  1. 1.1.3 has broken quite a bit in KK. I've not looked at the why. I've been busy working and modding Stellaris. Sorry, but when something fundamental gets changed in KSP without a word from the dev team (in this case you've highlighted, it's in relation to the GUI, probably to do with Unity 5's new fangled GUI features) I tend to shrug, swear and then take a break from working on the mod.
  2. KK.cfg is a persistency file saved in the appropriate save game folder for a career game. It's auto-generated at the start of a new career game. Since this is a single report of the problem, then I would guess you've got your KSP install in a Windows secured directory, which is locking dlls and preventing necessary file writes to and from directories. Or it's some weirdness with Steam save-cloud (does KSP support that? No idea.) Or you've accidentally deleted it. Start a new career game and see if the issue is reproducible. On the known bugs list. No fix. Choose a mod to keep. Sorry chap.
  3. It would. There's a lot of assets in Kerbin-Side that I want to update to fit more modular base layouts, as this will also be useful for some of the new gameplay features I want to implement through KK, such as base founding, base expansion and building upgrades. The 'space program tycoon/4x' stuff I want in my KSP.
  4. A few of the runway layouts are problematic like that. It's something I'm addressing with the new generation of runways I'm working on to replace some of the rather dangerous ones that currently exist.
  5. Currently using the editor's delete function only deletes the instances from core configs, rather than the pointer configs used in most Kerbin-Side packs. It should be sorted for the next version.
  6. You need Kerbin-Side Jobs, which includes the plugin that extends CC.
  7. I like the stock heat, re-entry and aerodynamics. I like the sound of what's coming for comms because it's RoverDude working with Squad. He has a tendency to go for hardcore realism (IMHO) , and Squad will no doubt temper that to something quickly accessible. I like that math. I'm looking forward to it.
  8. Pretty sure this won't do anything to the size of a static. That's odd. What exactly do you mean by 'resets'? RadiusOffset.
  9. It shouldn't be hard to salvage old bases from previous versions. I'll see what old versions I have archived and put some up on alphastrikegames.com/FileDepot.
  10. Some have been removed over-time. Some got downgraded to no longer having any kind of launchsite. Mostly when a location became annoying to expand or redundant because it was too close to another location.
  11. Legacy. When a few launch locations are close to each other, the icons obscure each other. To handle the problem I gave some sites 'blank' icons. I just need to fix that and possibly have an offset where icons pile up.
  12. Nope. Area 51 is an urban myth of Americana, regarding storage of a UFO. Google it and enjoy conspiracy land. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Area_51
  13. You know, I had a really snide response to this along the lines of "it's none of your business" then noticed who the OP is. What gives really @5thHorseman? I know you're not one to avoid controversy but what's with dis smelly pile of thread chap? Shocker. Who would have thought?
  14. Your question could be interpreted in a couple of ways. Give me an example of what you want to do.
  15. Then you're screwed and either do without KK or start pulling other mods until you find the problem goes away. I can't reproduce the problem because I'm not going to reproduce your game environment. I don't test KK against all the mods you use.
  16. That was a guess. magico13 and I have had problems with getting the two mods supporting each other since KSP 1.1, which is why that's my most educated guess. I don't maintain CKAN data. I just tick a box on SpaceDock.
  17. This. The collaborating author (Eskandare) hasn't updated the content and I believe is planning to re-work it and release it independently.
  18. There you go. KK and another mod are incompatible. My money is on StageRecovery and KK still not working together. Choose one or the other. I can't reproduce the issue.
  19. v0.9.7.1 now available. See OP for links. Changelog: Added a center sight to the landing guidance HUD. Added a glide-slope meter to just under the center sight. _____________________________________________________________________________ ^ Because the forum merging sucks. The log has a number of exception errors from mods that aren't KK. Uninstall KK and statics packs and try to reproduce the problem. There's nothing in that log that suggests the issue is KK.
  20. One good thing about failing to tender for a contract. Plenty of time to play the hell out of Stellaris and plug on with some unfinished work for Kerbin-Side. Another go at a modular airport. I like to make SketchUp sweat.
  21. v1.0.3 of Kerbin-Side Skyways now available. See OP for links. Changelog: Added landing guidance to several of the runways. To use landing guidance you need the latest Kerbal Konstructs. When close to a base with landing guidance (approximately 25km in most cases), switch on ATC in the Inflight Base Boss to activate the landing guidance HUD. Note that a few runways have a limited guidance system or no guidance system at all. This isn't a bug - it's a design choice. Like all supplements, you can install this on top of Complete if you don't want to wait for an update of that. By 'on top of', that means just click yes when asked to over-write existing files.
  22. Not long ago. A couple of weeks. That method doesn't do what you think it does. I don't have time to notate the efforts I made to integrate KK and RT. There's a fork of RT and an interface for KK to RT on my GitHub. Go look at that. Beyond that, sorry, I'm kinda done with discussing this. Go find out for yourself how fruitless an exercise it was. KKCCExt deals with the open and close state of launchsites. Theoretically it could be retro-fitted for tracking stations. However, it's still just an extension of CC and an interface for contracts and KK.
