Writing it bigger isn't going to help. More details might. For example, what other mods are you running? Perhaps a screenshot of your gamedata directory. Until we know more information there is little anyone can do to help. You either installed it wrong, or have a mod that hid the parts (MKS comes to mind).

I can second that. I had a tweakscale update cause ships in space to have parts missing.

Awesome update thanks atomicfury! I don't know if this is beyond what you want to do with this mod, but I did notice one thing. I wouldn't necessarily call it a "bug". It seems to show atmospheric karbonite when present rather than crustal. For example when I look at Kerbin, then entire planet is covered in a solid red for karbonite rather than per biome.

parts [1.12.x] Asteroid Recycling Technologies

It is a perfectly fine mentality to have. Why should Rover take time away from his already busy volunteered time to download your files and test them when you have been unwilling to follow his troubleshooting steps with a fresh install. You already admitted you did not fully clean out your KSP install from .25 and while you don't "think" that is the cause who's to know. SSD low on space? KSP is only 3GB stock. Slow internet? Maybe you should copy a stock install of KSP onto a USB drive for safe keeping. I for one never play my default install as I keep that clean for update/upgrades and make a copy of it first before doing any play or adding mods. Personally I'm much happier to see Rover working on the bugs he knows about that will benefit us all, vs something that you cannot even show is happening if you go back to a stock install. -
Loading Any Save Destroys My Ship(s)
goldenpsp replied to klesh's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
Does it look anything like this? (see below). I have been having I think the same issue. I have been getting scansat satellites back in orbit and everything is fine until I exit the game. Upon reloading my satellites all explode. In most cases you only see things briefly before they explode. So I tried taking the same satellite and stripping all non-stock parts off of it. I then decided to capture a video of it exploding. Interesting thing is it did not explode. However you can see some strange firing of something out of the engine. This is a graphic I have seen on all other instances briefly before the ship explodes. But this time it did not explode so I was able to see the flames. Very odd. -
I've had a question for awhile that I finally am getting around to. I love scansat, however I have consistently found throughout my using it over various versions that the big map rendering is painfully slow for me. From watching youtube vids etc it does seem to have a bit of a render time, but for me it is noticably slower. I have a decent computer that I think should be able to handle it fast enough, 12GB RAM, 250GB SSD, Nvidia GTX660. Is there anything I can/should be doing to improve big map rendering performance?

Shakes head... Taniwha has already stated on multiple occasions he is just getting it working for .90 with new features later.

[1.12.x] Alcubierre Warp Drive (Stand-alone)

The only way to get the stock fallback is to completely remove the CTT and techmanager mod files from your gamedata. -
Ouch, I was just asking since the front page tutorial has a getting started (no toolbar) caption that states "right click on any scanner and click the OPEN/CLOSE button to launch the small map" Since I wasn't seeing this I didn't know if the tutorial was outdated or my install was bad. I can deal either way. @explorerklatt, no option on the pod either.
-
Ok stupid question. I did a search for hotkeys with no luck. I don't currently have the toolbar mod installed in my .90 install. I just loaded the latest scansat dev release, which is scanning great btw. But without the toolbar how do I get the map to come up easily? Is there a hotkey? I can get the small map up by stopping a sensors scan then starting it again, but outside of that I can't seem to get a button anywhere to show up to toggle it.
-
So this may be more appropriate for Karbonite or MKS, but since it affects all of them I figured I would ask here. Since the resource maps are made per save, and I assume are static, will the fix force an update or would you need to start a new game to generate less weird abundance rates? Of course I ask not really knowing how regolith does its thing under the hood.

Kerbodyne SSTO Division: Omnibus Thread

bah! FAR has been updated for at least a day or so, slacker... -
Huh? The key feature of KSPAPIEXT.DLL is including it in other mods. Go read the OP of the thread. Not to mention that as of right now Taniwha is taking care of the maintenance of KSPAPIEXT.DLL so he'd be on top of the changes.
