  1. Hi all, With apologies to Leonardo da Vinci and Marcus Vitruvius Pollio, and some credit to Proot, Timmon and The Yellow Dart I present the danRosasian Kerbal. It really was created for my head-canon and in the creation of flags for the AngleCan Space Program several months ago, but I though it would be nice to share. I was inspired to post it up after danRosas' article here. Peace. edit: now with a blog post descriptor!
  2. This is awesome! I'm looking forward to creating nicely styled rotational station and habitats for long term exploratory craft. Thanks! I'm not sure that it is a bug, supposed to be like it is, or my own issues when trying to attach the rotational parts. They don't seem to want to snap into the connections, or other parts only want to connect backwards to them. Peace.
  3. And that was my problem right there. It is only a small kraken I guess, and one easily avoided. Peace.
  4. Awesome work to update for 1.0 - I've been looking forward to it! Thanks! Now... to the Mün! Peace.
  5. I'm hoping for a midnight Mexico release (to lessen impact on Store servers) which will be 5pm Monday for us in NZL then a full evening of gaming will ensue! I say this as the weather fouls up our first Mondayised ANZAC holiday!
  6. I just tried the Skype before I had work away from the laptop. Windows 8 bundled skype wouldnt work anyhow so havent downloaded desktop version. However I do remember the 'blink' from my old laptop. This certainly doesn't do that, and it may have been KSP.25. I've checked the hex editor and still showing up the corrected info. Still no go.
  7. Thanks tetryds, Yes, I'm in fullscreen (how can you tell if it is real or not?), and I was changing settings with the launcher AND with the hex edit - not in the game, oh and through the NVIDIA optimisation tool. But I don' play other games! Ultimately I upgraded my laptop end of last year. My previous one struggled with frame rate somewhat, which wasn't conducive when I was doing tests on making a cinematic. I hadn't gone back to OBS because of the frame rate issue and since I had the option of Shadowplay it seemed like a good idea to use it! I've now given up on it and OBS is working sweet anyways. Doing very well. Thank God for the fancy pants laptop! Peace.
  8. A hidden gas planet that we can find through randomly searching beyond Eeloo's orbit. It becomes visible only once to have plotted an encounter. Peace.
  9. It just so happens I'm in the business of forgiveness! But, you may not be on the wrong track. KER should and does display an atmospheric adjusted deltaV when using stock or FAR, without a KIDS adjustment. In those cases KER displays a higher deltaV when 'atmospheric' isn't toggled. When it is, and I create a rocket with 3500 or 4500 for FAR or stock, I manage to get to orbit. When I use KIDS, and use the setting FAR to STOCK atmosphere with KER displaying the 'Atmospheric' adjustment KER will say that craft only has a deltaV of 1900 or so, but the non atmosphere reading is the same as without KIDS. 1900 AND it still makes orbit? I think it is KER that has the issue. All in all, it isn't the biggest worry in the world now. 1.0 due for release in the near future and KIDS was only to look at FAR style with deltaV requirements. Thanks for your thoughts on the subject!
  10. Awesome, that was very helpful! However, Shadowplay is still not recording. It does come up with the frame rate, but no recording icon. It doesn't save any recording nor seem to use the temp folder either. Does anyone have a solution?
  11. Hi, I have the same problem - but I'm not sure what you mean by the 1098h - (no h in haxadecimal?) I'm trying to utilise NotePad++ as my hexeditor. Can you please point me in the right direction? Peace.
  12. I'm trying to utilise the FAR to Stock Atmosphere only Yes I had a 'doh!' moment, realised I was on KER 1.0.13.1. Updated to 1.0.15.2, and the TWRs are more accurate I think (they certainly dropped and better able to see if I was going to be able to lift off), but the deltaV is still way off - 1900dV should not get me to orbit, even with FAR! What I'm wondering is that KER isn't accounting for the scaling deltaV in the atmosphere. Turning off the atmosphere toggle in KER with the FAR to STOCK option gives the correct deltaV (same as KIDS stock option), or on using the Mun toggle in KER. So, its more workable, but not perfect, unless I am still missing something?
  13. Not sure what I am doing wrong, but KER doesn't seem to adjust accurately. What KER shows as a 5000dV or so rocket in three stages with KIDS Stock only changes to around 1900dV when using the FAR to Stock settings. Also, the TWR readings are off. Using FAR, the I am still able to achieve orbit How do I get KER to display accurately with KIDS?
  14. Various angels and saints. Some of which moved around on whirlwinds. I like the idea of birds and insects though! Peace.
  15. Yes. Having them across multiple screens would be ideal so that I can 'film' a manual flight from multiple angles instead of a scripted repeat. In saying that I've been getting my head around kOS now. But that is still a bit of a pain.
  16. Thanks for the bump. Thought no one would be interested! AlbertVDS said something like this might come in a future release, that was a few weeks ago. I did try hack LazorCam but my skills in that area are SORELY lacking and I wasnt sure of the legality with it even if it was only for a visual means to an end.
  17. Hi all, I'm looking for a mod that would create resizeable windows in game that would basically act like the LazorCam mod - open two or three windows showing different camera angles. However, resizeable it MUST be! And without the borders or features that come with LazorCam. This is essentially to help create a particular cinematic stylistic dream I have - so I don't have to work out how to fly particular manoeuvres (or launch) EXACTLY the same several times over using HullcamVDS cameras to capture the manoeuvre from different angles. My fall back would be to scale up a LazorCam window (which is a set and small resolution), or learn kOS or work out how to use MechJeb to repeat the same thing over and over again. I'd even be happy with something like the Probe Control Room mod, but a black screen that only has three images of external cameras on the craft in question. However, I think it would be quite awesome to play the game mostly in map view with external mounted camera screens. Any help would be vastly appreciated! Peace.
  18. Stock camera with gui window? Awesome! Probably scanner only but hopefully easily changed to provide a series a camera view window in colour and large windows than the lazorcam mod provides. I'd be happy to be told that there is a mod for that however...
  19. I would like to see an Omega Class Destroyer from Babylon 5 or a Starfury fighter. Or both!
  20. Two things. First: I think I'd prefer to use slingshots for awesomeness, but don't because I am unsure whether I'd get it right. Secondly a question: Is there a calculator anywhere that to work out interplanetary slingshots? Peace.
  21. Great indepth transcription cheers. I feel for Maxmaps though. I was in the Christchurch NZ 2010 2011 quakes and jitters and checking house contents are a pain. I pray all is well.
  22. Deorbiting once or twice when I've drained a refeuler dry, but mostly docking. Not just reorienting but fine tuning orbits while doing a rendezvous with other heavenly bodies! Peace!
  23. Hey NecroBones, A great mod, and just tried it tonight - thanks! I seem to have an issue that the textures for the c7 tank adapter parts (added at the .90 release) don't seem to load when the textures are installed. They appear only white... any possible reason for this? Also, would you ever consider redoing the textures for the adapter parts with your style to make them all even? Peace. Edit: Actually scratch the issue - a computer restart to clear RAM solved the issue. I should have seem that coming! Thanks!
