1.02- Heat Shields for Very Large Spacecraft?

For biggest missions I use docking ports and folding (IR) structural panels just for fun, launch my big rocket to orbit, assemble and strut (KAS) it in orbit, dock the capsule/station with it and deorbit gently and pray that it doesnt turn to a parachute. -

Hooligan labs will be persistent once its slowed down and "landed" (has a part touching ground) so hooligan labs + kerbal attachment system (and kerbal inventory system) will make airships persistent and easy -
Wow you really are good at this, could you make a laythe sea base for science? It needs to have -Enough electricity generation and storage -A science lab -Means of moving in water, speed isnt a problem. -Generous fuel and kerbal storage Also use as many mods as you'd like, mods add variety and make things beautiful.

Interplanetary liquid fuel tanks

Make a new folder for it, change name to Rockomax LV64 and voila, your LFO rockomax stays and you have your own Liquid fuel tank with the same model and textures -
Repeat the experiment without touching the stairs, find a higher staircase if needed, find your own terminal velocities in different poses

Good Steps To Reach Orbit?

If you go fasr enough in any direction that doesnt end up smashing to ground, you'll reach some orbit. Even perfectly vertical can end up in an orbit. Orbit of kerbol though. -
Try EVE mod it you want clouds, its pretty easy on memory too

I'd say FAR and DRE, but KAS and KIS combo makes the game really fun with on site building

If your problem is the inclination, when you are launching, switch to orbit mode momentarily and get your prograde to desired heading (you may revert to surface mode for gravity turn but I wouldnt change heading). Your surface velocity messes up the orbit you have when you plan to make a non equatorial orbit, when launching with orbit mode, it should get a lot more accurate.

I use the ruggedized wheels with only front pair steering and only back ones powering, it might get a bigger turning radius but its very stable if I keep 10 ton per wheel rule (thats kerbin only info, not so sure about mun) -

Customisating your space center sounds really good actually, Im tired of rolling my shuttles and losing that DV to just get a polar orbit. This would also open up more options like extra large runways -

Forgetting vernier engines in my no-fins hardcore science mode for the first time. My duna mothership that carries a rover, a balloon with electric propeller and a science lander went double backflip then exploded on KSC shortly after launch. -

I really wanted to buzz mountains with a hypersonic plane dive and hear the mountains disapprove of me and my actions, maybe we could hear glass shatter in ksc, from huge rocket launches or planes too if something like that was implemented? -

Like wind sounds and waves, sometimes rocks rolling off of mountains and espe ially, rover roving sounds would be awesome in laythe and kerbin. (Would there be waves in eve?)
