  1. firing rcs for main engines is caused by mechjeb. i did experience massive fps drops by mj pre 1.0 too. maybe taking it out of your mod folder helps
  2. Starting ckan, the black dosbox shows up (as always), then its in the taskbar. When i click on it nothing happens. Then it begins to open itself more times (taskbar hovering shows 4 instances). Again clickng on them does nothing. Its possible to close one after another without any error. When i try to close them all at once: unhandled exception by microsoft .net framework See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. 3. CKAN just crashed at startup, i'm guessing it has something do to with an unsupported mod i installed before: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/107802 Windows 7 64, KSP 1.0.2, CKAN 1.6.12.
  4. Unfortunately i can't tell exactly if this is due to using mods, but i do care to keep them all at the latest release. I love the new Warp to feature (clicking in map view on a line) for warping to next maneuver node or just before it. Sometimes (1 out of 10?) warp time left counts to zero but timewarp does not stop as it should. This is the only bug i have found in 1.0.2 so far, and its annoying. F5/F9 solves this problem, but would be nice if this gets fixed. KSP 1.0.2 @Windows 7, 2 GB Ram Mods in use: xScience ContractConfigurator AnomalySurveyor KerbalEngineer kOS SpaceY-Lifters WaypointManager WiderContractsApp Module Manager
  5. NICE! I never thought this was possible. edit: please add this to CKAN
  6. thanks for updating! sorry to say i've found a minor bug: contained miniavc throws a error at launch telling me to roll back to 101 to make xscience work. ckan does have some support for avc but i'm not sure how to use that or even if its helpful.
  7. try ksp 1.0.2, seems like stock texture got changed by something
  8. please please add something for satellite contracts too! maybe navball straight line or target ap/an/dn/pe indicators..? these contracts are easy once in space, but i would really like some guiding while launching rockets into pane.
  9. please fix launcher update-check forever and patcher.exe not working
  10. i converted everything to .dss in 1.0 and it works mostly fine, only some toolbar icons disappeared (KER and WaypointManager). reverted these to original, seems modsExceptionlist need an update. No flipped textures for me.
  11. I'm glad this mod still exist and you are taking it into 1.0, thank you! Would be nice if this get added to CKAN http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/100067-The-Comprehensive-Kerbal-Archive-Network-%28CKAN%29-Package-Manager https://github.com/KSP-CKAN/CKAN-support/wiki/Adding-a-mod-to-the-CKAN
  12. There is!!! CKAN manages all your mods: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/100067-The-Comprehensive-Kerbal-Archive-Network-%28CKAN%29-Package-Manager-v1-5-0-24-Dec-2014
  13. Try to deal with it, weight limits add a lot of fun. I haven't tried Adios yet, but i'm really exited to see btsm included in such a project. I'm curious if all of it got included, or only the best parts of it; if you delete it (wieght limit) you may loose many more functions.
  14. I'm curious, is there something in the code that want to turn any vessel to Retrograde when equipped with the Inflatable Heatshield? Sometimes i try to stick it on the top, but i find it very difficult to keep rockets staying prograde at reentry. Adding winglets and rcs at the end does help a bit, but they still try to flip retrograde. added image for clarification, seconds before flip.
  15. How about a different approach? Take a look at BTSM, it adds a rightclick-menu to every science module, allowing the player to send collected science to a pod. A popup menu to select which experiment to add would be another option. Or just give it a default setting, smallest amounts first.
  16. some wired problem here with the inflatable heat shield. Nice to be able to deactivate it after expanding, but the default state does not get saved. After loading the save, the inflatable appears to be wide open, while it was back in original state when i did hit F5. The Problem lies in my craft design, it's only possible to open the Heatshield OR solar modules. So when physics hit with both opened, it disassembles fast. edit: Editing the save file did the trick (changed status=fixed to status=Locked).
  17. You are trying to orbit at 11000m, thats ok when starting from a moon or something, but a very bad idea if you are at kerbin. Try 80000 instead.
  18. On a Windows Machine here, i'm having the exact same problems in flight; in VAB too. I'm pretty sure this wasn't around back in 0.23.5, where my only limit was part count of 1500 and game crashes with mostly similar addons. I don't have that much addons installed, overall ksp got far more stable since 0.25. Maybe there's some incompability with another widespread addon? Currently installed: ModuleManager, [x]Science!, BTSM, Deadly Reentry, EditorExtensions, KSP-AVC, MJ2 (stable), ShowFPS, TacFuelBalancer, KerbalAlarmClock, MJ for every ship MM Code-snippet. One word to sarbian: you're doing an awesome job here, can't live without this, and i won't uninstall even if this gets worse.
  19. Smart A.S.S - Surf - Sun does not always do what it should. It seems that it points the vessel to the center of the ellipse, not to the sun directly when in Kerbol SOI. With limited solar panel efficiency, its crucial to point directly to Kerbol itself. Surf-Surf-Hdg:90,Pit:-90 works better while in Kerbol SOI.
  21. http://kerbal.curseforge.com/ksp-mods/220663-showfps works with ksp 0.25 @ Windows 7
  22. The Kraken is not easily repeatable. Most Addons are up-to-date to my knowledge, except Achievements (no .25 version out there yet). Just checked and i have Toolbar 1.7.6 (1.7.7 out), Mechjeb 2.4.0 (ok).
  23. Trial and error. A lot. Ok to get started: get yourself Mechjeb (modules in science tree, or this too) and follow the Rendezvous Planner Steps. There's a docking Autopilot for last few meters too. From time to time i try it myself, but i'm bad at docking as hell.
