  1. Thanks for reviewing my entry. The SSTO´s seemed like a good at first, but they caused a few problems and they contributed a lot to the partcount (~40%). It was fun nonetheless, even the mining runs on Pol (37 in total i think) were not as bad as i thought...
  2. Try quicksaving and then quickloading. That helps sometimes...
  3. I just hope it doesn´t affect performance when disabled. I have no idea what this could be useful for...
  4. The oldest bug report indicating that something is wrong with Pol seems to be this: http://bugs.kerbalspaceprogram.com/issues/1601. So yeah, its pretty old (and should be fixed)
  5. Soon or when its ready. Probably 4 weeks like @RA3236 said, probably sooner or later. No one knows how long experimentals will be...
  6. It should be able to place that outside Kerbin's SOI Havn't tried that though... Thanks for looking at my challenge entry
  7. I did something... STS Commander rank 4. Shuttle "George" as the "stranded" one, Shuttle "Thomas" as rescue shuttle.
  8. This is not a way to get new features first, this is a way to get new bugs first. Keep that in mind. Also, i dont think this decision was made to give users of a third-party-service an early look on a unpolished, most likely unplayable version of the game. This decision was made to make this game better by having more eyes to find bugs... I´m curious how many of those people, who opt-in, will also report bugs
  9. The dV needed to do an inclination change depends on your orbital velocity when you execute the burn Edit: That only works that easy for circular orbits. Its more complicated for elliptical orbits. Wikipedia tells you how to calculate it: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orbital_inclination_change
  10. It also depends on the drills you have. The smaller ones have a lower ore rate. Under optimal conditions (large drill + level 5 engineer) you should get a rate of ~0.06.
  11. Nope. You can send as many things as you want
  12. Finished! Pictures here: And for the questions: - Which game versions did you use? 1.0.5 - What mods did you use, if any? KER, MJ, Kerbal Alarm Clock, NavHud, AntennaRange, EVE, scatterer, Planetshine - How many Kerbals are on the mission? 7 - How many launches was needed to start your mission from Kerbin? 12 - How much did your mission cost? ~3,100,000 funds - Did you needed a refueling mission? I did a lot of ISRU... - Did you bring additional stuff like satellites, rovers, etc? A station Also, more landers than needed...
  13. Looked a bit around, its Windows´ ´memory compression' feature. http://www.tenforums.com/windows-10-news/17993-windows-10-memory-compression.html
  14. Since i installed Windows 10 (64bit), it behaves a bit weird: when a 32bit process (like KSP) gets close to 3.5GB, windows shifts about 2GB over to a system process. The process itsself shows 1-1.5GB ram usage... No idea why windows does that, KSP crashes anyways.
  15. Next update! The ship is now refuelled in Pol orbit, waiting to visit the other moons. Part 4 shows the 23 () mining runs, that were needed.
  16. Pol is a weird place... Thats a flag, and when i try to go up there, it teleports down
  17. Update: Part 2 is finished and it contains a lot of pictures. The mission ship is now ready in Kerbin orbit!
  18. Hello, this is my first entry here. I wanted to share my Jool 5 mission with you. Thought about this for a few months now, but never had enough time to do it. But, the mission: It´s an IRSU level entry, and because thats not enough, i´ve put a station on my ship, that i´ll leave at Jool when i return. The ISRU unit is built into that station. Mods used are: KER, MJ (call me lazy, if you want ), Kerbal Alarm Clock, NavHud, AntennaRange, EVE, scatterer, Planetshine Part 1: Planning Part 2: Orbital construction Part 3: Journey to Jool and first mining run Part 4: Mining on Pol Part 5: Laythe Part 6: Tylo and Vall Part 7: Bop and back to Kerbin
  19. I´m currently preparing a Jool 5 mission! No, that isnt big (The Laythe planes are missing on the picture :D)
