  1. Alexustas just updated the ALCOR pod, so there are new shiny things inside to further polish off his masterpiece. The monkey rover internals came from the ALCOR Thanks MeCripp and Yanfret
  2. Ok when you installed AVP did you drop in a lens flare or the main menu logo? The asset files are compiled for KSP .25 and won't work with 1.0.4. I had pink boxes all over the place when I was still learning and tried to put a lens flare in .90. The Pink box in the lower right is the animated loading prompt. It has been corrupted. And the IVA cams I thought were always laggy like that? I have instructions on that post 2 pages back for the flares if that's the case. And as far as 40fps, did you use my instructions on how to hit 60-120 fps?
  3. This is looking amazing! Honestly I think I'm going to trade in my 8k planet textures when you release this!
  4. Really great work Alex! Finally made me like the MK1-2 pod. Looks like a deep space Cadillac.
  5. Yanfret, I thought I would suggest switching the IVA in the bobcat capsule to the newly released MK 1-2 IVA from alexustas. As it is currently the IVA from the ALCOR pod. Might make it a little more streamlined / varied from the monkey rover http://kerbalstuff.com/mod/1022/%27MK1-2%20%20Pod%27%20IVA%20Replacement%20by%20ASET Besides that, Thanks for all your hard work. It looks great!
  6. Yeah like I said ATM has it's place. If you want to run 32 bit it's a necessity!
  7. Ok that is weird! Do you use any kind of rescaling mod? Like 64K or what not? It's as though the planet is too big for the clouds. Or are you possibly using EVE WIP? This really works best with EVE 7-4. I have this working on my machine at home with Scatterer and all kinds of extras. I will check my cfg's and if I need to send you some stuff I can. Also did you happen to see my post with tips and tricks 2 pages back? http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/102145-0-25-Astronomer-s-Visual-Pack-Interstellar-V2?p=2064915&viewfull=1#post2064915
  8. Oh man! Why would you go and do that to us! Our needs of pixel detonating madness are far more important than your education...... Have fun Prometheus, RL always needs to come first.
  9. Low altitude clouds? Could you post a screenie. I'm not sure I grasp what you mean. I've been avoiding ATM since .25 as I had more issue trying to make it work and not kill the resolution of IVA's and buttons. Don't get me wrong it's great and irreplaceable when trying to reduce your memory footprint for certain machines. But if you have the hardware for it. It's often better to just drink the coolaid and run 64 bit to open up the memory limit. - I know I'm a broken record on this one for those that have seen me post this before, but hey it just works.
  10. Ok I'm a dummy, I just looked and the latest version is only 15 hours old I must have a previous version. Sorry for the false alarm. I'll download the new version and try not to blow myself up. No guaranties for the Kerbals. I only just realized it was missing on my install last night. As I was working on a shuttle with Sarbian's space shuttle engines, and just then noticed the Tweakable was missing for the gimbal.
  11. Blowfish, I also just now realized The plugin for the KM Gambol is missing. There is a license file there but no plugin. Was this deliberate? If I'm not mistaken this isn't even updated anyway correct?
  12. RPM was recently updated and I do not believe B9's RPM components have been updated to match. RPM made some breaking changes last update. If you want it working now, just use kerbal stuff to source the last version.
  13. I take it you are running a kitchen sink of mods on top of Scatterer?.... Me too. 64 bit Windows is possible, just don't drive the devs crazy with "bugs" 64bit Hack http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/...ity-workaround I run this with AVP / EVE on a GTX 970 so NVidia will play nice. Just don't use OpenGL. I also have some more tips and tricks I didn't want to clutter Blackracks thread with, on my thread linked in my signature below.
  14. Lots and lots of SAS. I have a few VTOLs capable of A-symmetrical lifting. But those payloads need to be light. If you want to lift heavier stuff. Like one of my VTOLs can lift a full orange tank at under 3/4 throttle. Those kinds of loads would really need to be centered under / over your COM. You might be able to launch a VTOL from your hellicarrier? just a thought.
  15. Lots of trial and error till I found the right way to run so many mods. And yes it is cheating but I only play on sandbox so eh.
  16. Robzylla Requested cfg files for Spanners solid axle I can't find my cfg files for Rollkage at the moment.
  17. Wouldn't that make the ammo explosive as well? Maybe just a specific projectile, like the cannon ammo? Would that not work for your purposes to use that and just make it more explosive and travel at a higher speed with more mass? I tweaked the 105 to blow up the VAB with one shot back in .90
  18. Oh man I still have one of these in my parents attic, Truly great job man! Rep +1
  19. Nice! I really like the split tail as well as the detail under the plane. First couple pictures look almost too simple, but I didn't notice all the detail you put under it. So do I see 3 bomb rotors? Looks like you've bested be my friend, keep it up.
  20. Yup Gaalidas is right, the node definitions became more "strict" So Top is regular and the bottom node needs to be inverted. And looking over the cfg for the rover body, your nodes are defined in the .mu file correct? So before you would have node_stack_top = 0.00, 0.4, 1.98, 0.00, 0.00, 1.00, 1 node_stack_bottom = 0.00, 0.4, -1.6, 0.00, 0.00, -1.00, 1 and now you would have node_stack_top = 0.00, 0.4, 1.98, 0.00, 0.00, 1.00, 1 node_stack_bottom = 0.00, 0.4, -1.6, -0.00, 0.00, -1.00, 1 But because you defined them in the .mu file I honestly don't know how to fix that.
  21. I think BD answered this on the last page. And on that note, BD That looks fantastic! I can't wait to see the finished product. I really like the idea of a COM lock as well as the ability to control the turrets. That never occurred to me.
  22. The launch order of bombs and missiles can be manipulated. Think first in first out. For instance my B-2 had numerous bombs and missiles inside. But the first bombs dropped the mk-82's. Where the first bombs placed in the whole thing. Or the cruise missiles which were side by side. Again the first one fired was the first one placed. The other thing about the Skewer in the B-2 is each of the bomb standoffs where place individually by first. Building the skewer, then setting no limits on the Rotatron or the Uncontrolled Rotatron, but setting presets at 60 degree intervals from -180 to 180. Then cycle between the presets one at a time placing a payload of your choice with the angle snap tool on, from your start position to the final payload. Then in flight it will fallow the same sequence. So set your weapon manager on the first payload and it will automatically cycle to the next when you run out of bombs / missiles in that slot. If you want a symmetrical payload of bombs or missiles this is far simpler. Just setup the skewer as stated above. Then simply place one bomb standoff with a payload of your choosing, under the skewer with radial symmetry turned on and 6 of them mirrored around the skewer. That's how my first B-2 with 6 cruise missiles was built. So the "first" one placed will be the "first" to fire. This would be the one exposed when the bay is open. Then between BD's bomb clearance check and the rotation of the skewer it works like a charm. If the firing order is reversed from the rotation of the skewer just invert your action group advance / return buttons and cycle it in the opposite direction. On a side note, if you want to post pictures and info about your plane you are working on. My advanced aircraft thread linked in my signature could benefit from your input. Besides it would be better to talk about this kind of stuff over there.
