will do. thanks for prompt response. edit- GRRRR now that i removed realchutes i cant open VAB or quit KSP without ctrl+alt+del. KSP is an ongoing struggle ill just reinstall Realchute and not use database reload. does it even help with anything? ive just been doing it for every version out of habit

how does one set the snack deprivation consequences? i want death (i keeps it real son ). also id like to remove homesickness. i dont care for the psychological ramifications of being in a tin can for days ill just pretend they sleep and watch Kerbal pron till they gotta maneuver.

i see that the 1.1 KSP compatible kerbalstats is on github but when i download it the folder is tagged with "-master" at the end. is this like a source code thing or can i just install it normally?

if you can do that then why conquer other worlds at all? yes there are finite resources on other planets but i mean come on the handful of kerbals and bases that we can control wont likely stripmine everything any more than a kid with a shovel can remove all the sand from a beach

it calls it "source code". does that install the same? sorry im a bit of a luddite with code stuff. rudimentary PC skills by the standards of this forum

how do you prune the EL parts while retaining the mods functionality? can i just delete the parts i wanna prune in the "parts" folder within the EL folder or will that break something? i wanna keep the big rocketparts hexcans but lose some of the parts i use roverdudes OKS stuff for like the little blue circle docking pad for building ships in orbit. i feel that the OKS version with the robotic arms on it feels more realistic

anyone else havent been able to get this to run with Active Texture Manager? my loader goes on an infinite hang at squad/parts/basic jet engine somethingorother i can provide the ksp log thing but im not sure how to upload it -
thank you taniwha for the prompt update. i consider you and roverdude as essential to KSP replayability and EL the most crucial of all. thanks for giving us options for launch places other than KSC

not sure if its FAR doing this but im having an issue with air resistance suddenly disappearing on kerbin below 27-28000 meters. the craft slows down normally as it enters the atmosphere up until that altitude then abruptly starts speeding back up and of course my chutes cant be used without them getting ripped off. its possible that it could be an issue with the big (2.5m) heat shield since it only happens on this one ship ive made which uses that. i remember having issues way back with the heat shields seeming to deactivate air resistance but then clicking jettison on them used to fix it. not so this time- 14,073 replies

I have to disagree here. I only play Career mode and while I concur that the ore drill should be a bit easier to access I do not agree with having a single resource chain to rocket parts as this is not only incredibly unrealistic but enables the "money printer" strategy way too easily IMHO. I get that KSP noobs will consider setting up such a system challenge enough but KSP has always had a learning curve and I for one prefer realism over "gameyness".

not sure if i should ask this here or in KAS but i cant figure out how to attach a pipe to my ship in EVA. i can grab it and then every time i click to attach it to the ship it just falls right off. i left a kerbal stranded on the mun and while i could just rescue him with another ship i wanna bring back the science parts from his vessel so im trying to refuel it -

is there a way to transfer fuel from one ship to another with this mod or do i also need KAS? -
havent tried it yet (waiting for all the mods i like to stabilize before committing to a new career) but based on whats written it sounds like planets dont deplete, only roids. otherwise he probably wouldnt have made a special note about roids being depletable and instead would have said something along the lines of "like planetary deposits, asteroids have a limited quantity of yada yada..."

ive seen little bits of it from time to time but unfortunately i cant check it out now as im a Dish Network customer and due to a contract dispute with Turner the Cartoon Network has been pulled until they can agree to a sum of money sufficient to satisfy Turner.
