  1. This is most likely a known stock bug. After flying around for a while the collision boxes for the KSC buildings move and can be hit by moving craft.
  2. You have to click and hold, then drag to the window. If you are doing it right, you will have a small icon attached to the pointer.
  3. what bug are you talking about? The game assumes standard controls for an aircraft, pull back or S to raise the nose and push forward or W (Z in your case) to lower the nose. Normally raising the nose also raises AoA thereby increasing lift. In your case, with cockpit upside down, raising the nose lowers the AoA, decreasing lift. TL;DR It's not a bug, it's a common aviation standard. Everything is done from the pilot's point of view. (Sitting in the cockpit)
  4. This isn't technically true. Mini-guns are not man portable. It is an electrically powered gun, not exactly logistically sound to carry it around in the field. They are called mini because they are smaller than other weapons with similar firing mechanisms (ie the Vulcan). The gun comes from the fact that it uses a gun caliber (smaller than 20mm). The M134 uses 7.62x51 Nato and weighs between 41 and 85 pounds, and is usually mounted on helicopters, Humvees or boarding craft. I have never heard of the 134 being carried and fired in combat.
  5. The anchor uses drag to stay in place. The only way to get it back is to reel it in or detach the anchor, reel in the cable then reattach the anchor.
  6. That would be a bug. I would suggest that you try to replicate it on the most recent version, though, since most mod maker don't provide support for older versions. Also, if you do replicate the problem be sure to provide logs and a complete mod list with version numbers.
  7. And the kerbal doing the attaching must be an engineer
  8. At over 3km/s I find a 40+km periapsis to work better. Maybe try using your engine to slow down when you start entering the atmosphere.
  9. Did you run KSP without the joystick plugged in? Doing so is a known bug that presents exactly as you described. To fix it, go to the KSP root folder and delete the settings.cfg. Run KSP then set up your settings how you want them without the joystick inputs.
  10. You can upload the craft to kerbalx.com and it will tell you which mods were used. Also, this probably belongs in the support forum.
  11. Those functions are part of KIS, so you should look in the KIS user guide on the front page of its thread. It is a little more complex than just hitting a key. The respective keys are "g" and "x".
  12. There are a few parts that can't be resized. I can't recall off the top of my head which ones, but I know there are a few.
  13. It isn't in the KIS user guide, you stated the reason yourself, quoted above. Although, I do think a user guide should be made for KAS. It should also be accessible from in-game like the KIS manual. The original question was why he couldn't attach the connector part to the ship, or more specifically; what happened to the "grab" functionality formerly part of KAS.
  14. There isn't anyway to recover those files if they aren't in the recycle bin, unfortunately.
  15. If you are using Windows, it is called output_log.txt. It is in the folder KSP_Data. Use a site like Dropbox to post a link to your logs.
  16. I would like to know this too. It got rather difficult building a docking arm on my station because the kerbal had to be like a meter or 2 from the middle of the container.
  17. I have been getting this too. It only happens intermittently. I will post up a log later today.
  18. The stock struts and fuel lines can not be attached using KIS/KAS. To use KAS struts or pipes (connector port), place an end point at each location you want to attach to, then, using an engineer, right click one end point and click link. Take your engineer to the other end point and do the same. If the line attached to your kerbal turns red, it means you have gone past the maximum distance or angle.
