Worked a treat thank you! Edited my post before in case anyone stumbles across
-
Ah great thank you, I'll give that a go after work !! I wish i knew this yesterday! It took a long time to add model = to every sspx part. Knowledge isnt just power, its time as well apparently Thank you!

Hey I made some configs if anyone needs CommNet Antennas Extension Surface Mounted Lights Stockalike Station Parts Expansion The majority of these are already included within \GameData\MagpieMods\TU_Cfgs\Misc2.cfg but they dont include the most recent additions to SSPX. Best way is to remove any of SSPX lines from Misc2.cfg and replace them with the ones below.

The latest one is 1.11.0, Works fine for me in 1.12.2

[1.12.x] Parallax - PBR Terrain and Surface Objects [2.0.8]
Squeaky replied to Gameslinx's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Great thank you @Gameslinx !! Do I just delete the city lights folder? I know this isnt a Parallax thing, so i can run away and ask in EVE or AVP threads, no problem. EDIT: Found it sorry. If anyone else stumbles on this in the future, you can disable city lights in the EVE menu in game Click EVE App Icon at the space centre >> go across to city lights >> remove >> Apply >> then save Hope it helps someone ^.^- 3,158 replies

[1.12.x] Parallax - PBR Terrain and Surface Objects [2.0.8]
Squeaky replied to Gameslinx's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
I don't suppose anyone can point me in the right direction as to whats going on here: I think it's either Parallax or Astronomers Visual Pack (or one of the dependencies) I'm installing everything via CKAN onto 1.12.2, reinstalled KSP and purged CKAN's cache and redownloaded. If i only have Parallax installed theres no issue, and if i only have AVP installed theres no issues. Only happens with both? I imagine its a conflicting texture but not sure what i need to do. Appreciate any help, and sorry if i've posted this in the wrong place ^.^- 3,158 replies

[1.12.x] Near Future Technologies (September 6)
Squeaky replied to Nertea's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Tested it and yes. Engineers can move NF Solar panels around and re attach them Only some of them can be put into containers though due to there size / mass. I did have an issue with the containers not showing any icons though, but will test it without any other mods and try and reproduce it etc before posting as a bug on git ^.^ -
[1.12.x] Near Future Technologies (September 6)
Squeaky replied to Nertea's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Wow @Rakete thank you!! I was half expecting a "Stop moaning and just download them" but think you have genuinely sorted me for next few months. I'm going to follow that route as that seems spot on what I was looking for, and i'll be back in October for what you found next I think 1.12 needed a little longer in the oven, but at the same time I can understand that they wanted it out for the anniversary, certainly more stable than some releases recently. Also agree with the insane pace of the mod updates not to mention the quality and also research into the real world physics (or theoretical physics in NF and FF 's case) Thanks again for the advice, hugely appreciated, looks like i have a date with CKAN. -
[1.12.x] Near Future Technologies (September 6)
Squeaky replied to Nertea's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Apologies if this is a bone question or the wrong place to post it. I sometimes find that with NF I install all of them and tend to get a bit overwhelmed what to use where in the VAB. Can anyone recommend which ones to install and try out first ? "Try installing these 3 first and go from there" for example. I was thinking maybe, electrical, solar and propulsion maybe? or is it just a case of, install all of them and just get stuck in, you'll get used to it? Also thank you @Nertea, awesome work as always. I held off on 1.12 until Restock was updated and was 100% worth the wait! -
Woop, updated for 1.12.1 ! Didnt expect this one to come back and didnt want to be that guy to ask Thank you for the update

Many thanks chaps, that's tomorrow already planned then !

I don't suppose anyone knows how well SXT plays with 1.10 ? Happy to do some testing if it helps. Appreciate the listed version is 1.9 but happy to help if i can in some way. This mod adds sweet niche parts I'm missing before starting a 1.10 play

CKAN (The Comprehensive Kerbal Archive Network); v1.28.0 - Dyson
Squeaky replied to politas's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Hi All, Just thought I'd post this in here in case it helps anyone in future: The old Deprecated version of Probe Control Room is incorrectly labelled as working on any version of KSP. Installing this version on 1.9.1 removes all of your Probe Cores (Including modded) and also breaks saves containing them, Installing LinuxGuruGamers continuation (Probe Control Room Recontrolled) works as intended and should be used on versions later than 1.0.4 Judging by the old thread Old Thread: https://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/index.php?/topic/61250-104wipivaplugin-probecontrolroom-10-beta10a-iva-all-the-things-notsoshaky/ CKAN Wizards, is it possible to amend the version for the deprecated mod from any to 1.0.4 ? The original author hasnt been active since 2016 so doubt we'd get any confirmation from them Apologies if posted in the wrong place, i took a look at the FAQ but couldnt spot anything that fits this -
[1.12.x] Probe Control Room Recontrolled
Squeaky replied to linuxgurugamer's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Hope this helps someone in future, or possibly worth popping on the front page of this thread or if this is something more for CKAN thread If installing this mod via CKAN and all of your probe cores are missing you've installed wrong one. The old deprecated version of this mod is labelled as working on any version of KSP when it actually removes all of your Probe Cores from the VAB and also breaks saves. Installing this version (Probe Control Room Recontrolled ) works with no problems Thanks LinuxGuruGamer for maintaining !! (Not tagged as i know it annoys some people ) Sorry if i've posted this in the wrong place, i'll delete if you need ***EDIT*** I've asked them to amend in the CKAN Forum -
[1.12.5] Restock - Revamping KSP's art (August 28)
Squeaky replied to Nertea's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
Thanks everyone involved in this, I can't play KSP without ReStock and ReStock+ I'm not sure if I'm just really dense and not reading the below correctly. I was wondering if it means that the Soviet style command pods wont get a healthy coat of the ReStock paint ? Or if it means that separate parts will be added into ReStock+ that cover the MH parts. I think I'm over complicating something that is probably really obvious Sorry if its a stupid question I had a look through a fair few pages on this thread to see if it had been asked previously but I'll admit i didnt go through all 54. -
Thanks @Avera9eJoe & @Yoloking Mapping You're both quite right. I think i was operating under the guise of "It doesnt look like SVE so must be broken" mind set After playing till 2am though and comparing with my old SVE screenshots, your both quite right and does look more realistic. Thanks Joe, keep up the great work ! (And every other KSP modder off course !)

Hi all, I'm migrating from SVE after using it for years and heard good things about Spectra I've got a clean install from 1.9.1 and have only Spectra installed from CKAN - Spectra - Scatterer - PlanetShine - Eve - Distant Object Enhancement I'm noticing a bit of red / pink around the outside of Kerbin though and wasn't sure if this was intended or if i've goofed somewhere. Or if anyone knows of a way i could turn it down a notch. (I removed EVE so you could see it a bit more clearly) I had a look at a few other screenshots of Spectra and the trailer video and it didnt seem as strong but could be my eyes being weird. I know its a minor thing but any helps appreciated

@linuxgurugamer Probably a stupid question, but if i get Steam to download 1.7.3 from the beta's tab and copy the .dds from that one will that work ? Didnt know if it needed to be a specific version or not sorry ? ...also Thank you for this mod and the ridiculous number of other mods you keep alive ! Soon as I have some form of disposable income i'll donate [Opens fresh can of dog food for dinner]

Thanks for keeping this going @linuxgurugamer and the kerzillion other mods !! (I counted .... There's exactly a kerzillion)
