  1. Thanks! Thanks! I miss threads all time. Well, your replicas work, plus they don't crash KSP. As to the floating, most of the pics were taken with hack gravity, but for a time I was considering releasing it with a stand. Thanks, everyone, for the comments and rep!
  2. Hey, can moderators see if posts have been deleted by their poster? Thanks!
  3. Clever! I like the way the intakes are mounted, too!
  4. 5/10 Changed your name a while back?
  5. Well, you could use KR-2Ls or whatever that 3.75, single nozzle engine is called. Or you could use NERVAs, try clipping them inside the fuselage, so it's easier to get into orbit. With only one NERVA, you only need a couple of radiators.
  6. Clipped engines and capitalism? That gets the job done!
  7. Nice! Your replicas always get the feel of the craft spot on!
  8. Looks interesting! What kind of engine does it have?
  9. 6/10 sORT OF KNOW YOU. yES, I've BEEN USING FINE CONTROLS.
  10. For suspension, try mounting the wheels on radial ant engines, from between 1 to 3 should be best.
  11. Thanks! I don't think I did forget it, it isn't a rotating turret, but it's there: - - - Updated - - - Thanks a lot! Your craft are so great!
  12. Same thing happened to me, I tried really hard to go to duna, I had this lander which had NEVER successfully landed, even in tests. On duna, my parachutes failed, the landing gear collapsed, and the transfer vehicle ran out of fuel. I landed the command pod from the polar orbit which I would never be able to dock with, and tries to walk jeb over to the pod with bill and bob in it. Then my save started acting up, and a new version came out. Much later, I got a far simpler lander to work.
  13. Thanks! The detail stuff was surprisingly easy, the cockpit was the hardest to get right.
  14. So, after seeing Majorjim's awesome snowspeeder, I decided to make my own star wars craft. I present to you... The Y-Wing fighter-bomber! The Y-Wing holds one pilot, one gunner in a position behind the cockpit, and one astromech droid. It is armed with 2 forward-mounted laser cannons, along with 2 proton torpedo launchers. The Y-Wing comes with streamlined hull plating, but many people, especially in the rebel alliance, who work on these craft remove the plating from the nacelles and main hull, as it makes it easier to maintain and gives a slight performance improvement. Generally the cockpit plating isn't removed, since the cockpit area needs less repair. The Y-Wing is notoriously slow, but makes up for that with it's heavy armament. 639 parts. Two thud engines. Requires infinite fuel. Now, for some pictures: Edit: esinohio's render: Enjoy! Download
  15. Majorjim brings us this piece of pure nostalgic awesomeness. I'm a total sucker for these replica craft you designers manage to come up with. Clearly I need to pay closer attention to the building techniques because I was unaware some of these parts could even be arranged in such a way. Another great one Majorjim! Find it here! I have a y-wing coming soon...
  16. Hey, did you get inspiration for that cockpit from my Willys MB's railings? I don't care, I want people to use my tricks, but I was curious.
