  1. The book actually does not specify a date. So don't feel bad. There are no actual dates. However I say 10-15 years because it seems that they are basing the whole mission on the constellation program, http://youtu.be/ncvFAm4kYCo It pictured the infrastructure in the book looking like the infrastructure in that video except a little more as advanced. Plus the references to modern movies and music ie the Watney/iron man method of orbital rendezvous.
  2. I agree although I suppose I think the helmet is throwing me off. I don't like the helmet. The rest of the suit I suppose is cool. I still think it looks too futuristic. Although lets just say it's 10-15 years in the future, we don't know how small everything is going to get, and what advancements can and will be made. I definitely did not expect Apollo like suits,
  3. First pictures from set and honestly I think they look amazing! However.......I know its set in the future but everything looks slightly too futuristic. What do you think?
  4. I love this idea!! Keep at it!! You sir are a steely eyed missle man!
  5. Do you have all the dependencies installed because it's not uncontrollable. It easily takes off. It's the reebtry and landing bit that needs to be tweaked.
  6. I said this before but I will ask again. Once everyone gives their input you will make a proper download right? I am all for choices and all but a proper download with changes implemented would be really nice. Mainly because to understand the patches on the front page you would have to read the entire thread to see what each one means. A download with proper changes and working fixes should be coming next. People should be able to have a optimal experience right out of the box not mix and match downloads on the front page.
  7. Once consensus is established about the best bits on the front page will you put it all into one download? A proper update that has all the new working features would be nice.
  8. I agree it would be devastating to have two threads and models. Teamwork is essential!
  9. Wonderful wonderful! Bravo! Very very small nit pick. What's the pipe going down the SRB? Is that just because they are turned the wrong direction?
  10. At the very least you guys should work together. Since dragon isn't posting on here anymore maybe mike-nz can answer questions and fix any problems as they come up. Plus his work with the SRBs is really really good. If there is a split I am gonna end up having to download both just to use the SRBs. So I would prefer if you worked together in some capacity.
  11. You won't give it to mike-nz he's getting a lot of work done. Last update I heard about dragon was gonna be a few months. The pace that mike is working it could seemingly be released sometime next week. And mike is doing a better job.
  12. Oh yea!! I definitely like the whiter booster definitely looks better.
  13. O I wonder what would happen if you gave it similar or the same lift as the stock large mk3 cargo bay?
  14. One thing that I would like to see added is some more adapters 1.875 to 2.5 and 1.875 to 1.25. Also shrouds for the engines if we use decouplers would be cool.
  15. I agree although a more productive way would be to explain WHY the aerodynamics are terrible. First off they aren't terrible but they definitely need to be tweaked and I think you already addressed that. I came in too steep on approach and I flared too much and the orbiter when straight up stall and then fell back down backwards and then went tail to the sky. The best way to describe the current aerodynamics would be feather. The shuttle basically floats when it gets too slow. However if you line up for a proper approach and you don't lose too much speed it is an excellent glider and flys pretty well. Still it def needs to be fixed.
  16. Awesome awesome awesome! Congratulations on this release. Would you say that this a Deltaesque Stockalike pack?
  17. Take a look at this. I know you are working on the scaling of the SRBs. Maybe this will help. I still think they are a little too tall. Also I thought you said you got rid of the pink ring? Anyway that is still a nit pick. Also you can see what I mean by point yet still rounded on top. One last nit pick is could you have a smoke trail from the SRBs? I knwo the SSMEs shouldn't really have smoke but the SRBs definitely should.
  18. What do you mean they make css one look a bit average?
  19. Oh yea! That and more! Amazing they all look great! What do you think?
  20. Hey I'm not complaining about there being a selection. I'm just looking out for you. Full steam ahead I say. My opinion will always be whatever you think is best.
  21. I know I have made a lot of suggestions. You have in turn, AMAZINGLY done all of them. It's awesome. However at this point to save your time, energy, and efficiency if you decide and dedicate your efforts towards one path. At this point I trust you, and I think you will make the right decision. Honestly if you have to maintain three rhree different boosters and cfg for aerodynamics you're gonna get burnt out. So I recommend picking boosters and dedicating all your efforts at them. Honestly your work on all of them has been stellar.
  22. Yea but the ORIGINAL boosters looked like the ones several pages ago. Those are the boosters perfect for the decouplers.
  23. This is a link to the original download. Im on my phone so I don't know if it works. But it is also wildly out if date. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/3321-Component-Space-Shuttle-(CSS)-v0-2-1
