  1. Kraken, no. They weren't trying to disco party before 1.4.
  2. It could be done. It won't be done.
  3. Oh, yeah. The graphical glitch with the feet? I always found it weird that that ever broke at all. Wonder what happened. Still, the core gameplay loop of actually landing things was not broken.
  4. In what manor? Mine aren't exploding as 1 meter a second.
  5. This is what bothers me the most. If you're okay waiting a month for landing legs to be fixed, or have the means to play a earlier install (me), that's fine. What about new costumers who bought the game seeing it had DLC now? The fact is, landing legs have been broken for a month. If you can't, at least, understand why some people might me upset about that...
  6. Well, as far as I know, this one isn't the case. There was even a question on whether KSP would jump to Unity 5, and to this new version for 1.4. In fact most released games don't change the engine their on once they're released, because they're released. It's almost like KSP isn't 1.0 after all. I know, right? When did that happen? Sometime in 201X? I've decided I'm going to start using the game developer's definition of released for my job in maintenance. This is going to sweet. You said that in past tense. Typo? Red paint makes it go faster. Confirmed: Life support coming to KSP! The greatest cop out of modern times.
  7. A quick glance at the reviews suggest it was the EULA changes. Don't worry. Just as with the forums, Squad will stay silent, the community will forget after a month, things will resume as normal.
  8. Maybe not, but it certainly reflects on Squad, the company. Especially the quality of those who left, and that they all left at the same time. ...and Porkjet left not long before that. People changing jobs doesn't say much about that person. Employees leaving a company en mass does say something about that company. What it says is up to interpretation.
  9. Probably NDA. We may never know.
  10. Well, considering my install is maybe only 10% original Squad parts...
  11. Mistakes like simple config file typos that somehow weren't noticed? The missing IVA and fairing size problem were so obvious and such simple fixes. Seeing scepticism about QA quality is completely justified.
  12. Talking about what freedoms of speech people should have is political. I suggest this thread be locked as it has an innuendo of politics per the second rule layed forth in this thread.
  13. So...it's okay that an update broke a core part of gameplay? (Landing on foreign bodies using landing legs?) To each their own, I guess.
  14. Costumers should not need to (and should not be expected to) know how the sausage is made. A consumer only needs to compare a product to it's peers. They don't need to concern themselves whether a chair was hand made by one person, by a team, or by a machine. Only how that chair stacks up against other chairs on the market. To a consumer, that your product is hard to make is no excuse.
  15. Don't be surprised if my KSP now has that body which orbits Kerbin named Olivia Munn.
  16. There is no saving it. It died a long time ago as it was being born. Truly, the Kraken's accursed tentacle touched this one while in the womb. Any attempts to salvage it have been in vain. We can only ease it's passing, and mourn what could have been. From the diary of the physician of Kerbal Space Program's career mode.
  17. Now I know this is a lie, because dogs are loyal, human friends. If anyone owns you and your house, it's a cat. Cat's are truly the overlord no one sees coming. Beware the cat.
  18. I read this as sarcasm and I agree.
  19. I could actually see both things happening. More DLC really depends on the sales of MH, as does continued base game development (most likely). KSP2 on the other hand. Sequels are a proven market. I just can't see Take Two buying the IP other than this reason.
  20. Take Two buying the KSP IP. Anyone who thinks they only bought it for the long tail of KSP1 and some DLC is crazy. Already sold it to Take Two. Squad is now only contracted to work on KSP. They don't own it. Any further details are unknown to us.
  21. KSP2 is almost a guarantee. ...and I wouldn't mind some other team having a crack at it.
  22. I would have been quite happy with a 1.3.2 final.
  23. They're actually hiring for QA Engineers at this very moment.
  24. Oh, I have plenty to say on that one too. For one of the main forms of gameplay (landing a spacecraft) to be broken on a release and stay broken for a month... Honestly, think about how these past updates have looked to a random, casual player who doesn't go on forums. Suddenly legs are exploding everywhere and re-entry effects are having a disco party!
