  1. You can use electric props on an airplane, or even use the fans on an airplane. Will probably use less ec than a drone on the same size
  2. You can make an airplane (easier than a drone to fly), send a winged rocked down, the is a mod which makes airships possible, etc. No lack of methods to try. Just very difficult to pull off
  3. Not impossible, just very, very difficult. You can go into the atmosphere. , and fly, you just cant go below the nonexistent ground
  4. What kind of system are you , and where are you? Is it possible you are running and up ready system which wasn't sold for the region your in? It's possible that the time zone file may be missing, and KSP may be hanging because it can't get the time zone information.
  5. Please provide a log file (see my sig for a link about it) and also details about your system and game
  6. Due to a broken server, I have to manually update ksp.spacetux.net. I hope to have that fixed by this weekend. I've merged in a PR which fixes that, I will probably get that out tomorrow
  7. Mine too, was just wondering if there was a mod available. I never heard of one, so... I found a nice list of virtual keyboards here: https://thegeekpage.com/free-on-screen-virtual-keyboards/
  8. Very interesting, where did you see this? I've done a lot of searching, but can't find any mod which displays keys like that
  9. @DefiantZombie Could you update the thread title to indicate that this is updated for 1.8?
  10. That should be enough to figure it out. May be a shader issue, will look at it this evening
  11. No info, no help. Last time I'll say this: Read the post below to learn what you need to provide to get help.
  12. Which implies that it is, in some way, by the name Kerbal Space Program. Spaceflight Simulator (which I have) is not KSP. You should have said something like: "It is not on mobile, but a similar app is called Spaceflight Simulator"
  13. Install the correct version for 1.7.3. If using CKAN, it will get the right version, otherwise, you can download it from here: https://github.com/linuxgurugamer/CrewRandR/releases/tag/1.1.9.2 I could extend the time-off, but that would only be for 1.8.x versions Go into the stock settings page, find the tab for Crew R&R. There will be a slider which you can use to extend the max vacation days to 100
  14. No, its not. Spaceflight Simulator is a different game, with some similarities to KSP
  15. Did you come for help, or just to complain? If for help, the you need to provide some information. See the link in my signature for what to provide and where to get it
  16. New release, 0.0.1.1 Fixed landing leg category
  17. Greeting and Happy Holidays, fellow Kerbonauts, Forum user @carmics made this wonderful mod back in 2013. He seems to have left the KSP and modding scene, and since the mod was under an All Rights Reserved, no distribution allowed. It is only compatible up to 1.0.5, and is available on CurseForge, at this URL: https://www.curseforge.com/kerbal/ksp-mods/aies/download Over the years there have been a number of people asking for an update. There have been two unofficial updates, one by forum user @Deimos Rast (available on Github) and one by forum user @TK421d. @TK421d actually released a complete set of config files for the antennas. I've converted the files from @TK421d into MM patches, and am providing all these patches in a single file to download. There are two versions of the antennas, one with the patches from @Deimos Rast and one with the patches from @TK421d. For the patches I wrote to apply the same changes as @tk421d's version, I only moved the antenna info over, the base part information was copied from the @Deimos Rast's patches. A spreadsheet is included with the mod showing the values for the different files. This spreadsheet is also available online here: http://bit.ly/2PXRAup Installation There are two ways to install the AIES mod for 1.8.1. The first is a direct download and manual install, the second is using CKAN Recommended method to install is via CKAN. CKAN Install The last version of the mod was for KSP 1.0.5. You will need to change a setting in CKAN to allow it to be downloaded. Follow these steps: When at the CKAN main window, click Settings, and then select the menu item Compatible KSP Versions Scroll down until you see 1.0, and put a check in the checkbox at the left of the 1.0 Click Accept After CKAN has refreshed itself, type AIES in the entry field for "Filter by mod name" You will see one line for "AIES Aerospace", and three lines for "AIES Continued" Select "AIES Aerospace" Select the first "AIES Continued" Now select one of the other two configs for the antenna settings you want (see spreadsheet here: http://bit.ly/2PXRAup for a comparison) Click "Apply Changes" and wait for the mod & patches to be installed Now to undo the compatibility change. Click Settings, and then select the menu item Compatible KSP Versions Scroll down until you see 1.0, and remove the check in the checkbox at the left of the 1.0 Click Accept Manual Install Folder Info: DeimosRast Antenna patches from @Deimos Rast TK421d Antenna patches derived from @TK421d's AIES Antenna Revamp thread Patches The rest of the patches from @Deimos Rast Download the full AIES version 1.6.1 from Curse here: https://www.curseforge.com/kerbal/ksp-mods/aies/download This link will download the file after a 5 second countdown. You will then need to install the mod by hand the normal way. There are three folders inside the AIES_Continued folder. See the table above for the descriptions Note that the @Deimos Rast and @TK421d folders conflict with each other. Copy the entire AIES_Patches folder to the GameData directory Delete one of these folders: AIES_Continued/DemiosRast AIES_Continued/TK421d Optional Texture Conversion and Compression Download the program DDS4kSP from this link: https://github.com/Telanor/DDS4KSP/releases/tag/v1.0.5605 You will need to use an unarchiving program which understands RAR format archives; 7zip is one that I use (7-Zip is free software with open source). DDS4KSP converts .mbm directly to .dds and I think it detects whether there are alpha channels in the texture, so it should when to automatically save as DXT1 or DXT5 Select the folder (which can include subdirectories), adjust settings if needed (default shown), click "Convert", wait a couple minutes, and Voila!!... Special thanks goes out to COL.R.Neville and MeCripp for their assistance, as well as to those who provided patches in the past. You made this much easier than it otherwise would have been - much appreciated! ============================================================================================================= Revamped Credits: ============================================================================================================= Original Patch Compilation by @Deimos Rast Tag patch by @DeltaDizzy Thank you to @blowfish for helping me through MM syntax for tag replacement
  18. I’m releasing a mod today called AIES Patches, which includes a number of antennas. There is also the following: Here is a link to a Google Sheets spreadsheet which lists all the stats for many antennas, grouped by mod: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1zXtEa9nvJCZntKiNYBH6pFnlhvhfsPPP4QRv-npBiss
  19. Only Kerbin, I believe, and only I'm the editor And it essentially shows you the results for each stage
  20. I just updated ksp.spacetux.net which hosts all my mod's version files, they should be up-to-date now I've been having a problem with a daemon not properly getting the info from github, I'm working on replacing it tomorrow Also, for anyone who might be interested, I'll be doing an all-day stream tomorrow, morning modding, afternoon playing the game
  21. Forget a mod manager, I'd like some standards set for what a mod has to adhere to. For example, directory structure, standardized way to save configs, etc. CKAN has gotten a lot better over the years
  22. New release, 1.4.1.3 Fixed a few more Unity calls, were causing mod to hang when getting changelogs Disabled all old *** malicious site we no longer use *** code
