Why docking ports and not the Claw?
Mikki replied to Sharpy's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Hi Sharpy I can use the Klaw without summoning the Kraken... on surface its well for ressource transport, i havent tried yet to press some kerbals through it, hm, going to do this next. However, the crewtransferoption is a shortcut for convenience, i assume it should work. -
Koviet Space Program A Career of Uncertainty
Mikki replied to Landwalker's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
Hi As a direct neighbour of the former U.S.S.R i appreciate the "social" character of your Task very much. Have in mind that they saved the whole planet several times from utter destruction, and their tech is different and highly reliable... Good luck Komrade! -
Freedom of choice, within the engine limits i can let my ideas roll of my brain like nowhere else. This game should be mandatory education for schoolkids, and a generation will grow up that will bring us off this planet and survive somewhere else... Maybe:P. No seriously, nothing is impossible.

1.0.4 and very lucky with.

Hello Dr Farnsworth Steam says: "1637 hours". I usually exit the game via "Space center", then "Quit the Game", or in the VAB/SPH by pressing the red button, as mentioned above... Sometimes i fall asleep. Mostly i wake up and decide to quit. Really easy. Since i discovered KSP i cant play anything else anymore. I consider me as KSP addicted. Where can i get some help? Fortunatly i have some interesting RL work where i can get some distance to SQUADs evil invention...

My mining crew makes a break after a few days of intensive equipmenttesting. Valentina in the left. Careerplay...

Hi annallia I pretty sure that you dont need so much huge landinggear on your concorde, the big gear add alot of mass and drag... nice craft:)
-
I use the Klaw to transfer ressources, thats the way it goes on surface. Sometimes it works also with dockingports, but there is no guarantee, if there is vertical angular difference on ground they will not clamp properly. The Klaw works perfect for me !

Me wonders... Thanks to all voters in advance. As The Yellow Dart further below allready mentioned it could be a challenge to start from a launchpad at higher latitude. And starting/ landing your Spaceplane or aircraft in another angle than 90° east is maybe also entertaining. AlphaAsh provides a nice Mod called KerbinSide allready, but i ask for a stock build simple alternative... Find his mod in his Signature furter below!

Hi Josson SSD makes loading faster... and texture load from partmods does break down any 32 bit system, narrow pipes. I wait for a eventual 64 bit release, and then i grab again some nice partmods from necrobones and others...

Setting up a massive oredrillingcampaign on Minmus: Found a nice place with high yield... After doing some math i can drill day and night, even at highnoon, fuelcells make my day... A Fuellifter in the left, the mobile Drillingrig with Converter and a mobile Tankrig in the background to the right, waiting for load. (I made this system from some similar RL experience... )

"Exactly" 15 secs... . no (Part-) mods, Quad core i7 4770 3.6gh (4.0gh max), 2x AMD R9 graphics in crossfiremode, 250Gb SSD. Intel liquid cooled CPUs. Windows 8.1. Module manager loads some 122 patches, Joint reinforcement, engineer redux and raster prop monitor, nothing more. Sometimes the loading time is way less, nearly 10 secs as i assumed first, dont know why?
-
How many patches does your Module Manager apply?
Mikki replied to G'th's topic in KSP1 Mods Discussions
Hi 122. Its enough, Stock play is great now. I use Joint reinforcement, Engineer redux, Raster prop monitor. -
How efficient is your Minmus mining operation? Share your pics
Mikki replied to vej's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Huge Success! After many... disasterous... tests my chiefengineer Bill build finally this: Miner and mobile Tank, filled up and stabilized (krakensafe on landinggear...), waiting for the the fuellifter. I had some issues with unreasonable shaking miningrigs on wheels,... so here is a giant mobile miner attached to a bot fuellifter harvesting that ore tho ... (Here is an advice to all who try to mine Minmus: Tape some landings legs to your mining rig, or you wont have alot of fun up there... if your rig is on wheels, you wont be able to leave the scene without loosing the craft, i had to grab an older Savegame after killing the mining crew !) The KLAW is very usefuel for that task... -
Hi Cool200 it was about time to joy KSP, and from your minimalistic and well reasonable craft i can see you are in the right place . Size doesnt matter, we are all (or at least the most...) worshipping a funny god called Kra... errm deltavee. Long live your Kerbals!

Hi all I have voted the Game is complete, in my personal opinion its on the same level like other highend PC products, aka ARMA series, Flight Simulator X, Morrowind, ... its different and a class of its own, i think it has done PC game history. SQUAD are AWESOME. Greetings

This is good news, definetly. And somewhere i have read that WE are not Rocket Scientist. Maybe better so .

Mikki replied to GehringGame's topic in KSP1 Mission Reports
I hope the update dont break your crafts... if you are going to have a summerbreak- i will grab you out, dont worry! We have also lots to do in RL. Your Duna mission is very nice, my PC is connected to a widescreen TV... i can see ALL details . (i do spy too...) -

"Never start believing others believe the same as you. Dont believe anything at all and start using your mind. When you start using your mind you can begin to live as a normal person as most other people do... Normal behavior can be described as carefull to yourself and others. Nothing is dying, anything is dying. Sorry, but this Thread should be closed for good reason. Its annoying." Mikki

While putting up the last module of my Jool mission... uhhh uuuhhh... and now i know why this happened: look at the navball heading, the Swan was guided from the wrong unit (inside the fairing, attached backwards)... should have seen it... uhhhh. Good thing no Kerbals inside, would have being dissapointed of me ...
-
uuuuuuuuuuuhhhhh, so nice! You are an artist, really. Speechless.
