So I'm testing a mechanism in order to descend from the surface to the underwater base, which I plan to contribute here after I properly register. The idea somewhat came from the names of the stations actually, here we have a sort of "Gateway Station" or this surface boat, which "Looks Down" on the underwater station, and a ferry submarine would shuttle crew to-and-fro between the boat and the station.

I'll book you in for a turn in december...

@TheGuyNamedAlan, do you want a turn soon?

Alright, too anyone who wants to check in, you can expect a stream in the next 2 hours or so. Possibly sooner. Stand by for more info.

    Here is my ticket lol

  2. I want to confirm the crafts that are going to Duna. Here are the crafts in orbit currently:

    The Hazard

    Drop the Base

    The Dropbox

    N1-L3

And here are the people whoI know have planned to go to Duna:

    @Scientia1423, @DMSP, @TheGuyNamedAlan, @Baybrawler.

If theres anyone i've missed, please tell me; and if I've missed any crafts/craft not going to Duna, also please tell me. Otherwise they'll be sent to Duna during my turn at the end of the month.

I want to clarify, Hyperedit is not allowed EXCEPT when setting up bases in Kerbin, right? I was thinking of doing an underwater base of sorts...

Hyperedit and vesselmover are restricted to Kerbin, yes. Do whatever you want with them.

Yes, of course, but to get to the Duna transfer we would need to use a lot of 30 day limits lol. I think it's something like 1 year away last time I checked.

If we could assure that everyone has sent their Duna stuff up (like say "Last Chance for Duna" in the title) and then we make the jump.

lmao theres only me and you left in the month so that would be a bit late.

You could stream 100%, I would love to watch. The stream would probably happen on Sunday, sometime after lunch European time.

    This is still all Hypothetical.

mmm, i better check (i think it's gonna be midnight here in australia :( )

@DMSP yeah it's gonna be midnight for me so noooooo :(

I have OBS and a twitch account for this lol.

Or find a way to hook the nose gear with something. But yeah docking port jr should do the trick. One on the planes "chin", and another above the rovers COM

Use the AGU to dock with the plane. But what if my plane has no chin?

Also the idea seems to be a good one. I have trouble driving rovers as the landing gear is not motorised.

Any info on the wiki I can help fix/update?

(pics still won't upload :(. I think its something on my end.)

I don't think you'll be able to contribute to the wiki unless you've had the save before. If you want the save, then I'll give it to you when it comes back but nothing in the save should be changed.

Hey, @Scientia1423, and @TheGuyNamedAlan, I'm planning on driving that rover a couple hundred kilometers towards the potential landing site. Would you guys be interested in a livestream? This is just a possibility, as I don't even know if I have the tools to do a livestream.

You'll need OBS to record and you'll need a Twitch/YouTube account to stream. OBS will give you the stream key so follow the instructions on the internet.

Wiki looks awesome, thanks for fixing the page that got broken. Will add more stuff when HW clears out.

Would it be alright if you gave me an idea roughly (Lat-Long) where @Baybrawler's Duna Rover is located? Next time I have the save, I'd love to drive it to the DGOC. That needs a better acronym.

    12, 30, 2 N

    130, 9, 39 E

If I don't get a response from @TheGuyNamedAlan, then I'll probably clear up any debris and fix everything.

I am sorry but for some reason wikia will not let me upload the picture :(.

You might need an account for that option I think.

    to all,

can anyone confirm the exact location of the duna base?? also, i will be improving my lander, making it hopefully be able to carry 30-50 kerbals

    50 kerbals?! That's a bit much isn't it...

  9. Guys, do you think there should be a fleet of cargo and passenger aircraft for operations on kerbin? I'm thinking of adding a part-based airport between KSC and baikerbanur so planes can refuel before going anywhere. If we could use vesselmover to move the main parts, we could have a waypoint at least. Then we could set up baikerbanur for semi-operational use and, well the list of ideas is endless but you get the point.

@DMSP, the rule to launch only 3 times or the 30 days thing? Either of which I will disable if you tell me which one.

I'll have a look at the save tomorrow and see whats changed.

  10. @DMSP, @Baybrawler, since we're on the subject of interplanetary transfers which would last more than 30 days: I'd suggest at the end of each month that everything be set on course to destination with no boundary because the craft would become an orbiting piece of debris due to restrictions and if someone has the save without knowing of a craft due to encounter with a planet... There would be Near Kerbin Objects scattered across the solar system.

Since I'm due to launch by the end, I'll launch the LK-LOK along with a tug and send everything to Duna. If no-one claims a nearby slot within 2 days, it's mine now.

    Spoiler

    ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
