I use the hype speed post per day. As people start hyping, the posts on the hype board increases exponentially in relation to the release date. BTW 880th post on the 88th page.

The pics aren't ugly. The pics are just showing the "kerbal" way of doing it. Explosions, Kessler Syndrome, and Chaos are a major part of the "canon" that the game has (not insinuating that there is canon, but there are plenty of references to this). The picture of a chaotic chip fairing separation is perfect in the minds of kerbals. Also, to people who have the fairing yes no stuff, I think its safe to remove that since HarvestR said that fairings are fully adjustable to suit your needs.

I'm just adding my hype here. Protect your payloads with fairings! Spaceplane part overhaul! Question: in the devnotes the h in happy launchings is bolded. Does is mean something........ ILLUMMANTISH....

Now that the kerbals have legalized the use of females in the deadly scenarios of space travel, my agency plans on recruiting many (and maybe sending some off immediately to support my Mun-Base operation, which only has a few kerbals now).

I will probably end up tweaking heat damage so that I need heat shields, but I can still use aerobraking.

This is an interesting Idea. I don't think you will reach space, but some altitude should be possible (which would be cool anyways, especially if you used sugar and KNO3).

How does everybody like the heatshields? IMO the tiled design is cool, but the colors aren't very kerbal.

I just want to point out that it's not like squad is one person nor are they insane. If this many people don't like how they separate in that pic, I'm sure someone from squad brought it up. EDIT: considering the community saved the lifesaver, they will definitely "fix" fairing deployment.
