  1. You’re going to make something like this? It would be cool to see it working!
  2. Wow! That’s amazing! Congratulations @realseek!
  3. I have a KSP 1.7.3 instance. The problem I encounter is actual for many mods. I’ll write about my Critical temperature Gauge mod as an example. There is the version 1.7.0.1 of the mod for KSP 1.7.x. There is also the version 1.8.1.0 for KSP 1.8.x incompatible with KSP 1.7.x. When I open CKAN for the KSP 1.7.3 instance, I can see the following: Name Latest version Max KSP Version Critical Temperature Gauge 1.7.0.1 1.8.9 (the ‘Latest version’ column shows the latest compatible version, the ‘Max KSP version’ column shows a value unrelated to this version) When I check it and click Apply changes, I see the following: Mod Change Critical Temperature Gauge 1.8.1.0 (github.com, 22.0 KiB) Install When I click Apply, CKAN installs the version 1.8.1.0 incompatible with KSP 1.7.3. Why does it do so? (I didn’t add KSP 1.8.x in Settings → Compatible KSP versions) Here are the .version files of my mod’s versions:
  4. When launching a crew, will the launch be postponed in a case of rough sees somewhere among all possible areas of emergency splashdown?
  5. I like the idea behind Toolbar Controller. Since almost every mod has to deal with AppLauncher and/or Blizzy’s Toolbar anyway, it was a clever idea to implement this functionality once in a dedicated mod other mods can use. LinuxGuruGamer knows it well. I too find Toolbar Controller not perfect, but this is not a reason to avoid it. It’s open-source, so we can contribute to it. The reason I included Click-Through Blocker as a dependency is simple: Toolbar Controller needs it. Moreover, these two dependencies are almost unavoidable since they are included in every mod handled by LinuxGuruGamer. Very few people, I believe, have a modded installation without a single LinuxGuruGamer’s mod
  6. I tried cfg editing. It helped—the button is not visible. GameData/001_ToolbarControl/PluginData/ToolbarControl.cfg: ... DATA { name = ToolbarController_NS displayName = Toolbar Controller useBlizzy = False useStock = False noneAllowed = True } ...
  7. Yes, they seem to do it pretty well. The key thing is to place a precooler immediately onto the engine with no parts in between. So in my craft, the left-side precooler is placed onto the rear engine and the right-side one onto the front engine (which is placed backwards and has thrust reversion). KerbalX is down now for some reason, so here’s the craft file.
  8. David craft Max speed: 729.4 m/s Max altitude: 30 488 m Water landing
  9. Also, I need a couple of phrases translated into Spanish and Chinese for the settings window localization: ‘Dock gauge to altimeter’ ‘Gauge scale’
  10. Sorry for the delay. Version 1.8.1.0 Updated to KSP 1.8.1. Using ToolbarController. ‘Dock to altimeter’ option added. Scaling support added. Textures redrawn. New dependencies! Click-Through Blocker Toolbar Controller
  11. No, AutoActions can’t do that. It’s for triggering existing action groups at launch.
  12. Since this feature is already implemented in LinuxGuruGamer’s TrimIndicators, I’m not adding it here. Version 1.8.0.0 Target .net framework changed to 4.8. Updated to KSP 1.8.0.
  13. There are many mods in the CKAN list which have an excessively optimistic MaxKSPVersion = ‘any’ setting. Most of them however are not compatible with KSP 1.8, and it’s not convenient to have them visible by default. What could be done with that?
  14. What if the commercial vehicles are not ready by this time?
  15. That’s interesting! Can I see this? Does you craft accumulate kinetic energy in rotating parts like this one or does it use a different technique?
  16. Why can’t a helicopter be used to rescue the crew?
  17. I’m working on the update now. I’ll try to release it before Monday night
  18. It can climb hills! I had to modify the craft a bit however: I increased the ground clearance and added some exra fuel cells.
  19. The official Roscosmos website claims that’s not true. https://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=ru&tl=en&u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.roscosmos.ru%2F26475%2F
