  1. Thats a good idea for those that don't quite have the cpu and gpu under the hood to handle it. But I would suggest maybe a readme with some info on how to enable multiple planets at once. Maybe.... "Maybe" limit the number of people asking "why doesn't mine do that" when the screen shots start posting.
  2. its a conflict with Active Texture Management. You'll need to either remove ATM of just direct it around IR rework. There is more info in the OP about "black textures"
  3. Are you looking under "Structural" I was looking under the BD folder at first my self.
  4. Could you put the charge on rails somehow? Like a planet orbiting another planet when dropped, then have a countdown long enough so you can get away from it?
  5. Resist additional system upgrades when you have enough mods your hitting 10GB of usage, and you still want more
  6. The MEM Is not available for download currently. But if you still have it, the nodes will need to be inverted as well as the engines will be heavily overpowered. There may also be some other quarks I'm un aware of but, if you still have the MEM files and need help PM me.

  11. I build VTOLS like that all the time, so that's totally do able. So build your VTOL just as you have. But when setting limits for the Rotatrons. You will have one Rotatron moving normally and one inverted. Set the limits of the normal one first (so 0 to 90). Now on the inverted one set it's limits as if you where running it backwards (0 to -90 with the invert button unchecked). Once it's limits have been set to mirror the other sides movements. Now press the invert button so they both move at the same time in the same direction and presto, working VTOL Rotatron's.
  12. I agree and you as well as Gaalidas are absolutely right. And in hind sight that probably just came accross as a 32 / 64 bit rant. Didn't intend that, sorry. And most definitely. If you like x64 great, but bug tracking and all has been much harder for the devs ever since x64 was introduced. I run both for this reason. I won't report a bug unless I can reproduce it in my 32 bit install with no other mods, saves everyone a lot of headache.
  13. Well as far as tweakscale. I wrote an MM patch for now. That way I could leave everything in the kerbal dynamics folder alone. Would you like me to toss it up here for those interested as a stop gap measure? Until you have everything exactly how you'd like it?
  14. What causes a crash in x64 is super high part count ships and bouncing in and out of the VAB and flight. I run Win 7 x64 with over 50 mods. Works great, but I do deal with crashes every now and then when I work on my super detailed builds.

A Tweakable with "Stealth" the more "Stealth" you add the heavier the plane becomes. If you want to be invisible to radar it will affect its maneuverability to avoid the defenses it is hiding from. That would be cool.
  17. That looks so much better with a texture on it! One suggestion though. What about either a smaller / tighter CF pattern, or even just a dark grey kinda flat maybe? - The HD Wheels are looking Great!
  18. Scoundrel, First off I just downloaded this mod and I love the racks you've made! Really going to add to those scale builds. One suggestion though. Could you either add Tweakscale (I know a lot of people are torn on TW) or could you add a larger triple rack? Reason being is for the triple AGM mounts on say a B-52. Currently the triple rack is too small for the AGM I know this isn't the exact picture but you get the idea
  19. That's a bit bleak don't you think? Kanadarm wasn't a bad one. And you can build any arm with IR. But this Canadarm pack looks to be a really great replica of the real thing. I say great job and go for it.

  21. Yanfret, Here is one for you. An Orion that has enough fuel in the upper stage to burn to the moon, make a course adjustment. The 2 stage lander and capsule are so light you can circularize around the moon with just the service module. As well as burn back to Kerbin plotting a deceleration burn into the atmosphere running out of fuel just in time to re enter
  22. Struts are your bread and butter, you can't ever have enough of them. That being said B9 aerospace has some invisible struts that work great when you want to go from mid wing to body but have it look streamlined. For instance this is made from over 30 B9 P-wing sections and has 8-10 invisible struts holding it together.

  24. Hey welcome to the forums. So yes the rotors are like any other engine. They require fuel and air to function. So you need to install intakes somewhere on the craft. Think of air like electricity its not there so the engine won't even turn on.
