South-West Launch Site - Kerbal Konstructs Content

So, is this going to evolve into a pack of several KK launch sites, or is the Woomera one the only site you plan on doing? -
totm june 2018 Work-in-Progress [WIP] Design Thread
pTrevTrevs replied to GusTurbo's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
I'll try these. I may make a bigger biplane that can tow the Boxkite into the air, and release that as a craft, but I really want to construct a fully functional yet stock Bristol Boxkite. I've tried ion engines, and the amount of ASL thrust they produce is laughable. I'll try out monoprop engines or possibly ant engines, but then the maximum flight time is only about 1 minute. -

Since KSP doesn't seem to have a suitable engine for my Bristol Boxkite, I decided to do flight tests with a tow glider variant. This didn't work. I need a car or truck that can reach high enough speeds to pull this thing off the ground. Right now, I'm using AMRSD's Willys jeep, but it can only manage 18 m/s with the Boxkite attached. I need some help here. -

I feel that I should mention that upon attempting to download this file from KerbalStuff, Chrome tried to stop the download because it thought your mod was malware. You may want to get that checked. -

Well, I would sooner see a smaller jet engine in the game than propellers. With a choice of two engines (three if you count the rapier, but that's irrelevant in my case) for aircraft as opposed to a choice of at least a dozen different engines of all forms and fashions for rockets, it makes it really hard to build small planes. -

These biplanes are hard to build when the only engines you have to choose from are either too big to fit on the plane or won't give you the kind of power/efficiency you need to get airborne. Squad really needs to add a 0.625 meter jet engine. Or, you know, propeller engines. Just saying... -
Damn... That's really great! Expect more requests from me in the future! Have some well earned rep!

Kerbal Cookie Program (Download available)
pTrevTrevs replied to pTrevTrevs's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Hmm, later than I thought. I expected the first person to comment to ask for it. Okay, I'll post one as soon as I can tear myself away from Empire: Total War. EDIT: Sorry, man, I can't upload a DL, KerbalX isn't playing nice right now. I'll try again tomorrow, but it won't be until at least 6:30pm, (US Central Time Zone) because I have lots of irl stuff to do. (The gods of marching band demand a sacrifice) -

Kerbal Cookie Program (Download available)
pTrevTrevs posted a topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Someone told me to make cookies. I made them. What am I doing with my life... Anyway, I made a mixer and bowl too. The mixer doesn't spin or anything, it just looks good. I ran out of chocolate chips, so seismometers had to be used as a substitue. Don't worry, all the big fast food chains already use worse stuff than scientific instruments! For baking, I added an aerospace grade "Fast Cook Turbo Oven" mounted above the pan. No, it's not a rocket engine, it's only derived from one! There's also a spatula next to the pan, and some hand grips so you don't burn yourself when you decide to be an idiot and move the pan. I should probably be doing something more productive with my Sunday afternoon, but instead I'm here, building freakin' cookies in KSP. Someone help me, I'm a danger to myself... I'm not going to post a DL unless someone asks for it, because I can find no reason for anyone to want to download this other than to spite me for not thinking anyone would download this. EDIT: Someone asked for a download: http://kerbalx.com/pTrevTrevs/Kerbal-Cookie-Program Watch this thread get like a hundred pages worth of replies. -

I need 21 more for my last dark green bar. Hmm, gotta think of something that will make all the people love me... -
How have I not heard of this place before now?!? Can you fix up these pictures of my Typhoon class submarine? If possible, I'd like the pictures to look like they were taken during a snowstorm, with overcast/foggy skies, and maybe add a thick smoke trail and some engine light on the one with the missile launch. I can't wait to see these when they're done...

That just made my day. I don't know if we're even allowed to say things like that here, but I'm giving you rep anyway. -
Kepler Space Telescope w/Delta II
pTrevTrevs replied to Yukon0009's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Looking nice! Delta II is one of my favorite modern rockets, in part due to the fact that it launched the Mars Exploration Rovers, which are single-handedly responsible for making me the space nerd I am today. Kepler itself is pretty good too, interesting use of the Round-8 tanks. Did this craft's creation have anything to do with the fact that Kepler just discovered one of the most earth-like exoplanets a few days ago? -
I challenge you to make a sentry that can upgrade itself from Tier 1 to Tier 3! You can use IR if you want, but you get bonus points for doing it stock, it it's even possible.

I am, it's nice to see small propeller craft like this instead of Murica fever inducing high performance fighter jets. Have some rep!

Detailed StarWars AT-ST [static craft]
pTrevTrevs replied to Majorjim!'s topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Tell me, does that cockpit have detail? Or is it just an empty shell with nothing in it save the seats themselves? I hate empty shells. -
I watched the launch! They had a little plush R2-D2 hanging from the control panel!

It seems like you would have to attach the control surfaces for each wing independently, so the action group only chooses them one at a time instead of both. Is this correct? -
Yeah, that's right. I got lazy and didn't fact check. Thanks for clarifying.

I've seen the KV-2's turret referred to as the Glory To Stalin Derp Turret. It seems quite fitting, doesn't it?
