  1. For Anybody wondering.

    No, The current Notebook mod (version 0.1.0 - April 2023) does NOT work with the KSP 2 Version (0.2.0 - For Science)

     

    It shows the notepad but it's not possible to add a note to it.

  3. Hi Nils!

    You seem to know a thing or two about modding the KSPedia so you might be able to help me out.

    I am following the tutorial from 

     and get stuck at

    • In the lower-right, below the Inspector Window is the Preview Window, at the bottom of this is a selection box labeled AssetBundle
    •       Click the Box -> Select New -> Add your entry (use only lower case letters)

    as there is no AssetBundle Selection Window.

    Could you give me a hint to a more recent tutorial or whats wrong here?

    I am using Unity2019.2.10f1 (thats the right one, right? :D )

    I am just trying to get Planetwiki4 updated as the author seems to have abandoned it but I have never used unity before.

  4. Planetwiki doesnt work with 1.8

    It fails to load, which is surprising as the delta-v-map mod for the KSPedia works fine.

    Here's the relevant log entry:

     

    The AssetBundle 'file://D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Kerbal Space Program\GameData\planetwikiv4.ksp' can't be loaded because it was not built with the right version or build target.
     
    (Filename: C:\buildslave\unity\build\Modules/AssetBundle/Public/AssetBundleLoadFromAsyncOperation.cpp Line: 445)

    Error while getting Asset Bundle: The AssetBundle 'file://D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Kerbal Space Program\GameData\planetwikiv4.ksp' can't be loaded because it was not built with the right version or build target.
    AssetLoader: Bundle is null

    I really like the idea and hope you are aiming for some high quality visuals along with the book. I'm not a big comic/book fan myself but I know there are a lot of people out there that would be head over heals to get their hands on something like that.

    Make sure to get in contact with @UomoCapra to introduce him to the idea and your vision. Now that KSP is partnered up with Private Division (Take2 Interactive) they may have resources available to support you.

    I'm not very active within the KSP Community but I wish you the very best with your endeavor!

    I've played Chapter 3 now and I really liked it.

    I found 1 Bug (end node didnt trigger. reason unknown. maybe change the EVA node to ANY crew, ANY Vessel, ANY Body. There are no other possibilities anyways)

    My only complaint would be that some texts ( top center screen) are not displayed long enough or even interrupt each other so I missed the majority of 3 or 4 texts. Make sure they are displayed long enough for slow readers like me xD.

    I would also add a "Time since node >10 (or 15)" after every "Display message" Node (or some at least)

  8. we already had a chat in my livestream so I wont give any more feedback here.

    The only workaround I can think of to make crafts drop from the sky is a cratf with an x meter long clamp (requires craft file editing) and then you delete the clamp with a "destroy part" node.

    oh, and if you change already released chapters, give them a new version number.

    version X.Y

    increase X for major/crucial changes/bugfixes

    increase Y for minor bugfixes and alternations

    yes thats normal.

    the last node isnt marked as the end node, so you will never see a "mission finished" screen

    Just a warm feeling on the inside that you made it xD
