  1. What do you guys think? Personally as Wii U user, I don't like that it doesn't appear to support dual screen play even though you have to buy a second screen. I could be wrong on that but the evidence kinda tells a story.
  2. The fastest way to find out is not examining log files, it's installing it without CKAN and seeing if the problem goes away. If it does, you have your answer without spending hours searching a cryptic log, if not, then searching the log might be warranted.
  3. Sounds like the same sort of scenario that led to the decline of clouds in EVE (stock). I guess people complained they were too thick so rbray removed them down to almost none, of course my question is why would you install a cloud mod and not expect clouds?
  4. I'm glad you understood what I was saying. I felt like I was just saying "It looks wrong" but I didn't know how to describe it better.
  5. @blackrack Ok so after copying the shaders from the previous release (0.0255) it appears as if they aren't on. It doesn't look any different than not having the mod installed anyway. However, the sunset on the ground is working so I know the mod is active and running. In a way this is the best option so far (IMO) but it doesn't quite look like the screenshots @Avera9eJoe was posting earlier.
  6. Ok, so I decide to eliminate variables and getting rid of EVE/SVE doesn't change the haze. So I don't *think* that SVE is causing it. FWIW, I really like what Scaterrer does inside the atmosphere, but being a space game I spend more time looking at the planet like this.
  7. @Avera9eJoe That looks good aside from lacking clouds. @blackrack I have no idea how to do that. There was a way to go back for a while but that option got removed from EVE some time ago.
  8. @blackrack Well the problem is EVE's stock configs no longer add clouds. Unless you are trying to play a 'find-the-cloud' game where one might appear every 3rd Sunday of April. The lack of clouds is the whole reason I use SVE instead of the EVE configs. But yes, those pictures are beautiful, I just don't see that on my computer.
  9. Ok, so here is SVE. Here is SVE with Scatterer And for comparison, here is Earth (courtesy NASA). Now I used to have it looking brilliant, I thought it was with Scatterer but I'm remembering now it might have been the old Astronomer's Visual Pack: Edge of Oblivion. Here is a picture of it, I couldn't find one at the same altitude level but you should get the idea. Notice how it looks much more like Earth. I may be confusing things, but TBH, the first pic looks better than the second. I'd rather Scatterer just turn off once I left the atmosphere or went to map mode than have the haze.
  10. It still occurs. I'm having the same issue, it took me a while to narrow it down to RealPlume. It seems to only occur after you've been in flight for a few seconds. Simply putting it on the launchpad won't cause it.
  11. @m4v I had a similar issue with my buttons and @DMagic was able to provide a work around. Not sure if it is the same issue or not, but the visibleScenes parameter appears to be bugged so you just have to destroy your button every time a scene changes to where it shouldn't be and then recreate it again later.
  12. I'm having an issue that I thought had been fixed some time ago. Kerbin has an ugly haze over it when viewed from space (or the map) that removes clarity from surface features and makes the planet look far too light blue instead of an earth-like deep blue. I know I had a version of this at one time where this was fixed. Is this a setting to turn this awful haze off? That haze kept me from using or recommending this mod for a very long time and I'd hate to have to go back to that, but for me that is an incredible deal breaker.
  13. I agree. I buy ASUS motherboards almost exclusively so I've never had the issue myself, but I've heard of other people with cheapo motherboards having the problem.
  14. RF Noise can leak directly into the speakers if they aren't shielded well. I used to have a pair of junk speakers that would pick up trucker CB radios from the nearby city loop. It was kind of spooky at times, I'd be in the house all by myself and suddenly someone starts talking.
  15. You have to install the version on curse, then overwrite the DLL in the plugins folder with the new one.
  16. Just so you know, 1.2 changed a lot of biome names and added new ones. As such you need to open your settings.cfg and add them as dust colors before they will work. But the plugin works now. For example, on Kerbin what was Tundra is now Ice Caps and what was Ice Caps is now Northern Ice Shelf or something like that. I don't have time to work on that, but if someone wants to I could put a package together on Github to include them.
  17. Seems to be working for me, even from the download. I'm just using the standard windows integrated zip support.
  18. Small update. I realized one of my changes left a potential for unlikely but still possible null reference exception (if for some reason a part had ModuleWheelBase but not ModuleWheelDamage). https://github.com/Alshain01/CollisionFX/releases/tag/3.3.2
  19. No problem. One other thing that pizza may want to be aware of is ParticleEmitter has been deprecated. I'm not sure for how long, but while it works for now it might not forever.
