Boycott Kerbfleet for this atrocious business practice. Leaving employees in an area not kOSHA specified? That's a hefty charge for the CEO, Mort!

It all comes down to whether the weather is nice, and whether or not Jeb did one of the following: -Signed a contract w./ Kerbfleet including clauses for mutiny, in which he would be subject to fines and the like -Kerbfleet is a federal organization and has its own laws -Broke a Kerbin law, something like negligence or drunk driving (piloting?) However, this may be overruled in favor of saving them from Eve At most he'd need to pay out-of-pocket for lost profits and contract violation, and he'd lose his job at Kerbfleet. At best, Mortimer gets sent to Dres (next story, Kuzz!) and lawyers are abolished.

PSA: Do not Maintain an Active Flight for over 20 hours.
waterlubber replied to G'th's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I never could. After careful analysis it appears sunsets and sunrises crash me to desktop without a trace in the logs. -

I hope you checked your numbers because it would be dissapointing, to say the least, if you botched the injection. Luckily, Jeb can keep on kicking for years if this world's courts are anything like America's! Boy I wish they abolished lawyers

Secret Sound Easter Egg Thing! [Might be Chatterer]
waterlubber replied to waterlubber's topic in KSP1 Discussion
This is going to follow me for the rest of my life, like Nova's easter egg plan. -
Secret Sound Easter Egg Thing! [Might be Chatterer]

I really didn't need to, but it completes the post -
Secret Sound Easter Egg Thing! [Might be Chatterer]
waterlubber replied to waterlubber's topic in KSP1 Discussion
It was for illustrative purposes -
I was trying to fulfil a a contract, and when I renamed my station I noticed something. This might be part of chatterer, I'm not sure. If you're in orbit of a body, and have the type set to something like Station, Ship, Lander, or Base, you will hear a deep, far-off rumbling. Retype your ship to a Probe or Debris, and it'll stop. I'm not sure what it means, but it's a neat feature! (Sorry for JPEG. This has more artifacts than an Indiana Jones movie set in Warehouse 13)

Delta-V or TWR on takeoff?
waterlubber replied to Saltless Lemons's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
I launch with at least 1.6 TWR. Screw efficiency, I want to get to space fast. The performance hits from mach heating are insane. -
I would also like to see the game increasing joint strength by an equivalent factor, and running the thermal system at normal speed. Perhaps in a similar fashion to this multi-threaded physics warp idea I had. I agree though, this would be great! This would be fairly difficult to implement. Maybe we just tighten up the joints?

Starwhip's Renderfarm [Stock Craft Requests Open]
waterlubber replied to Starwhip's topic in KSP Fan Works
Oh, StarWhip. Do you think your render times are long? Pfft. Out of 275 frames. Started at 6:45 am, it is now 7:08 PM, and has 30 hours to go. I'm just curious, what kind of hardware do you render on, and what do you use to put the KSP models into blender? I've made a few of my own simple models with UV maps, and its quite tedious just for one thing. this is currently the most advanced thing I've made so far: -
