  1. I did, but not on the new testing environment I tried. The issue was present even without Pluronkhato However, I just tested with the recolor and tilt sigma mod version, and the rings display normally, so I'll be sticking with that
  2. Just to check even further, I completely uninstalled outer planets and all the cloud packs, went ahead and redownloaded everythig from scratch, and still got the issue as described I will now be testing if this happens even with the Sigma recolored and tilted pack, and report back
  3. Hello My setup is currently Linux (Kubuntu), KSP 64bit 1.0.2, with Outer planets, Interstellar visual pack, EVE and Sigma Mod expansion (only Pluron an Karon) What's funny is that if I try on Windows, even on the 64 bit version, this doesn't happen
  4. I'll be honest, I can't think of any easy, interesting way to spice the KSC contracts up. It's nice that they give an early direction about things to do... but newbies don't really look for mods, do they? They'd have to add something that even a veteran has never seen at the KSC... and I really can't come up with any simple way to add these (well there are, but they are basically ideas for an entire new mod, rather than a simple change) Maybe if there was a way to detect when someone is landed on top of the VAB or other structures like that, and ask them to do some simple stuff like EVA report? But that's not really it either...
  5. Gotcha. Regarding the second point, should these contracts really ask you to do science at KSC with science equipment that's like 3000 science to unlock? Especially considering what you said about them disappearing once you go interplanetary...
  6. oh... that could be.. problematic, considering my hag is automatically blocking every port no matter what I do... Well, thanks anyways!
  7. Hello there! Question for anyone here. I assumed that the telemachus data being broadcast would be accessible to anyone if I give them the correct IP adress... yet I can't seem to be able to do that. Is the data only accessible locally?
  8. Hello there! First off, awesome! Second off. There's some weird interaction between this contract pack and Station science. I've seen a lot of "science at KSP" missions pop up... requesting things like Zoology bay, prograde quarks experiments... which don't work in kerbin! Also, shouldn't those contracts ask you to do research with modules you have unlocked?
  9. Well, this worked ok for a whole 2 days... Today, however, the problems started. There seems to be some heavy stuttering going on, despite the framerate being listed as being quite stable at 25fps. Hiding the UI somewhat alleviates it, but not by much I cannot be a performance issue, as KSP is listed as using just above 5gb or ram out of my 16 total @Gaultesian from what I've tested, the 3 big mods that are incompatible with 64bit Win are FAR, DRE and realchutes
  10. wait, what about these don't work in 1.0.2? I've been using it directly from CKAN and, as far as I can tell, they've been working just fine...
  11. I've always thought to be an averagely smart person Then I tried KSP Interstellar Now I'm convinced I'm just stupid Great mod, far too complex for me though >_>
  12. Out of curiosity, have you thought of using custom asteroids to populate the rings with some rocks? Sorry if this is unfeasible/unlikely!
  13. Fiddling around, I found out that the Mono file we actually need to transfer is the one under "Editor/Data/PlaybackEngines/windowsstandalonesupport/Variations/win64_nondevelopment/DATA/MONO", and NOT simply data/mono Just pointing it out, it wasn't exactly clear
  14. Hello there, I'm having a bit of a problem following your instructions. You say to search for the path "/Data/mono"... but I don't see any file named "mono.dll" inside of it Thanks! EDIT: While I did find the file mono.dll inside the nested folder /mono/EmbedRuntime, I've copied it inside of the folder KSP_Data/Mono to replace the previous one, and on starting the 64bit executable it returns the following error: Unable to load mono library from "C:/Users/User/Desktop/KSP 64bit test/KSP_Data/Mono/mono.dll" (error = 193). EDIT2: the error is the same after using steam to clear my previous KSP folder, redownloading everything, and applying all steps once more
  15. I recently had some issues with drivers, so I did a complete wipe of the OS, and reinstalled everything from scratch I'm running an Nvidia Geforce GTX 850m with the proprietary Nvidia drivers
  16. Hello there! First, you're awesome, and these packs are awesome I'm having a bit of a hiccup right now. I've installed the Astronomer-interstellar cloud pack, and the rings of Sarnus have turned bright white! What have I done wrong? Thanks!
  17. Thanks. Changing mouse polling rate helped somewhat, and now dragging doesn't stutter However, the UI is still a major source for the remaining of the stuttering
  18. Hello there! Quick question for a slight hiccup I've just installed the cloud package for Outer planets for Astronomer's visual pack, and the rings of Sarnus have turned bright white. Have I done something wrong? Thanks for the awesome stuff!
  19. I'm guessing because of the OpenGl flag this doesn't work on Linux, right?
  20. is it as simple as reducing mouse DPI, or is there another trick to it? Thanks for the reply
  21. I hate to do this, but any assistance would really be welcome...
