  1. I have never played multiplayer but here goes. Make a "ship" with alot of hitchhiker storage units and launch it, EVA all the kerbals around the launchpad. Repeat till you have a great big crowd of kerbals wandering around. Hacking gravity might help you.
  2. I believe that could be the best solution for most challenges as many people do like to customize their game with mods.
  3. Well then my probe is not entering the competition. I could have landed on eve with 5.738 tons on launchpad.
  4. Is Mechjeb allowed? I can not be bothered to do interplanetary missions with ion engines without autopilot.
  5. Any rover is basically seaworthy. I have the thing still somewhere. I could make it as long as i feel like, limited only by the draw distance and my computer. If I hadn't gone full speed into the water, i could just float around.
  6. It is stock. I only have one mod installed and that is mechjeb. Here is a video of it. http://www.twitch.tv/othuyeg/b/514496299
  7. From the forum rules. This is why they have added it there. You are onto something big! http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/30064-Community-Rules-October-27th-2013
  8. There is already a very similar challenge. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/22072-Lowest-orbit-around-Kerbin!
  9. Note: The picture in the starting post is designed to show off the clock, not the armhair. I do not desire that.
  10. Let us dedicate a thread for items we personally would love to own. I shall start with this beauty: (Note: "girlfriend/boyfriend" is not an acceptable answer. Just... no.)
  11. I'd love to see your setup dude. Also there is a challenge for the best Kannon. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/72287-Kerbal-Accelerator-Challenge
  12. Some people do not have so much time to invest in video games and I think MJ allows them an easier way of enjoying their Kerbal experience.
  13. Using my nuclear cargo ferry to bring my science lander to Mün orbit and back.
  14. I believe the best way to go is to allow players more options. This game is purely based on missions designed by the player himself and those missions are determined by the available options. This means - more options for tweakable game mechanics (turn on difficulty settings, such as life support etc.) and give the player more ways to solve problems (parts...) For cosmetic things... I like the way it is now and it can be very very beautiful at times (sunrises, atmosphere, eclipses...)
  15. Jets are there for the absolute fun factor they have. I love my spaceplanes. But remember, if someone is starting the game for the first time flying a jet would be simply way too harsh a start and they would never get to orbit if jets were a requirement for advancing.
  16. IF I am doing something repetetive, then I feel absolutely no quilt using autopilot. But for example in career mode, this is what I do: http://www.twitch.tv/othuyeg/c/3932138
  17. I started a new career mode. This means landing on Mün and Minmus. Here is a short highlight of one landing: http://www.twitch.tv/othuyeg/c/3932138
  18. http://www.twitch.tv/othuyeg/c/3932138 New career mode, new moonlanding. This time with a new approach.
  19. Where on KSC are you trying to land? http://www.twitch.tv/othuyeg/c/3868521
  20. I use the IJKL controls aswell. I feel it is easier.
  21. I had a nice periapsis of 107 km for aerobraking on Jool... I warped through the thing without dropping out of time warp... got no aerobrake, went out of the solar system. Not nice.
  22. Oh and yes... here are the satellites that have yet to turn into debris:
