I could honestly see them adding 1 or 2 extra solar systems on launch, and possibly more as DLC? I don't see a problem with that. But we will have to wait and see.
-
"Maybe a mobile game" Don't give them ideas! XD (Basebuilding Farmville style clicker clone. ).
-
Yeah. I am all for charging a price for a product that it costs. I agree, value and budget varies for everyone. But if someone works hard, and is polite about asking for the payment, then that's great. (Lots of "artists" do rubbish work, and ask a lot, that's not a problem, until they call their fans names LOL, but I don't see that happening here. KSP2 and the devs are asking for a price, and seeing if it's right for the community. TBF, if it's polished up fully, $/£60 is fine...)

Multiplayer often requires the code to be set for it from day 1. So as it was not originally, it was just a single player game (an awesome one), they could not add it easily. As this is an entirely new game, they can look and start to add it from day 1.
-
As said. Pre-alpha. And, keeping the current stock parts*, and adding, 25% or 50% more is fine. See the Steam page for some pics of the new parts. There is a TON of them. Mainly resource/base/station parts. *They are almost certainly re=working some of the stock ones. New shaders for instance.

Nah. They were honest "not gameplay", so I totally afford them that. This is an AWESOME intro video if for loading the game. Even if only the 1 time it plays, totally worth it. The early Alpha footage/images shows they are aiming to meet the feel of the trailer. They are totally above board for that. We only have all the *other* companies scamming with fake gameplay trailers to blame, and not the little honest teams (or big teams?) Like Squad/StarTheory.
-
I can see a lot of re-work in the parts. Remember, this is pre-alpha. A LOT of the parts in the developer interview also are brand new. I'm just hoping the company and developers are nice and helpful people. Not the scammers/rip offs some companies are. Also that they get treated well, so the companies above/shareholders/etc don't cause them trouble.

Not gonna lie here... It was so emotional, brought a tear to my eyes. What's wrong with me. XD But on a serious note. Hope it goes well. And well as in Minecraft/KSP 1, and all those other great successful games without loot boxes.

Oh, it's not that I won't like it. I just have very different play styles in career and creative. So I'd like to use the mod in creative (to give some mission incentive to a free form mode, and some excitement), but not in career (as I'm limited on cost/funding, so don't want it being eaten up by failures, as well... it's not real life, I want fun not stress XD ).
-
Ooh. Is there an easy way to enable/disable this mod? I was thinking of adding this to a creative mode game to add some interesting results. However, I'd probably get annoyed with it in Career (for now, I'd redo a new career with it enabled later). Or am I best just finishing this career game, and starting a new one with Dangit later?

What mod do I need for that lighting (other than the one that upgrades my GPU LOL!).
-
Seems manually installing click through blocker fixed it (and all my other mods, I worry less about, so did not really realises this was the combined bug/error). Thanks! (Yes, you are that good, you fixed it without even seeing the logs! ). PS, time to SpaceX and Blue Origin it up with the new robotic parts! (The stock re-use now is great, I'm even making custom folding solar, RCS and landing gears to store for entry! )
-
Hahahaha. Thanks though for actually taking note of little old me on a computer game (considering how much work programming this stuff must be!). Hmmmm. It's 1.4 a gig... I may need to check/regenerate/fix it before doing that. XD Deleted and reloaded the game. This is what I get now: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vaq63zb2ti18g9m/output_log.zip?dl=0 [edit] Ah I see click through blocker is not working. Hmmm... Used Ckan... Will see if a manual install works instead.
-
I'm getting a similar problem. Have installed those two through Ckan, and the latest updated/DLC from Squad. Get the FMRS button in game (not in VAB), but get no actual function from FMRS right now. I used this mod a ton to do SpaceX style flights and re-use. Any ideas on where to start to troubleshoot (I might do a stick game without the squad robotics to see if that is interfering). Using 64Bit KSP, Windows 7.

Where do I start with how many errors are in that picture? (Like when does a ballistic trajectory got straight at a 30 degree angle! XD) -

Give the artist a medal! A friend said "Did you hear, the Red Roadster crash back down and Elon said it's a bad week"... I said "It can't 'fall' back down... they did not belive me because "the news headline said... even though I never read it properly, but it *must* have fallen*". Why do people act so ignorant? -
Is it worth it for "emergency" power. A battery is great... but if your solars get blown up (not much can do that, but whatever), a constant 100w, while not 120kw, is better than nothing. Could power lighting/coms etc.

Oh. I agree... but I could really see a luxury cruise liner and a large deck/rig/etc for landing. I mean, private yachts already have helipads, right? -

Kinda. Grey looks like black in comparison to white, and grey looks like white in comparison to black... just look at your TV/Monitor for an example (pure blacks/whites are difficult on most ). -

Where we're going we don't need roads! If they can, a rendezvous and refuel at sea (separate boat to avoid landing complications) could allow the booster to return by its own power. -

It is at least iteration on each idea though! -

So, Elon has the Romans to blame for the rocket! http://www.astrodigital.org/space/stshorse.html From Rome to Mars? -

Oh, it's terrifying in a good way... and Elon would do it if not for the sea in the way! -

Aircraft vs fuel tank is like saying you know what a car is because you make horses... (Ok, that example is poor, but it's like comparing a car fuselage to an aircraft one. I've seen the local tanker factory... and even they do VASTLY different construction depending on the type or haulage.) -

I sometimes "abort" my trip out from the house... as I forget to lock the door/my lunch/my wallet.
