  1. I made my Eve base. The balloon fits in a 3.75m fairing. The science lab has a porch for observations. The rocket below is boosted to around 7500 m/s by the balloon and then released. The rocket then boosts the two kerbals to a 110 km orbit. I deem it a sucsesssful mission, all thanks to AirPark!
  2. This mod reminds me of an old Looney Tunes. Definitely using it for my Eve mission!
  3. I have no pictures, but the slope downwards begins halfway between either end of the desert, and ends just past the KSP island.
  4. The mk. 1 and inline cockpit are not very well suited to spaceplanes anymore. They burn up in the atmosphere, only after deorbiting from 75 km! Do I need to change how I build, or should I wait until 1.0.5.x?
  5. When 1.0 came out, I thought, "Well there goes Deadly Reentry, Kethane, FAR..." While DR and FAR are replaced pretty well by the stock system, the lack of a persistent resource map brought me back to Kethane. Then I remembered the goodies that came with, like the airless jet engine (how does that work without air, anyway?), the Soylent Gas, and the compatibility with Extraplanetary Launchpads. Long story short, go Kethane! Let's see how much it can keep growing!
  6. Alas, I rebuilt it after the first "ungluing". Well, it works well with KJR, and that's fine with me.
  7. I wasn't thinking stripped down like no surround sound in it, I was thinking like a paddleboat (pedalo if you are British) edition. . Also, I realized my install has Kerbal Joint Reinforcement in it. When I removed it, the mod was broken. Parts broke apart simply by loading, which didn't happen with vanilla Maritime Pack. Is that just the problem with such big parts?
  8. From what it seems the Deep Flight is handmade, and is not mass produced in any way. If they start making lower-spec ones with a shallower crush depth that are easier to construct I would definitely be interested.
  9. This is really cool! The Diesel/Electric-esque system is good for balance and the whole set works surprisingly well. Now, I have a question. Would it be possible to make a "aquaplane" part set, like the one in this video? I don't know how easily a the firespitter code would work with a plane that loses the ability to float when moving and gains it when slow.

  11. Still trying to improve the Helis and SSTOs and beautifying them, but I've also made a plane that uses Bonnie. It's the plane I'm most proud of, and the most useful. BTW, if you are changing the crew capacity of Clyde, add another seat into Bonnie. It seems like it would fit.

  13. Needed something faster than a rover, but could fit in a fairing for a mission to Duna. So, I built this! Has a average speed of 134 m/s (300 miles per hour), and I was able to, with 3x time acceleration and a few charging breaks, to cross the northern ice cap of Duna in 20 minutes!

  15. Cool, does this mean that the crew capacity of Clyde will be expanded to six? I've been using it a lot in my helicopters/ STOLs and that would make it even more useful!
  16. I've been trying to work with the Genie, but aiming it is a real pain in the neck. Can we please get a target icon like a BDA machine gun please? Also, I've been trying to work with the Genie for a while as a land armament. May I pretty please have a Davy Crockett?
  17. The Wikipedia page for the Genie says that the missile was unguided. Is that true with the NKD version? Precision strikes would be cool. EDIT: Yay! New version! You even finished making the BAE Railgun.
