  1. The rudder is the control surface that attaches to the trailing edge of the vertical stabilizer.
  2. I was wondering if you could make the OMS engines use MonoProp instead of LFO? Or make MonoProp variants?
  3. The link for cacteye you provided is for the old version. Try this one: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/105660-0-90-CactEye-2-Orbital-Telescope-BETA-4
  4. You need 2 flexotube parts to connect them. The best way I have found is to attach one the right click it and select link then walk over to where you want to connect it and attach the second part the right click it and select link.
  5. That is an install issue. Could you post a pic of your gamedata folder and the KIS folder
  6. Stock struts can't be used with KIS. You need to use the ones from KAS.
  7. I think you should keep the same cockpit on both. I love the way these look just wish I could fly them.
  8. It is a relatively new feature. Just put your cursor over the part while holding H then click.
  9. With the new parts added in BDA .9, craft can be separated and still use the targeting abilities of the radar. In my picture the craft near the VAB has the tracking radar, but no weapons of its own. The other three craft have the missiles and a data link part. That part lets them connect to the tracking radar and remotely target enemy craft. By doing this the opposing aircraft must destroy each launcher or run the gauntlet to destroy the radar station.
  10. @SciMan The first time the Hubble telescope was captured by the Canadarm, the arm had been upgraded to handle nearly 3300 kg. It is immensely impractical for a single person to move a heavy load in space, since objects in orbit retain their mass and inertia, an astronaut must exert ten times as much force to accelerate a 10‑ton satellite at the same rate as one with a mass of only 1 ton.
  11. This thread is over a year old. If the original download doesn't work, you probably won't get one.
  12. That video probably showed the old version of KAS. Now you need to install Kerbal Inventory System. There is a link to it on the first page. Please read the user guide that comes with it also
  13. BDArmory's last major update released working tracking radar. You now have to lock targets with the radar to attack.
  14. This is an updated version of my Patriot Missile System. It requires BDArmory, KAS, KIS, and Infernal Robotics. In the last pic you can see my KSC defense setup. With the radar update from BDA, you no longer need to connect the launcher to the tracking radar. Craft download Here
  15. It is for the mod RemoteTech. The mod requires all unmanned craft to have a radio connection to the KSC to operate. Link here: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/83305-1-0-4-RemoteTech-v1-6-7-2015-06-25
  16. Looks a lot like the f-103 from Stargate SG-1.
  17. Connecting the ground pylon to the craft makes it all one craft. This moves the center of the craft without a corresponding movement of the mass, making one end heavier than the other
  18. And i take it they aren't connected to anything yet? If that is the case, you are severely unbalancing your craft, which is why it jumps like that. There isn't a fix it is the way physics works for ksp
  19. KAS no longer has a hard dependency on KIS, so it should be safe to update
  20. You could use ship manifest to resurrect them and assign them back to the station.
  21. You could use kerbalx.com. It is a good looking spaceplane. I'll have to try it out when I get home.
