I managed to glitch the camera underground, but I couldn't see it... this requires further investigation... I'm loving the exploration side of things! My only wish would be for the contract titles to not be so revealing. They give away a lot of the details of what you're going there to see (like, visit the face on Duna) and then it becomes another 'go to X, receive Y' kind of thing.. I mean, I know there's a face there and I know about Vallhenge etc, but I'd love for the titles to be more vague/enigmatic kind of thing. For the monoliths, is it possible to only say they're monoliths once you've visited one first, for example? But yeah, I have to stress, I love this set of contracts, and the messages you get when you complete them are cool. Excellently made, have some well-deserved rep (and beer money).

You sneaky little.. I thought my game was bugged when I didn't see a monolith from my plane! Thanks for this, I actually had a reason to visit the Island Airfield! I love this mod.

[1.1.2] Kerbin-Side (v1.1.0) & Supplements
BudgetHedgehog replied to AlphaAsh's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Bases only show up when the planet is the focus. When in flight, normally your own ship is the focus and the bases aren't shown. Double click Kerbin in map view to put the focus on Kerbin and show the bases.- 2,488 replies

[1.3] Kerbal Flight Data (Release 23, 2017-08-14)
BudgetHedgehog replied to DaMichel's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Hmm.. well, the thing I can see is that KFD just isn't loade, which is pretty obvious anyway: AssemblyLoader: Exception loading 'KerbalFlightData': System.Reflection.ReflectionTypeLoadException: The classes in the module cannot be loaded. at (wrapper managed-to-native) System.Reflection.Assembly:GetTypes (bool) at System.Reflection.Assembly.GetTypes () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 at AssemblyLoader.LoadAssemblies () [0x00000] in <filename unknown>:0 Additional information about this exception: System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type 'DMFlightData' from assembly 'KerbalFlightData, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'. Not sure why it's not loaded though, only thing I can suggest is reinstalling from new. Also, unrelated, but are you aware TextureReplacer has a navball replacement feature now? Save it under GameData\TextureReplacer\Default\HUDNavBall.png and it should show up. -

No, I use both fine. Gonna need an output_log as yours doesn't even appear on the Toolbar.. sure it's installed correctly? -
[1.3.0] Kerbal Engineer Redux 1.1.3.0 (2017-05-28)
BudgetHedgehog replied to cybutek's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Then something must have gone wrong with my install when I removed the old version of KER completely and copied across the one from KerbalEngineer-1.0.15.0.zip :/ Sandbox save (not new though), stock Learstar.. here's the output_log.txt, you can see the version of KER it loads is 1.0.15.0. -

Standard names for diameters of inline parts.
BudgetHedgehog replied to moogoob's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Or, in human speech, "put a point six two five fuel tank onto one of the tiny adapters with the smaller end on top". Personally, when I'm talking to myself when building, I always use ".625" or "tiny", "125" or "small", "2.5" or "big" and "3.75" or "biiiiiig". When I'm writing it down for explanation, it's always the proper metric diameter (0.625m, 1.25m, 2.5m, 3.75m, 5m). It's just clearer for everyone reading then with no chance of misunderstanding. -
PQS stands for something like Planetary Quad Sphere and, as the name suggests, it is just a quad divided deformable sphere meant to be used for planet generation. So yeah, KSC has its own colliders that aren't part of the method used to render Kerbin. Also sorry you're leaving, you did an excellent job at reviving rovers. Thanks for the effort you've put in so far, I honestly do appreciate it.

[1.0.x] BatteryIndicator (2015-02-09)
BudgetHedgehog replied to pizzaoverhead's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Yeah, would kill for a SPR compatible version or patch or something. Subscribed for the future! -
No, but we do have countries other than America present.

Ah I see. Well, KER has done that, but they also provide a part that can be attached to show it so you never don't have access to it. I get they're wanting to make Engineers more useful (though, I'd start with the ability to repair solar panels as well), but yeah I see your point. Considering that nearly every flight from the first until you unlock a non-Stayputnik probe core is manned by a pilot, it'd be incredibly frustrating to not be able to show that info. EDIT: I take 'engineers' to refer to both the kerbal class and the guys who give the report in the VAB.

What has that got to do with showing dV? Isn't that a good thing
-
I never got why people think it should a higher-level unlockable thing.. It's something so intrinsic to spaceflight, you shouldn't be leaving the ground without it. Also, as I said on Reddit, it better be robust, considering how many updates KER has gotten. Wonder how it'll compare.

Well, that's sad.. still, good on you for offering them up for adoption, I just wish I knew coding or I'd take on a few! Good luck with RL! -
[1.1.2][1-1-2] May 13-2016 EnvironmentalVisualEnhancements
BudgetHedgehog replied to rbray89's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Probably not, that's too old. -
Funny, July 2014 to September 2014 was also a downward trend. And April to June before that. And January to March.. It's almost as if it's going up and down. If only there were some thing to connect the 'up' bits in early January, April, July, late September, December.. Saying that the recent downward trend is significant means nothing if it happens between every single recent release. I personally don't see any downward trend that Steam KSP hasn't seen before.
