weird with colliders or meshes etc. EDIT: Totally forgot to comment on the parts! They're looking excellent, I really like the texture Is it using InterstellarFuelSwitch or Firespitter?
  7. That's already a feature in TweakableEverything's TweakableEngineFairings. Download TE, delete everything but that dll and cfg, boom, job done.
  8. Benefits of doing Squadcast Summaries - huge amounts of rep from loads of people I know I've gotten rep from moderators which always makes me feel warm and fuzzy but KSP devs? I.. honestly don't remember and now I feel bad :/
  9. Because reasons. Correct me if I'm wrong (as I haven't had a chance to play with it yet), but it's an end-game engine that allows infinite in-atmosphere flight deliberately, no other propellants are needed. I think it's well balanced because A, it's 3.5 tons and B, doesn't work outside of an atmosphere. If you're planning on using it for an SSTO, you'll still need another engine and if you're planning on using it for a normal plane, you'll have to haul around 3 tons of extra mass..
  10. Aww yis, those are some fine looking additions and tweaks. Many thanks for updating the screenshots as well! Great job on this update, can't wait to play
  11. Be sure to select 'Atmospheric' option in the VAB instead of the default 'Vacuum'. The Rhino, being a vacuum-optimised engine, has incredibly poor performance in atmosphere.
  12. You prove my point. Blowfish said the opposite, and he's no fool nor me nor you.Did he? He did not. Symmetric wing will provide +lift at +AoA, 0 lift at 0 AoA and -lift at -AoA. There is no hole here, no disagreements. You got a source on that? A list of planes that did not have ailerons, elevators or rudders? Because I'm not an old plane expert, but I'm pretty sure planes without control surfaces (and therefore, no ability to adjust their AoA) didn't and do not exist. I'll happily be proven wrong though.
  13. Yeah sorry about that.. turns out, accepting an assistant manager position with just 1 other person who's as good as you (actual manager) means working 55+ hour weeks, who knew? That and I'm lucky if I get home before 0045 Saturday (15 minutes after SQ starts) and have to get up again 6 hours later to do an 11 hour shift.. haven't really got enough time for.. well, anything. So yeah, if anyone wants to, I don't mind passing over the baton, at least for the forseeable future.
  14. My work is rather inconvenient right now and for the forseeable future, I won't be able to provide a Squadcast summary. Anyone who wants to is more than welcome to carry it on, but by the looks of things, there's not much going on anyway.
  15. I like end-game engines. KSPI has (or had) engines that ran on IntakeAtm. Yeah, they render everything else obsolete, but if they're end-game, you can't use them to progress as there's nowhere to progress to, you know. You can still use the 'old way' of course - it's how you've gotten this far, after all - but now you've 'won', your reward is a slightly easier way of playing the game.
