  1. Lasers? Good luck finding your target. MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
  2. Granted. It is selected and fails miserably. I wish to know what it is like to be imperfect without actually experiencing imperfection.
  3. The building is so large that it has its own gravitational field, so I fall back towards the building and land safely on the outer wall of the structure. The next poster is teleported to the center of a black hole.
  4. Kerbals can play in sandbox mode and have access to an infinite supply of fuel, missiles, energy, and a debug menu. Not to mention that the Kerbol system has planets vastly larger than those in Spore (which are about Gilly-sized, I believe), which means the Grox may simply not pack enough delta-v into their ships to do much aside from some minor orbit adjustments. Kerbals just have to spam battleships into orbit until they have enough to handle the Grox with sheer numbers. Plus, Kerbals are physically superior, capable of falling from orbit and surviving (provided that they land on their heads) and are capable of lifting heavy spacecraft withough difficulty (Seriously. EVA a Kerbal, ragdoll him, land something heavy on him, and, in my experience, he should be able to lift the spacecraft when he stands.) And even if the Grox do take over Kerbin, Kerbals just have to install Extraplanetary Launchpads... Kerbals win. Hands down.
  5. I walk behind the VAB, and they harmlessly explode against the VAB's indestructible walls. The next poster travels back in time where their mother falls in love with them, and they must make their mother fall in love with their father or a time paradox will occur.
  6. Yes, better explosions. Not like the explosions used in the early versions (they did not look very realistic), but just bigger, brighter, and longer lasting, provided that such explosions do not lag the game to death. Explosions are such a big part of KSP the they have got to look good.
  7. ThreadPostCounter++; I give much yes to tiny jets and Rockomax size jets.
  8. +1 I'm sure every KSP player has thought of this at some point.
  9. There should probably also be a restriction against radial attachment (excluding things like docking ports, of course). You shouldn't be able to do crew transfers between two radially attached fuselages.
  10. Who says that a miniature compass and gyroscope can't be built into an EVA suit, especially as a "wristwatch?" and what about the fact that you can access map mode and all of its fancy orbit calculation equipment while on EVA? It is arguably more immersive to have the navball locked, but in that case map mode should also be locked (or somehow simplified) for EVA as well. Perhaps an EVA navball could be unlockable in the tech tree.
  11. When I was in eighth grade, we had a project in math that involved drawing a superhero or super villain using our own scaled down body proportions. (stupid, I know, but we still had fun with it). So, I spent a looooong time time drawing my super villain, and the result was a man wearing a cowboy hat carrying a giant "vaporization cannon" on his right arm, along with a number of other various weapons. I called it Vaporo, and my class was very impressed with it. So, now I am Vaporo.
  12. Granted. Unfortunately, you encounter me there... (I've been there like seven times) I wish that my tractor would stop breaking.
  13. I hate having things put into songs to "help" me memorize them. (COME ON KINDERGARTEN TEACHERS OF THE WORLD! I DON'T NEED MUSIC TO MEMORIZE THE SEVEN MAIN COLORS!) Seriously, I hate having things put into song. Fact: Rayman 1 is an incredible game, and Ubisoft needs to make Mr. Dark the villain of the next Rayman game
  14. Banned for being less awesome than I am. (And, as I've said before, that bans everybody).
  15. I don't know that it's the physics bugging out, but the g-force recording mechanism. Sometimes I'll reenter and the g-force meter will hit maximum, but when I read the Flight Results window it says that I got two or three g's. Of course, that may be just because it just doesn't take FAR aerodynamic forces into account for that number. (I play with FAR installed). Also, you say that two craft entering at different (though both extremely high) speeds may have vastly different results. Do you mean two of the same craft or two different craft? Because if you mean two different craft with different aerodynamic profiles (even with stock aerodynamics), I'm not surprised if the slower one may impact harder after falling through an atmosphere. Still, don't get me wrong, physics bug out at these speeds.
  16. Errrr no. It was technically a skip reentry, yes, but it was not in any way physically realistic. I came straight down towards Kerbin at 75 km/s, around six times earth's escape velocity. No aerodynamic forces could possibly turn that around 180 degrees.
