Like this? Sorry my video capture didn't catch the first few seconds of liftoff. Although @Beale whats up with no flames on the Blue Streak engine? your pics show flames but mine doesn't. I don't have RealPlumes installed if that is a must. I did delete the old NLV folder before adding the latest Beta, should I have merged the folders instead? Love your parts @CobaltWolf Centaur almost suffered a flipping issue because it ignited at around 20km altitude and for some reason I thought you had a custom fairing texture for the Centaur fairing? It showed up as stock. If I'm mistaken then ignore that. Anyway Enjoy!

Just wondering if you have already fixed this on the parts it applied to? Can I get instructions on how to do this until next release? I don't want to be a pain, but just wanted to inquire... YAY!!!! Looking forward to this release. Gonna go play test now. I freaking love you man.

Looks Great! I like the extreme-ness of it. The rivets are a super nice touch. I think it is suitable for the Black Prince, it screams "Hey I'm a unique rocket!" Keep it.

@CobaltWolf I'm curious to know your flight pattern. I usually go straight up until either 10 km altitude or 300m/s, whichever happens first, then slowly turn down to 45 deg, stay like that until 30-40km then go horizontal until my intended final altitude. I also slow myself down a single "notch" on the throttle every 100m/s (I can elaborate if that doesn't make sense). Depending on the size of the rocket I usually only use 5-10 units of Monopropellant on the way up. Any tips so I don't have to add RCS or even winglets? Also if my flight path isn't what you meant than forgive me for misunderstanding.

@Beale have you tried putting Place-Anywhere 7 Linear RCS Ports on the upper stages? Also maybe destructive staging would work, have sepratrons, decoupler, and 2nd stage engine activate at the same time to keep momentum going? I have to do this with almost all the upper stages in your mod, and don't take that as a criticism, I honestly believe it's the result of the latest Squad aerodynamic and physics changes a few versions ago. I will try to make an exact remake of the rocket in your video to illustrate if you like.

I usually use the Advanced SAS on top of the Muo tank that tapers to 1.25m, even with all the different upper stages from Able to Centuar I don't have any problems. Of course I always use the single direction stock RCS thrusters to help things along too. Otherwise some small winglets do the trick for me with your Atlas. I don't think it's the mod, I think it's Kerbal itself since Beale's rockets have the same flipping problem, but I never notice the problem because I correct it with winglets, RCS, and SAS. I'll post pics if interested. Or even video.

@VenomousRequiem @CobaltWolf I think I found the problem, in the part cfg files there seems to be a discrepancy in the tech node name on the GEM-40 compared to other parts in the Advanced Rocketry Tech Node. Under the "TechRequired =" section of the GEM-40 file it reads "TechRequired = advancedRocketry" whereas other parts in the same tech node (that show up) read "TechRequired = advRocketry" so just changing the "TechRequired =" line in the config file from advancedRocketry to advRocketry fixes the problem. Confirmed, I edited the line and it now shows up in my Career Mode where it should.

Oh right! I've read you talking about that but forgot. That's awesome, that will fill my 1.25m BDB upper stage gap nicely. Keep up the great work. I've been obsessed with these parts ever since I tried mod you and your partners in crime have made. Random Question: In Career Mode, what tech Node does your Gem-40 aka "Ruby" solid rocket get unlocked? Can't seem to find it....

Hey man, so Contares is ok, some of the parts I don't like very much. But I finally checked out another mod which is similair textures to Tantares, but all the early American rockets. Blue Dog Design Bureau .
Check it out. I'm having a lot of fun with this mod.

I think it would be wise to divide them up by rocket family and I doubt anyone would mind if it isn't exact, although I'm curious what upper stages would have the same manufacturers as core stages. Would Able go with Vanguard? Ablestar with Thor? Agena with Atlas?, etc.? There is no need to have a bunch of different manufacturers, I look at Tantares which I believe has less than 4 different companies (Doesn't Beale use some of the Stock manufacturers as well? Rockomax Conglomerate or is that a Tantares invention?) But in any case don't let it be a source of stress. Leave Blue Dog Design Bureau as at least one of the manufactures and just come up with 2-4 more. Suggestions: United Wolf Alliance Aerojet Rocketwurf Kerbal Dynamics Cobalt (as Convair) Thanks for the Craft Files but the Sub-Assemblies link doesn't work. Says the folder doesn't exist?

Hey @CobaltWolf First off I LOVE THIS MOD, I've known about it for a while because of the Tantares forum, but finally got around to trying yours and OMG I am sooooooo happy to be able to make Thor, Atlas (Stage and a half! Not FASA) Able, Titan, Centaur, Agena (not just the docking version), I'm in love. Also after catching up on this forum and reading the latest developments I wanted to add my 2 cents. I think this would be extremely helpful, although I totally understand your idea of having the lego mindset, which I'm barely starting to play with regarding these mods, most players, including myself, would like to fly the historical version these parts are based on at least once, then go lego crazy from there. May I suggest some of them have the associated military branch as the manufacturer for some of them (Kerbalized of course, like Kerbal Navy being the manufacturer of Vanguard) and then Kerbalized versions of companies (General Kerbantics) for the rest. Even without craft files different manufactures will help everyone to figure out what goes with what. Keep up the great work!

@Beale Wow Dude! That Proton WIP looks soooo Nice! Question though: Do you still intend to have the engines and fuel tank as a single part or will you be splitting them up? Personally I really like it as a single part and don't want that to change, although ultimately its up to you of course. Keep up the great work.

@Beale As far as Proton is concerned I've felt like it was just right the way it is. But if you want to change the size that is cool too. I would recommend 3.0m diameter. But one thing that your Proton is missing is a Briz-M upper stage. I actually use the other Proton mod just for their Briz-M and thank you @InsaneDruid for your work on that Briz-M it's my most used rocket stage now. Although I replace the main engine every time

I personally would really like to have the version on the right with no lip, BUT also have the longer version. With the no lip version I can create sleek satellites or barely noticeable station thrusters. AND with the long lip version i can create stuff like this: Stationary Landing Legs

I like the idea of doubling the fuel capacity for the Fuji fuel tank, and possibly having some monoprop tanks built in to the RCS adapter. And since we are on the subject I think the fuel capacity for the Fregat needs to be doubled or even tripled as well. For it's size compared to other Tantares tanks it could hold more fuel, and I feel like a Fregat Upper Stage should last me longer. The engine itself is fine, having the fuel tank only part allows us to utilize whatever engine we want if we need more power, which is awesome and I hope you continue to have both parts available on future updates. (I happen to like the "Camel" engine just the way it is, but again, needs more fuel) Just my 2 cents.

Would it be easiest if the fins were integrated directly into the WAC engine? Unless they are overpowered I don't see myself using the fins on much else than the WAC. Maybe I'm wrong.
