  1. It would also be nice to have a part that reacts to vessel speed.
  2. KSP_Win is the KSP root folder. For Steam it is Program Files (x86)/Steam/SteamApps/common/Kerbal Space Program BDArmory is a really good weapons mod. BDArmory also, CKAN isn't 100% user friendly. It is best if you learn how to install mods manually before using it.
  3. You would be better off posting in the ckan thread since I'm pretty sure the modders for KIS do not maintain the metadata themselves.
  4. I'd say the mostly cause is the welding process messed with the engines animation
  5. The most recent post before yours has your answer.
  6. It did in my case but I still use stage recovery because the bug only affected kerbals landed on kerbin.
  7. This is known bug with Stage Recovery. Last I checked, there wasn't a solution yet.
  8. Well the usage per day is configurable so you could change it to make it an even number. For example, if you change the SupplyAmount line to 0.0006944 that would give you 15 supplies per day per kerbal.
  9. Yup, and the avg per day for a human in space is 33kg
  10. I am pretty sure he is trying to use them like stock fuel lines. @Nich The most engines do not allow surface attachment to the engine. This is why the end point will not connect.
  11. Then the next step would be to try to replicate the issue on a stock install with only KIS and KAS installed.
  12. @LMRaptor it is likely an issue with the part you are trying to attach to. Some parts do not allow other parts to be surface attached to them. You can check this by opening the .cfg file for the part in question and check the attachRules = *,*,*,*. Each * will either be a 1 or a 0. If the last * is a 0, that part can't have other parts surface attached to it
  13. If I understand it correctly, it determines which way "up" is. Typically, in KSP, a rocket is built top down. If you don't determine the first child, what happens when the new root has more than one direct child attached?
  14. @Antipodes Could you find another way to host your mod? I wanted to try it out but Kerbal Stuff has been closed.
  15. Yes in the latest version Roverdude changed the defaults to remove Vets immunity.
  16. You can use the activity streams. Click on "My Activity Streams" in the Activity drop down then create a new stream. In the settings under Content Type click Topics click the settings button next to Topics and narrow by the Spacecraft Exchange. Then under Time Period select Specified Number of Days.
  17. The "pump here" button is so the pipes work similar to the stock fuel lines. To transfer between tanks use the stock method (alt-right click) on Windows.
  18. I should hope not considering KAS needs this for full functionality. And the fact they are both made by the same person.
  19. This is an issue with Steam not KSP. You need to take it up with Steam tech support.
