  1. Known modders probably doesn't work there. Coders of all sorts (including graphic artists) doesn't always do their deeds for money or fame. So if the people employed and payed to work on KSP2 also are fans of KSP1, which we have been informed of, they might moonlight as modders for KSP1. They are most likely here, and posting among us >:)
  2. As somewhat noted above you have to consider the 3 limiting issues. Disk access/read times. Processing power to unpack content. Memory to memory read/write speed. The last one should normally not be an issue, but comparing single channel vs double channel install is notable. And the faster disk read you have, the more impact the raw processing power will have. There is also one rather obscure thing. Unity has some issues probing for all possible disks, regardless if they are used, or even present. There has been reports of very long load times when there's been an unused network adapter or even VPN.
  3. It might happen if the average player is old and/or geeky enough to have dabbled with SSTV encoding/decoding
  4. I have to retract a bit from my previous statement. I'm currently fiddling with quad-prop drones, inspired by Dragonfly. But I have to say that fiddling with the rotors/blades/ducts and their idiosyncratic behavior in KSP is creating more grey hairs than my four kids together
  5. Because it's Kerbal Space Program. Where atmosphere is something you want to spend as little time as possible in
  6. First note thar MJ can't do anything else than would be possible with manual control. So the craft need to have the ability to act to the controls. Second, noone can help you without logs and/or craft files.
  7. About equal, but with the note that I only do aero in X-Plane, never in KSP (well once, but never again).
  8. Mostly career, with slight breaks for sandbox when trying something completely new.
  9. [snip] I compare the cost to what else I could get for the money. $60 would get me c:a 12 beers at my local pub and that fun would be over in 1/1000 of the time I've spent having fun with KSP.
  10. Actually, you only 2 deployable relay modules, if you use the carrier as the third.
  11. Same. Except that I'd use joystick and throttle to fly an aircraft, which I refuse to do in KSP.
  12. Don't if it's sins but: I use revert and call it simulations. I only do manual maneuvers when it's something new, otherwise I use MJ. In some extreme cases I copy a save to a save-sim copy so I can try out new designs with long timelines. (I'm a KAC junkie and rarely timewarp more than 1-2d in a career save).
  13. Maybe because there's been several sales where the original game has been sold very cheap?
  14. Since it's been publicized that at least some of ST staff are forum members we can conclude that they aren't just "anyone" but "someone" of us.
  15. If I am my NDA would block from answering. At least on this account...
